Almost a decade ago as a new driver, I joined my family's insurance experts with the folks at Cory McElwee's Statefarm office. It is fantastic to be able to call an agent with a local area code instead of a 1-800 #. In the last 9 years I've had two deer jump in front of me, been rear ended, and had my car catch on fire on dry grass in the summer. Cory and his team always fought for coverage on my end, and always picked up the phone when I called. When having to wait for Statefarm corporate for the fire issue, I called almost twice a day for a month. I never heard an ounce of frustration or impatience from anyone at the office, even while I was definitely worried. They calmed me down and have always guided me in the right direction for my issues and coverage options. But before I could send her the details she already sent me a quote. She had used my business card, looked at my web site, found the address and generated a quote based on that.
