This place has been around for awhile and I like that they have pizza by the slice. This time, we ordered two pizzas and garlic knots. The hot honey pepperoni was amazing. I didn't care for the margherita much, but I also didn't choose to order that pizza anyways. The garlic knots were soft and fluffy inside but could have used more garlic. Definitely a good spot to go grab food at after a morning surf session. read more

Excellent pizza! Very tasty and the vegetables on top are nice and crispy - very fresh - not overcooked. They have a solid beer selection with several local choices. Location right across the street from the pier is ideal. The view of the occasional passing train kept my son entertained. We'll go again next time we're in town. read more

Ok! So this place is packed! And while I loved the pizza & the salad, the restaurant itself needs some TLC! It's small, and that's ok! But ... it's also dingy & dirty & no one was wiping down the tables! The day we were there the soda machine wasn't making ice and that was a bummer because Our drinks were warm. The trash was overflowing and the walls were greasy & dirty! I have to admit though, the food was good! The pizza was delicious & so was their house salad. Prices are very affordable! read more

Having come here for years at this point.. I expect more. The appeal is they have long hours and easily accessible. You can't really mess up a pizza and wings. The food quality is consistent. It is getting more expensive tho. The reason for my lower review is due to the cleanliness of this location. Regardless of the time it is always dirty and trash full. The restroom .. omg horrible. Pizza with a View!! Talk about a great location! It's right across the street from the San Clemente Pier. It's perfect for a lunch or dinner at the beach!! You'll get a view of the sunset, although you'll get a better view when you walk across the street to the pier. Dine there or get take out and have a picnic by the beach, either on the grass area or at the tables by the sand. There's a monorail train that runs through so it can be loud. It's a small pizzeria so seating is limited when it's busy. The Pizzas were so cheesy and hot when they put them on the table. The smells coming from the food were heavenly! It was definitely enough to feed our group of 8!! If I was just to review the food, they would've definitely got five stars! However, my review is based off of the service as well. I was easily able to place an order on the slice app and pick up at the restaurant. This was fairly simple and gave me about a 30 minute wait time. When I got into the restaurant, I stood there for a few minutes and was waiting at the front counter for someone to make eye contact with me, saying "excuse me" Finally, after about some time, a young man asked if he can help me. I explained that I placed an order and I'm there to pick up. He abruptly said "for what?" I gave him my name and I told him what my order consisted of, He turned around and grabbed the boxes behind him which were mine! I said thank you and he gave no reply. I asked if I can please get some plates. He looked at the female standing right next to him and they both kind of snickered. He acted like I was asking for too much!! The young man gave me 3 plates and I said thank you, again he said nothing. Was extremely disappointed with the customer service. When I got back to my condo, the Margarita pizza lacked cheese, but it had really good flavor and was tasty. The fig and goat cheese pizza was so delicious!!! I wanted to eat it every day I was there. However, the customer service deterred me! This restaurant makes a pretty good pizza. Hopefully the next time I try this place maybe the customer service will be on point, versus what I got. read more

We had the BBQ chicken pizza, the Megan's special, the Greek salad with balsamic vinaigrette, and some buffalo wings. Nothing was very good. The BBQ had almost no sauce. The Megan's was probably the best one but it also had very little in the way of sauce. The Greek salad was the worst one I've had and the worst thing we ordered. It was entirely spinach with nothing resembling Greek about it. The wings had very little coating though they were juicy and cooked well. All in all, not worth the near $80 we spent by a long shot. The wait wasn't too bad but the vibes in there were not friendly. Wouldn't return. read more

Love Cosentino's! You can purchase it by the slice if you're solo or a box if you're with a big party. Has cute beach front seating, and I love that the staff are always smiling and friendly! I'd recommend the 'Large Double Pepperoni Pizza drizzled w Mike's Hot Honey'! The crust isn't too thick how I like it, the honey isn't overbearing, and they actually add double pepperoni compared to other places! 10/10! read more

I found this place when visiting my friend a couple years ago. I'm not from this area I'm from Fresno, but my trip this week was in San Diego and I knew I had to come here for the pizza and view. I love this place and don't want to bring down the rating, I love the pizza and convenience being able to grab something by the beach and not spend that much money but I was in yesterday and what the hell is going on in the bathroom? It looks like it's never been cleaned.. like ever, the door is black, the walls are disgusting, poop and pee all over the toilet, you literally don't even want to wash your hands because the sink is so gross. The metal toilets at the beach are cleaner. I really love this place but come on guys. A deep cleaned once in a while would do you good. And by the way, I get that this place is very busy, employees are young and I'm not saying the floors need to be mopped every hour. Go in and look for yourself though read more

I've been ordering from Cosentino's for some time. However, last night they really let me down. The pizza arrived cold and over cooked with huge bubbles on many of the slices. Basically threw half of it away. A waste of $45. I did call to let them know and they offered to make a free small pizza if I wanted to come pick it up. That didn't work for me. A small restaurant across from the pier in San Clemente. Amazing view of the beach. They are children and dog friendly. About every 30 minutes a train goes by. So fun. The food here is so good, I have tried almost everything, 10 out of 10. The staff is all young locals, and very friendly. Absolutely love this place.
