Downtown San Francisco has blocks and blocks of different businesses. It's hard to find lots of businesses in SF which had its start within the 1800's ( not the address number but the years of the 1800's) in San Francisco. My childhood apartment in San Francisco in the Mission was my backyard and shared the same backyard with the Elixir ( one of oldest bar in San Francisco established in 1858) .When it comes to the years of technology companies which have been in business for over 20 years it seems more like 20 dog years which is the equivalent to 100 human years. There a few businesses which are over 100 years old in San Francisco and fewer that are over 150 years old in human years. There is a family owned business in San Francisco which started over 150 years ago and still exists on Market street and it's called Patrick & Co. Walking down Market street the vibe of downtown San Francisco is a blend of vintage and modern with a mix of the future. Walking past the See's Candies and The Paris Baguette and inside Patrick & Co., you will see lots of office supplies . You will also find many fun items like calendars , cards , journals, stationaries, and interesting books. You will also see anything from Hello Kitty bags to stickers of animated animals and food. This is a good place to pick up some original design greeting cards along with the pens and markers. This place is over 150 years old in San Francisco and the business feels timeless. Come visit and witness an historical San Francisco business with a modern feel. Go to a place which has supplies for business that can be "internal"or for personal secrets like getting a diary or "journal" this is one of the San Francisco businesses that's still exist and seems "eternal"and was around when Custer was still an United States Army "Colonel" This place is still open for business after 150 years in human years its considered "geriatric" hats off to the company in SF name "Patrick"it is a business that's been in business without getting " theatric"and still ticking for over 150 years all organic without a cheap trick just a consistence "hat trick"

Plus, they typically have unique gift items and they overall have a feeling of times when people were people. This particular Patrick & Co. location was an absolute treat to browse through. Items that took us down memory lane. Gifts for people in our lives. And organizational tools that we didn't know we needed until we came upon them. Prices might be higher than a big box store but not overly expensive. Some of the merchandise was priced in-line with what I've seen elsewhere. It was a delightful time strolling through the aisles. If we lived in San Francisco, and nearby, I'd be a regular customer.

After my wife found Jay's Small Moves and seeing their great reputation, we decided to book them. We had heard plenty of horror stories from friends and family about moving companies, so we were a little nervous going into the process but Jay's Small Moves completely exceeded our expectations. Roberto and his team arrived right on time and had our condo loaded incredibly quickly. Even though we didn't have any boxes containing fragile items, they treated every piece of furniture with great care, carefully wrapping everything in moving blankets and plastic wrap before loading it. It was clear they took pride in protecting our belongings. They arrived at our new apartment on schedule and placed every piece of furniture exactly where we wanted it without any issues. From start to finish, including the drive across the Bay, the entire move took about four hours--roughly two hours faster than we expected. The entire experience was efficient, professional, and stress-free. We would absolutely use Jay's Small Moves again for our next move, and we've already recommended them to several friends.

So I had to do a 2 part move and I used Jay's Small Moves for both! We did an apartment to storage unit then a storage unit to condo move within 2 weeks. For both moves, there were 2 guys each with 1 truck, and they were fast/efficient and polite/professional! Got the move done both times in under 2 hours. Also really appreciate George, who I spoke with on the phone a few times and was helping me with the 2 separate moves and quotes. I was moving end of June/early July so it was a really busy time since it was around the holiday. George helped fit me in, and also gave me a really reasonable quote. I would recommend using Jay's Small Moves for another move!
