Having tried 1-2 different types of Corvus from whole foods, I didnt expect much from their coffee shop but I was surprised how much I enjoyed the spot. Located off broadway and has free parking so that's also convenient. Coffee at their location was super good and they increased my image of their beans/roastery. Maybe it was an off day, but I've lived in Denver my whole life and haven't ever been here, wanted to try it out. The barista's were not very friendly, and kinda of scoffed when I ordered just a drip with a little cream to sip on? It was reallllly sour tasting, and I don't know if it was brewed incorrectly or what. But I could barely choke down a few sips? Maybe an off day. When I was walking away the barista mentioned something to the other gal how she's sick of new people coming in , doesn't like them, and how she's happy to see her regular people. Just OK. There are No real options like before for alternative milk but oat which is not Oatly that I find the best of all oat milk. Coffee was not very flavourful. Lacked depth and flavor. Had a slight dusty/Musty flavor to it. We use to like this place when we came into to town but we are just not interested any longer. Hard to find good coffee and Corvus does an OK job but it's not very good compared with really good, properly roasted/stored coffee. read more

Corvus Coffee is becoming one of my go-to places to meet people for a nice social chat, as they offer some solid coffee and tea options and some decent seating both indoors and outdoors. I haven't yet had any of their pourovers unfortunately, but have had some americanos, teas, and cold brews that haven't disappointed. They have a good ambiance inside, and they do their best outside to cover things in a rather open space. Parking is relatively easy, as there's a lot you can park in, and street parking is generally available too. The baristas are nice and friendly. If this were a bit closer to my place, I'd consider working here on the daily. read more

Great local coffee shop down south broadway! They have unique coffee and amazing local pastries. They have breakfast sandwiches and those go quick, so make sure you're there early to grab one! If you want something sweet, the Colorado queen is my favorite! The staff is always friendly and seems to have a good repor with returning customers. I typically grab my coffee to go, but there is always a handful of people either in the back section or out in the outside area out front. Huge plus, they have a parking lot. read more

THE EXPRESSO!!! My thing when traveling is to try new coffee shops and this came up as the first one on list of coffees. It was my first time coming here and I definitely was not disappointed. I chose a vanilla mocha latte and my friend got an americano with cream and sugar and let's just say wow! The expresso is so incredibly smooth and sits easy with the tastebuds. We run into this place a couple weeks ago on our way to a park. We wanted fresh coffee and Corvus didn't disappoint. Very cool place. Very spacious, trendy inside with lots of various seating. I saw people working on their laptops and sipping on cold brew. We got the Japanese cold brew and it was exquisite! perfect amount and amazing flavor. The gentleman who was working there explained us the cold brewing process and it was great to learn something new. Of all of the shops in Denver I was excited to try, this one had the highest of expectations coupled with the greatest disappointment. Quite a bummer. Stopped by on a Saturday late afternoon and there was a short line. The barista working the line was very friendly and ensuring orders were getting out in a quicker manner. They had great cold brew options and a huge, diverse retail bean section. I ordered my usual shot and waited for quite a while. Once called I picked up my giant slate board and sat down to enjoy their house espresso blend. The shot was blown and way over-extracted. I didn't want to drink it. I'm too polite so I did finish it, but it took a lot of inner strength to do so. I'm sure they hadn't dialed in the espresso for a while if they had a constant line long before I arrived. The indoor area leaves a lot to be desired. It's stoic and bland. You can see the roasting area in the back if you walk around to see it. My wife and I loved visiting Corvus this Saturday morning. It was one of those mornings where coffee was not a "want" but a "NEED". The place was busy but not overly crowded. We both got a drip coffee, which was strong and got us in our feet within the first few sips. The house roasted arabica beans imparted a sweet flavor and smooth finish to this hot cup of coffee - I thought the warm interior finishes, lighting, and friendly service made for the great atmosphere that you would want out of your local cafe/coffee shop. The more expensive pour over coffees (like $6+ price point) are some of the best I've had period. I've been to the location on Broadway and the one on Wadsworth. I prefer the Broadway location, the dudes there live and breath coffee so it's super fun to chat with them about it. I've never had coffee before that had such strong flavor notes of fruit (there was a Columbian that tasted like cherry juice, and another that really tasted like lime/citrus). This is the second time we have been in to buy coffee to take to our friends in China. The staff has always been super helpful in choosing a roast that they would like and getting it ground to the needs of the Vietnamese coffee maker that they use. Ok, the coffee's good too. We have really been liking the Kyoto coffee highballs lately. Especially the Match Maker and Kanaloa Kyoto. These are fantastic iced coffees with super interesting flavor combinations. The Kanaloa involves lime, cinnamon, and chipotle and is great. The snickerdoodle scones are tasty and the oat bites are a great combo of PB and oats (and a bunch of other stuff). The atmosphere is very chill and we enjoy sitting down and enjoying our coffee and snack while the staff grinds the coffee beans. read more

It's not overly sweet, but it still adds a little bit of flavor on top of the already tasty coffee. Great place to sit and work for a while as well. Good Wi-Fi and there's plenty of spots to sit and chill. If you end up around the area for a while, there's great lunch and dinner spots nearby to pop into as well. Some of the best coffee in Denver!! I always order a caramel latte. It is SO smooth. I'm no coffee connoisseur by any means but it's easy to tell how good this coffee is. They also do some great seasonal drinks as well. Can be a little pricey but honestly the quality makes it worth it. I normally take my coffee to go so not totally sure how the place is for working. I will say it can be fairly quiet in there which can be good and bad. I was having a conversation with a friend at a table in the back area and really felt like everyone in the building could hear what we were saying. It was so quiet. But that could be great for getting some work done. Lastly, it can be hit or miss with the staff. Some of them are so friendly and kind but then other days it seems they'd rather you not be there.
