We have been going to Rocco's for several months. The only thing I ever order is the Seafood Cioppino. It's the best I've had anywhere. They really load it up with all kinds of seafood. I would like to try other dishes but I love the Seafood Cioppino too much. My wife always orders the Francese Chicken and she loves it. The service is always excellent. Pizza restaurant tucked away next to Wendy's in collegeville. Interior is relatively nice and looked comfortable, though I ordered takeout. Service was attentive, but honestly, the food was only okay. First, the pasta. We ordered penne pasta in a blush sauce with chicken. Let me preface by saying, I know pizza places are not usually the place to get top notch pasta, but usually it's serviceable. And, for the price they charge, I assumed it would be on the better side. I thought wrong. Sauce was very bland and there was very little chicken. I definitely won't be getting pasta here again. Now, the pizza. Ordered a personal size because $20 for a large pizza with nothing but sauce and a little cheese is ridiculous. It's humorous how small the personal pizza actually is. Maybe it's because it comes as a square, but it was humorously small. In fairness, they do indicate how many inches in diameter the pizza will be, so it is what it is. The Margherita was pretty good, actually, though not enough basil and too much sauce. The sauce was very good, and if you like a lot of sauce, you'll love this, but maybe not if you expect less sauce. The Buffalo pizza was okay... Not much flavor, but a lot of chicken at least. Overall, this place is okay. I probably would've given this two stars had I ordered more expensive pizzas as the product does not, in my opinion, warrant the price. but since the personal sizes are much cheaper, it softens the blow. I doubt there is anything here that would make me choose this place over a Detroit style at Collegeville Bakery. read more

Really enjoyed my first time here. This is a place I've never been to but is practically right in my backyard. I've been in this shopping center before and I could smell the flavors drifting from their door outside to the parking lot of their pizza creations. My son has been there and was raving about it, so I knew I would be in for a good experience. The menu seems to be pizza, Stromboli/calzones and pasta specialties mainly and there are some appetizers and salads. There are nice tables set up inside but from what I'm told they do an impressive take out business. I was kind of surprised to see sandwiches, cheesesteaks, grinders etc not on the menu. The portions are huge and the prices are good and that = satisfaction to me - providing that the quality is there. The quality is certainly there at Rocco's. I ordered the spinach calzone which was spinach, mozzarella and ricotta cheese and I could taste the garlic. I was thinking that this entree may be a bit bland- but it was seasoned nicely with a wonderful garlic flavor. The spinach was fresh and the ingredients were plentiful. The calzone was crisp and browned on the outside and melty and delicious inside. For a small it was 8.99 and I didn't even get through 1/3 of it. It's a win win though because I love leftovers! Service was pleasant and Ericka (her first day on the job) was very pleasant and sweet. I'll definitely be back. They had an area for extra napkins & since I hadn't been there in the past I thought you were supposed to get these things yourself- there were seasonings and some sugar caddies in the same area. Ordered two pizzas. The first was undercooked, the second was burnt. The second pizza was a Margherita. Their menu shows a picture of a Margherita with tomatoes on it. This burnt pizza had no tomatoes on it. When I tried to return the pizza I was told that their Margherita does not come with tomatoes. I was also told that it was burnt on the one side because the brick oven is at 700plus degrees. Their customer service tactics are to make you feel like you are the problem not their sub quality product. They offered to make me another "if you want". Made it clear they did not think they should be doing anything Been going their for over 20 years and have watched their quality erode over the last few years. We had them with Grubhub delivery last night and it was terrible. The Pizza was lukewarm and all the toppings fall to one side and looks messy. The bottom of the box was soggy with grease. Consistent. Friendly. Fast. I've been going to Rocco's for years. Their pizza is ok in my book. Not my personal favorite with the exception of the melanzano. Their Italian dishes are great. I love their veal but they don't always have it which can be frustrating b/c the menu days they make it Friday and Saturday. The lasagna is good. The chicken parm is good. The pasta tends to be a bit overcooked. The steaks are the best around here. The meat is actually seasoned, the rolls are fresh, and the meat o bread ratio is perfect. They have lots of creative salads. Above al, their meatballs are ahe star of the show. I rider them by the tray for parties and events. Have tried numerous pizza places in the area, and this was our first visit to Rocco's Pizza. Overall we were mildly disappointed due to what you receive and what we were charged. We ordered a large brick oven half sausage pie and when picking up the box looked a little smaller than normal. We were either overcharged or the place is too expensive. Only thing that saved us from giving less than 3 stars was the fact the pizza wasn't that bad. We were just left extremely hungry due to the small portion size. Found this place when a coworker recommended it for a lunch meet up, and wow! I didn't expect to have my mind blown but it was. It was hands down the best Caesar salad I ever had--fresh, homemade dressing, and the croutons literally melt in your mouth. Outstanding. My colleague got a Cobb salad which was ENORMOUS, heaped with toppings, which she also raved about. And the pizza was as authentic as could be, reminded me of being in Naples. I had the melanzana (eggplant) which comes seasoned and fried crispy on top of a beautiful red sauce pie. Absolutely spectacular, to the point I forced myself to save a piece for my husband to try and after he did, he insisted we order a full pie the very next night, and it was just as amazing! So not a one-off, for sure! On top of the amazing food the staff is very friendly and they work fast--we called in an order for two pies and even with being made fresh, they were ready in 20 min! Love Rocco's Pizza! It has been a staple of my childhood, considering it is right across the street from my house! Food wise: I have never had anything bad at Roccos, and I am to the point where I do not need to look at the menu because I have tried something from every category of food! Tonight: I had the anti pasta salad for dinner, being my grandfather is old school Italian, this salad is spot on old school Anti pasta salad with a generous serving of tuna in the middle. I also had the Buffalo Chicken Cheesesteak, which is to die for, especially with extra blue cheese! (Side note, I will give anything with blue cheese a try, and most likely a 5 star rating). My sister got a veggie Stromboli, which was also really good. Pizza: Any of their specialty Pizza's are good! Overall: Growing up, I went here at least once a week, and I def will be back. Roccos is my go to restaurant. I've had a lot of the items they serve and have never had a bad meal. All the ingredients are fresh and you can taste the difference it makes. Their specialty pizzas are something to try if you've never had one. The taco and stuffed cheesesteak are some of my favorites. The staff is great and very friendly making you feel like you're eating at home. I can't give to much of an opinion on the deserts because I'm usually too full from appetizers, salad and the meal to even think about desert. Always a 5 out of 5 every time. read more

A staple from my college days, a friend and I went to Rocco's the other day while in C-ville. Everything was exactly the same as I remembered; which in this case was great. Rocco's is a really nice little mom & pop style pizza place that's been around for a long time. The food is delicious, and I've enjoyed everything I've ever had here. I like the pasta alla rocco: chicken, shrimp, and sausage in a vodka rosa sauce. Large and rich, but very satisfying. Their pizzas are great; I like to go adventurous in the taco pizza with steak, lettuce, tomato, and hot sauce. Their pizzas can come in a personal size, which is awesome when you don't have friends to share with. On my most recent trip, my bff got a turkey panini with bacon and avocado with a tomato aioli that was really delicious. Perfectly moist filling with crispy bread. Prices for everything are super reasonable, and you get gigantic portions. The place is BYO, which was perfect for my 20 year old self and company to bring in cases of natty light, when I used to think that was cool. There are a few older guys there, most likely owner & manager something like that, that are super welcoming and knowledgeable. The actual waitresses are just so-so though. Mostly young girls that are nice, but definitely mere order takers and not particularly speedy if it's busy. read more
