After my brother and two…read moreclose friends of mine had it done over a year ago i decided my glasses just had to go!! i was very nervous even thinking about it. lets be serious it is not a small a surgery, but after meeting Dr. Aronsky and his associates i started getting more and more excited. i went through many tests to make sure that i was a candidate for Lasik and sure enough i WAS.. every person i met with made sure i understood exactly what the procedure was going to be like. they wanted me to be knowledgeable on the entire process. on my final pre- examination they asked me one final time if i have any questions.. (ohhh did I) so pulled out my 3 sheets of paper filled out back to front with questions and went at it. the doctors where so patient they spent a good half hour (if not more) answering all of my questions and making sure i understood. the day of the surgery went like a breeze i had a few more tests just to make sure everything was good to go. i then proceeded downstairs where the procedure was going to take place. i had a few people in front of me. i was not worried at all. they put on a DVD on anice big flat screen, i sat back in very comfortable seat with a nice hot coffee waiting for my turn. i then had two people in front of me, so one of the lovely ladies took me in the back waiting room where she put me in a gown and put little booties on my shoes. i then laid back in a recliner and waited. (one of the nicest waiting rooms i have been in) as the time came closer i don't know what hit me, but i was almost trembling because i was soooo nervous. there was a few people in the waiting room along with a few nurses. In the 30 min it took to take me back i felt so comfortable talking with everyone. The one nurse Margaret was the BEST! We talked and talked and as the other two people went in came out laughing how easy and painless it was. Then it was my turn. so honestly, i was still very nervous i think i was literally trembling in the chair, but Dr. Aronsky walked me through the whole process. it was so nice to know exactly what was going to happen next. they constantly asked me if i was okay and if i needed anything. before i knew it the procedure was over literally 40 seconds on each eye. that is not an exaggerated time. it was over before i knew it. i am now on day 3 and still a little blurry but I CAN SEE!! the blurriness is slowly getting better by the hour. i HIGHLY RECOMMEND KREMER LASER EYE CENTER IN KING OF PRUSSIA. He says my glaucoma is no longer moderate but mild and my peripheral vision is outstanding. If you need cataract surgery or have glaucoma, he is the first doctor you should see. The office experience is also outstanding -- all his employees are cheerful and able to explain every procedure you undergo. His equipment is state-of-the-art, and you don't have to take drops for your IOP to be measured. I cannot recommend Dr. Shafer and his practice enough!

Needless to say - they insisted on putting through me medical insurance - which gives them a higher reimbursement and charges me a much higher co-pay. My prior optometrist always put through my vision insurance. There is nothing wrong with my eyes, but they noted "the start of age related cataracts (that won't require surgery for many years), and other minor things that don't need treatment. I have since heard similar stories from others. Also - their glasses are very expensive. They only had a handful that would be fully covered by my insurance. Buyer beware!

At my follow up, I was accused of "its all in your head" by Gina and Dr. Wulc. I came in with mild malar festoons and ended up needing a facial fat grafting after just 1 Morpheus8 session. My experience has been a NIGHTMARE and the total opposite of everything I was led to believe I would look like for $1400. Stay away from these people!
