Gabe the owner , came to my house to fix a leak I had that was under the slab, he recommended to repipe or repair .but I did not have the money at the time, so I decided to only repair the section by jack hammering and digging the spot up. Even though his repipe estimate was by far a great price, .. I've used a lot of plumbing company's and Cosios plumbing is by far the best .. Gabe also used plastic and protected my floors using drop cloths for walking on , one of the most hottest days of summer and Gabe and his helper never complained After the work was done gabe and his helper went above and beyond!! My 50 gallon water heater started to leak and went through "thumbtack" got hooked up with Cosio's plumbing. For a weekend and with COVID lock down in place was kinda difficult to find someone ready to come out. Gabriel was one of the first to respond and willing to come in w a accurate estimate after sending him pictures. Couple of other guys wanted up front $ and another guy said he can't get to his supplier and I would have to wait. These guys are the guys to hire. I contacted many plumers and they all were way over charging me. I had roots on my pipes and my bathtub would get filled up and the toilet wouldn't flush. Big plumer companies wanted to charge me over 300$ to pass the camera plus if i had roots they were telling i was going to have to spend over 2k to fix the problem. I contacted Cosio's and they came with in the hour and showed me the problem with the camera, i did have roots and they charge me on a affordable price. They also traveled from burbank all the to Lancaster. I look forward in hiring Cosio's again for a different project. read more

Seems a good plumbing company as far as the work (I hope!). They replaced a shower cartridge for me and their crew showed up CLOSE to the time window they gave me (which isn't too bad for contractors and plumbers) and worked quickly. I would still have given them 5 stars for being available and pleasant, but I needed to have confirmation that they are licensed/ insured, which they said would be no problem to provide by email. One star off for never actually having insurance or licensing documentation available despite multiple times telling me they would send it to me right away. Another star off for making me call and email them 7 or 8 times, telling me each time that they would send me the documentation and never doing it ... just tell me you don't want to (or that you can't) send it, please don't make me keep calling and wasting time like a schmuck. I'll leave it at 3 stars since Gabe, the one that always answered the phone was always pleasant, even though he never actually sent the documents he promised nor ever called back to say why not. Crossing my fingers their work is good long-term and not as leaky as promises and customer service seem to be, post-pandemic. read more

Trustworthy, reliable, and responsive. I got a quick response from them and was able to get the job done promptly. JOB DETAILS: I bought a new washing machine, but they're so bulky these days that it wouldn't fit into the existing space, so I needed to move the drain pipe over a few inches. Also, the new washing machine was giving me a water pressure error message, so I wanted to have a plumber check it out, especially since the washing machine was sharing the same water line as the sink, toilet, and shower. Cosio's was able to reposition the drain pipe with no problem. They checked the water pressure, and it was coming out nice and strong, but I was considering upgrading the pipes anyway to give the washer its own line. Later that day, the store where I bought the washer confirmed that it was not a water pressure issue, but a defective washing machine. As a result, Cosio's advised me that I didn't need to upgrade the pipes, so I just had them replace the hot/cold faucets, which were corroded and leaking. I appreciated how Cosio's didn't try to sell me on an upgrade that I didn't need, so I would trust them on future jobs as well. read more

So you know how it goes.....it's a Sunday and the plumbing goes to crap. Why always on a day when you can't get anyone. Oh you read their profile and they "claim" to respond "anytime". But after calling a couple of guys.....it's just not true. I like to support local businesses so I wanted a Burbank plumber.....finally ONE guy picked up.....Gabriel the owner of Cosio's Plumbing & Rooter. He was real nice....didn't sound rushed or like I was bothering him. I told him we had some leaking issues with our restroom sinks. He came by the very next morning not only on time.....but EARLY! He diagnosed the problem and later that day he sent his guy Carlos to fix our leaks and put in new faucets that we purchased. Carlos was really friendly, professional and did a great job. We have other issues with our plumbing that need to be fixed and we will definitely use Gabriel. He always gives you the option to buy your own stuff to save a few bucks.....but he can do it all. Gabriel agreed to do a job for me at a rental property. We discovered a water leak that needed to be addressed immediately. He gave me a bid, had a handshake agreement and he agreed to start the next morning at 8 am. I had to tell the tenants that they would probably lose water service for a couple of hours. At 6 am on the day of the job, he texts me and tells me he needs half up front, as a deposit. Fine I say, send me your venmo account info. An hour and a half later, he sends me one, for his girlfriend presumably. Fine. When I didn't address immediately (had been waiting and waiting, finally had to take my kid to school), he sends me a text saying, hey, where's the money? I attempt to send him payment, about 15 minutes after he sends me his account info, but venmo limits the amount I can send. Not an issue on my end, but a limit on his private account. I let him know this and tell him that my handyman can front the money for the rest of the deposit when he arrives on the job. Next thing I know, he sends money back and says he no longer wants to do the job, good luck. I try to call, but he doesn't pick up. Very frustrated with his unprofessional approach. I cannot say enough positive things about Gabriel and his guys. If there were 50 stars it wouldn't be enough! I had a leak I couldn't find and a skyrocketing water bill. I could hear the sound of water but couldn't find it. Literally within 5 min, Gabriel and Junior found it and told me not only was it fixable but the job wouldn't be as challenging as I was afraid it would be. Mind you, this is on a SATURDAY morning after just messaging him on Yelp on Friday night around 7:30pm.
