He said he would try and get the car fixed by Saturday so I asked him if I can make an appointment for during the week because I needed my car to get home and to go somewhere the next day. My car really wasn't safe. The axle was making a loud clunking noise. He went out of his way to have my car ready by closing time Friday. The work that was done to my car was top notch. Came for the tires, stayed for the customer service. I cannot recommend these guys enough whether you need tires, brakes, rotors, or just an oil change. Seriously, it's hard to find a place you trust completely so best to go with the one you do find and stick with them! You know those "discount" tire shops that make you wait there with no update for 4+ hours just to mount some tires? Corsi is NOT that kind of tire shop. Here's what happened: As I was leaving work the universe gifted me a completely flat tire. I loaded the tire up with slime from the car's mobility kit (Ford doesn't believe in spares anymore), and limped to a discount tire store that rhymes with "Navis". 3-hour wait and was told I'd need a new tire because of the slime in the tire. Probably a second matching tire as well to complete the pair so that they wore correctly. Oh, and I'd have to wait even longer because others had appointments. And don't forget to balance and rotate and etc. blahblahblah. Screw that. So I did what any exhausted, angry (and frankly, broke) working stiff would (but shouldn't) do in this situation - I took my keys, my car, and my bruised pride and limped home with the bad tire. The next day I brought it in to Corsi fully expecting them to give me the same spiel I got from "Navis" the other day. To my surprise, I was told they would clean out the slime and patch the puncture. Great! "How long's the wait?", I asked. "Not long - we'll put it on the lift now. Give us about an hour." An hour and $37 later, good as new. Corsi is awesome! read more

I've been using Corsi for probably 15 or more years on all my families cars. I have never been disappointed! From oil changes to brakes and tires the service has always been great! I have never ever felt "ripped" off for any repair. Their service prices are about half of what you would pay at the dealership and they stand behind their work. After hitting a huge pothole one of my tires developed a slow leak. I thought about taking it to one of the local chain tire dealers (cough, Mavis) but was put off by the huge number of negative reviews, detailing the rude, poor service people got there along with the hard upselling and other dubious business practices. Maybe a decent place for tires but the tires you get wear unusually fast. Maybe it's just the cheap tires they sell. Also tried to have other mechanic work done and was told nothing was wrong. Only to find out that they tried to fix it, stripped a bolt couldn't and get it off. Told me everything was fine. Many other places to get work done with honest mechanics. Here's the thing about Corsi Tire: I've learned from a number of experiences that I can trust them. I've been taking my 2001 Volvo S80 to them for a few years now. With a car that old, you never really know what kind of trouble you're going to have. Don't get me wrong, I love my old car and want to keep it. This past week had days of back to back sub-freezing temperatures and I noticed that my power steering was starting to make noise. I figured it had something to do with the cold weather but each day it got worse and then I noticed it was leaking power steering fluid. I envisioned serious complications and hundreds of dollars in repair. I called Corsi and they told me to drop it off and they would have a look at it. The call came later that afternoon. The problem? A loose clamp on one of the power steering line hoses and I could pick the car up at my convenience. The cost? A few bucks. In the wrong hands, this could have been a whole new power steering system (I'm not an auto repair expert, what do I know). They could have hit me with a big bill and I wouldn't have known any better. Bottom line for me: Corsi tire is a trusted place to take my old Volvo. read more

Had a flat tire. AAA switched with donut. AAA recommended Corsi. They had a 3 1/2 hour wait. Ok, left the tire. They patched the puncture and charged me the $37. HOWEVER, they couldn't find the 5-10 minutes to switch the donut out. Told me to come back at 6:30 AM and get in line..... Poor service for the $. AAA please don't recommend Corsi read more

I reccomned 100%. Nobody was able to balence my wheels correctly. Corsi did! Road force balanceing works! They even told me one of my rear rims was dented and didn't charge to balence that one. Your tires will vibrate because they do not know how to balance them. Trust me - I had to pay someone else to do it correctly. They will roll a jack under your car and jack it up without making sure it is in the proper location, thereby crushing/bending components, including the body itself. They did this twice to me. They will charge for a wheel alignment then tell you certain settings are not adjustable when you know for a fact they are. I went for an inspection just a couple months after the wheel alignment and failed because my front-end was "dangerously worn". If so, why was it good enough to do an alignment just a month or two earlier? The took my car for a "test drive" after the inspection and came back with lunch. read more

Had to get two new tires mounted due to sidewall damage. Drove from Yonkers because they're one of the few places that does Road Force Balancing for a reasonable extra price. Read good reviews about them on Yelp as well so decided to give them a try. I can see why they have fans. Good service, I was in and out quickly and they even handled my special request perfectly without forgetting. Good to have an independent shop with good service as an option as opposed to large chains. read more

Made an appointment for some special order tires to be installed. Also had NY state inspection and oil change done at the same time. Told me it would be 2 hours so I went next door to the shopping center to take care of some errands and lo and behold when I came back 2 hours later car was just being backed out of garage. Price was cheaper than Mavis or Sears and included mounting, balancing, valves and 5K rotations. Would definately visit again. read more

Also did a great job with my 370 Z. With little fuss--they quickly replaced my two front tires, one bald and the other impaled by a nail. They did their diagnostic work and replaced both tires in the space of a lunch hour. read more

I replaced my 2002 Jeep Liberty upper and lower ball joints, inner an outer tie rods, sway bar links along with two new bearing hubs. All this was done due to the inside of the front tire being worn way down, due to bad lower ball joints. They were the original parts, 20 years old. As I had to get to work I wound the tie rods with plyers to get the alinement close enough to drive. On Friday 11/19/2021 it was dropped of at Mavis to be aligned. They called my home to say the Tech was worried the tie rods were stripped due to the chew marks I left with the plyers. He did not want it to be on him if he touched them. I have used Mavis many times over the years and have had positive results, so if they were unsure, I was happy they called. Took it to Corsi after leaving Mavis and got it back before they closed a five. Their alignment Tech did a good job. read more

On my way to work, I shredded tire on Route 9 after running over some accident debris. I put my doughnut on and got into work, then started shopping tires on the net (with my supervisor's permission). The closest place was Mavis, but I had dealt with the Peekskill store many years before, and I did not like them at all. After reading tire reviews, I decided on Coopers, then shopped those locally and found Corsi tire. I called them up and asked if I could come in, the gentlemen asked my tire size and quoted them right over the phone, installation included. By far the best price. I headed down to Ossining and they took me right away, even though they were pretty busy. I asked about an alignment, and was told they were too backed up, but to give them call and come back the next day, and they would check the alignment for free. They are a smaller family-run business who provide a good price with quick and courteous service. I purchased a brand new tire at Corsi on 6/27/15, on 7/29/15 I was traveling down South and the left front brand new tire I purchased from Corsi Tires came apart at the seams in MD. Luckily I didnt have a major accident and made it to a reputable tire center where they installed and balanced the new tire unlike Corsi whom simply mounted the tire. Upon calling them to discuss a warranty as it had not lasted 50 days they told me they could not do anything without the tire that fell apart on the roadway. They will not accept the professional testimony of the tire shop that properly installed the replacement tire. Nothing for my troubles, nada, zip, zilch...not even an apology! Buyer beware, these guys just want your money and customer service means nothing to them. read more

I purchased a set of 4 new tires from these guys a few months ago. They gave me honest opinions on what type of tire I needed and did not try to upsell me on things I didn't need or overly expensive option tires. Just a couple weeks ago I started having a leak from one of the tires that were replaced and they took a look at it for me. They fixed the leak for me and admitted it was an oversight during the initial tire replacement when it was resealed. There was no charge for this followup visit.
