I have never liked the and had a very bad experience with one in Bradenton, but after I came here, I haven't went anywhere else. Dr. Christina Legradi is absolutely fabulous. She truly cares for each one of her patients. She has the sweetest personality and bedside manner. With my high anxiety with dental procedures she keeps me calm. Not to mention her front office staff are all wonderful. read more

my boyfriend was diagnosed with cancer and he had to get a Dentist checkup to see if he needed any teeth pulled before he could start treatment so we went to Cortez Dental and he only had a broken tooth and a filling that needed to be done so they took the pieces of tooth but refused to sign off on the paper he needed to get his radiation and chemo and said he would sign off on it after he cleaned his teeth so they set a date for that i cancelled that but let them go ahead to do the filling because the filling won't stop him from getting the treatment he needed and after i sat there for a hour and a half they came out and told me he was almost done with the cleaning so i got a little upset because i told the lady that they wasn't suppost to be doing the cleaning and no one gave him permission to do the cleaning and she said that they decided to go ahead and do it while he was there so now guess what he can't get the treatment that he needs because this dentist compromised his mouth and time not is not on his side the longer it takes for his treatment his will lose his voice box. And the doctor even told him that it would take 2 weeks before they can do his treatment And i feel it was all about the money he had no right to do this and they knew he couldn't say anything because he has a trek and can't speak. i even told the doctor what was going on with him and it was like he could care a less about he needed and he made sure he did what HE wanted to do not what we needed done read more

Cortez Dental was our lifeline. After going to another dental group in the area that proposed an outrageous amount of work and expense a friend told us about Cortez Dental. We went to them for a second opinion. So glad we did! They assured us that most of the work was unnecessary. We have been using them ever since. The doctors are so nice, the hygienists are great and we feel very confident that they have our best interests at heart. We are customers for life! read more

I hate the dentist so much but the ladies at this office made it a much better experience. I went in for a basic cleaning and I will be back to get some work done. My sister works for a dentist in Colorado and I wanted to double check pricing and make sure what they recommended is what I needed. I sent the treatment plan to my sister and she confirmed that everything looked legit and the pricing was average. I will say unfortunately I will be back but it does make me feel better to know that my mouth is in good hands. :) read more

I had an awesome experience at Dr. Sheahan's office. As a new patient, I was having severe anxiety. The waiting room was clean, and the front office very friendly and professional. My appt was at 9:30 am and I was brought into the examination room at 9:33 am. The CDA was nice and gentle doing my x-ray. and actually wrote down the issues I was there for. It's always nice when you don't have to repeat yourself and people are attentive. The impressions for my night guard were done properly, and quickly. I found Dr. Sheaham to be very knowledgeable and did a beautiful job on my fractured tooth.. I also was very happy with the amount I paid for the work done. Highly recommend!!!!! read more

Very disappointed with the way I was treated by the front office and woman who discusses the treatment plan with the patient. Went to see Dr. Sheehan to establish my self as a new patient ( new to area ) with new insurance. Waited 20 mins in waiting room - which is dirty. Once in the exam room (dirty walls) Nancy the dental tech did over 15 X-rays and did gum pocket assessment. This took over 30 mins. Met Dr Sheehan who is very nice but clueless to how her staff is killing her business, came in to say hi and agreed my gums needed to be watched and cleanings should be maintained to be sure stay healthy. She left, Nancy came back in and still no cleaning....she had to check my insurance coverage which includes 2 yearly cleanings...still waiting and in comes the front office/receptionist/maintenance worker to tell me that it would be $85 to get my teeth cleaned...what? It should be $0 because my Cigna insurance covers 2 cleanings per year. They wanted an additional $85 due to being a 'periodontal patient'....okay....they refused to do a teeth cleaning because I refused to paying the $85 for something included in my insurance benefits. Nancy never came back and Dr. Sheehan never said a word when she could clearly hear the conversation in the next exam cube. What a shame, she seemed like a pretty good dentist. Seems like they would rather get $85 than a lifetime patient. Avoid them. read more
