After 2 years of doing research for a reliable and respectful cosmetic surgeon to perform a lower blehp procedure, I decided to proceed with CSA and Dr. Magge. Based on photos of his prior patients, I found his work to be exactly what I was looking for and after our in-person meeting, I did feel comfortable to proceed. I had the procedure done in the beginning of October, the recovery process was much more intense than I had thought. A week after my procedure, I had a follow-up check up, after waking up at 4:00am and driving 3 hours, Dr. Magge did not meet with me, his assistant did. Had I known that would be the case, I would have done a video conference call. She said everything looked fine. After 3 weeks, I still had severe bruising and was swollen. I also noticed one of my eyes were droopy and it was the opposite eye of my eye that actually did droop all of my life. I called the office to ask if the healing process was normal and they said it was. When I mentioned it to the assistant, she had mentioned a "push-up" method but said Dr. Magge would let me know if I should try and he never did. Also, there is a scar of when he did the procedure, not on my eyelid but underneath. I have been using scar medication every day for 2 months to try and make it less visible. The scars are not horrible but def. noticeable. It's a 'light' noticable line scarring under the eyes. They were supposed to reach out after 3 months to see if extra fat graphing was needed or any revisions and have yet to hear back. They never reached out to see if i was okay or even satisfied w/ the work done AFTER I was fully healed. My eyelid healed with a funny shape. The pinch method only seem to work on one eye hence the drooping lower eyelid. I feel I need to wear eyelash extensions all the time so my eyes look even. I do believe in the future I will need a revision. I am disappointed, I had hoped this practice would have been what I had needed to assist with this issue that had bothered me for so long. I wished they had been more comforting and had followed-up. Unfortunately I do not recommend this practice for eyelid procedures. However Megan Love is awesome! Where do I start? Cosmetic Surgery Associates gets more than 5 stars from me! I went in for a consultation earlier this year wanting to get lipo done on my belly area (thinking that would take away the belly bulge I've had since having my son 13 years ago). When I went into the office, Dr. Magge informed me that lipo would not be the best option due to my muscles separating from my C-Section. He explained everything in a way that was easy to understand and recommended that I get a Tummy Tuck w/ Muscle Tightening. Although I was heartbroken, my husband and I buckled down and saved up so I could get make it happen and on 12/11/2020, I had my procedure done. I was assigned to a Patient Coordinator and Pre-Op/Post-Op nurse - and OMG they were so amazing! The entire staff made me feel super comfortable and they were so patient with me. It was such a relief to know that I had someone I could reach out to - no matter the time - to ask any questions I had. It's been a few weeks since my surgery and the recovery process has been sooo wonderful. Dr. Magge was my surgeon and he is just the nicest doctor I think I have ever dealt with. On the day of my surgery, every single person that was in the operating room made me feel so special! I will NEVER forget them! They are extremely organized and will give you a folder will all the instructions you will need to prep for and recover from your procedure. I've done a capsulorrhaphy procedure with Dr. Richards in September 2018 and can't thank him and his team enough for my overall care, and most importantly, for my final results. I had done breast exchange prior to this surgery and ended up developing a deformity known as bottoming out. I was devastated and didn't know what to expect from a revision. But thankfully I was in the hands of the best surgeon I could ever imagine for that procedure, so everything worked our wonderfully and my results were beyond my expectations (back then and also today, 4 years later). leaving one star because my boob shape is cute but i had the most hellish experience with my boob lift. i genuinely don't leave reviews frequently but this was so frustrating i need to share the surgery went well at first, the shape looked very cute and i was so excited. but during my weekly check-ins i was experiencing wound separation and eventually wound infection, and despite consistently raising concerns, i kept being told that "this is normal" "it has to get worse before getting better" etc. it wasn't until a full month later and bringing an outside party that they finally admitted there was an issue and decided to tend to it. after ~4 months of waiting for the infection to go away and for the gigantic open wound (a considerable portion of my breast surface area) to close, they kindly did a scar revision for me but the scars still look terrible and large (although admittedly smaller than before) and i was told to just "wait" and that "it would take time for the scars to settle and look better" over a year later and almost $10k sunk into this surgery, my boobs still look ugly. which sucks because they could've just looked ugly for free TLDR: i felt like my concerns weren't properly listened to; i went through an absolutely hellish healing process.; AND my boobs are still ugly after spending a sh*t ton of money :,) read more

I would give a zero if I could. Tried to schedule a consult - first it took several weeks for a response from the online contact form. Spoke to someone last week and said I'd call back after researching the Dr. I wanted to go with. Returned a phone call that was received today and the staff on the other end of the call tried to 'scold' me for having missed the call and not listened to the message and after multiple back and forth, could barely get answers to questions I asked, staff was non personable and extremely rude. I made the mistake of calling back to speak with the supervisor who had left the message to report the situation. I would be very careful working with this office as it appears they have other staff members listening to your call without your consent. It's no wonder they need to have ongoing 'deals' to attract customers. read more

DO NOT LET THESE POSITIVE REVIEWS FOOL YOU!! The plastic surgeons that work here may be amazing at other cosmetic procedures (i.e. Breast & Butt Augmentation, liposuction etc.,) but if you are going to them for lower eye bag removal (lower blepharoplasty) via the pinch technique. be warned u are taking a chance at ruining your lower eyes w/ noticable line scars. I'm writing this in the hope that i can save someone and make them think twice and get a second opinion when considering lower eye bleph w/ this company. These guys are recommended as 'Top Doctors' but its all just good marketing. they are AVERAGE-AT-BEST at doing lower eye/bleph pinch work. im not saying that they don't have satisifed bleph clients but the Surgeon I worked with was either just CARELESS when working on me or does not have the proper training in doing lower eye bleph work via The Pinch Technique to avoid problems. if you go to them u are rolling the dice. to be more specific My surgeon was Dr. Keshav Magge. I initially requested Transconjunctival with the patient coordinator because its a scarless option but he Patient Coordinator suggested i get 'pinch' for my lower eye bags because i have loose under eye skin and doing only transcon could leave me w/ droopy eyes. Having said that, I just put my trust in them. Bottom line Dr. Magge cut too low when making the incisions instead of making the incisions on the tip of my eye lids like other oculofacial surgeons do. now that i understand the process better, i now understand where Dr. Magge screwed up. when doing pinch technique and doing the cutting a 'curved' instrument is needed. Magge is apparently notorious for cutting 'straight' w/ a straight instrument. as a result of Dr. Magge's carelessness.. i have noticeable line scars under my eyes. I'm lucky & THANKFUL because atleast the scars I have today are not HORRIFIC and BOTCHED looking and can be improved. its more like 'light' noticable line scarring under my eyes but if I knew what i know now, I would've went to a surgeon that strictly does eye work. COSMETIC SURGERY ASSOCIATES does all kinds of procedures. Lower Bleph/pinch work is not their strong point. COSMETIC SURGERY ASSOCIATES never reached out to me to see if i was okay or even satisfied w/ the work done after it was all over and i was fully healed. When I reached out to them to ask why i had 'line' scars under my eyes afterward - The Patient Coordiantor scheduled a video conference call for me w/ Dr. Magge via Whatsapp which i found odd because you would think they would have me actually physically come in. but i guess the doctors and patient coordinators use this tactic when they sense the client is not happy? Maybe they know they suck doing bleph/pinch work and want to protect themselves? not sure. basically Magge tried to convince me during the call "hey you look fine!" when i sent him closeup pics of my scars he said "hey that's a Perfect Scar!' then when i asked about why some of the scar skin is a little hypopigmented he mentioned 'well i could bring you in and do a re-suture" - and thats when i got really frightened and realized i made a HUGE mistake. As of right now I have consulted w/ Oculoplastic surgeons in New York, Los Angeles, Florida and Washington D.C. and they all agreed that Dr. Keshav Magee screwed up due to cutting too low when doing the pinch incisions on me. One oculofacial Surgeon i met recently is familiar with Dr. Magge and COSMETIC SURGERY ASSOCIATES and confirmed 2 me that its an open secret that they do bad bleph/pinch work on the lower eyes!!! but u wouldn't know it because they have good marketing. I'm lucky because atleast my scars aren't horrific looking. But i have a feeling other clients haven't been so lucky !!!. if knew what i know now i would just deal w/ having under eye bags that i originally had or go to someone who has the proper training. i'm considering working w/ someone to do a revision and so I have hope now and a possible solution to my problem! in conclusion avoid these guys if you have under eye bags and if you do visit them and they recommend 'pinch' .. run away quickly!!! So, this is my second time seeing Dr Jabs. I also took my husband to him for a procedure last summer. I absolutely love coming to this office, everyone is just so great to deal with. The first time I saw him, he did explants of my 10 yr old breast implants and replaced them with new implants and then did some upper back lipo at the same time. This visit, 4 and a half years later, was for my facelift. Though I'm only 44, my lower face was really starting to hang. I had joweling already. So I scheduled an appt for both me AND my mom! We both got face lifts, a week apart, so we recovered together. We both had entirely pain free recovery, basically only experience tolerable discomfort. I am barely 3 and a half weeks post op, and I am already sharing photos with friends and family. Everyone is as amazed as I am- I mean, it's truly amazing. I look like I'm 10 years younger already, and I'm not even fully healed-Dr Jabs has magic hands!!!! His suturing is unbelievable. The way he did the stitching around my ears is truly remarkable. When I am healed, you aren't going to see even a trace of scarring. It's WILD how amazing this is already. And my mom is in the same boat. We both look so natural, and so UNoperated on! My dad was so nervous about her doing this- I mean, they've been together almost 50 years so he was so scared that she'd look weird or bad or just plain not like herself! Understandably. So his reaction has been so awesome to see! It's still totally his wife, just about 15 years younger! My husband was also trepidatious, but he is also over the moon that I look so normal and so much like myself. Facelift surgery is maybe the scariest of all plastic surgery's, in my opinion. So thank god I had the confidence in Dr Jabs that I did, or else I don't know that I could have gone through with it. And when I had any questions about anything at all, I had the BEST contact person at the office, his surgical coordinator Joanne. She couldn't possibly have helped me feel more at ease, truly. And then, at the scariest point, the day of surgery, when your face is all marked up and it's go-time, and your heart is pounding, I had the BEST nurse ever, her name is Joy!!! My mom had her too, which made me so happy. She basically took away all the fear with her warmth and her words and just her general demeanor- the perfect person to walk into surgery with. To conclude, if you are considering a face lift, THIS IS YOUR GUY! LOOK NO FURTHER. If you don't live near him, I promise you that he is worth traveling for. Writing this review was difficult for many reasons. One bc I can't find the words to express gratitude for my plastic surgeon and two I don't think that this review would do justice but I will try! I was Dx with breast cancer this summer past which was very unexpected and all within the same week I found out I had to have mastectomy. Still trying to come to terms with everything that was happening bc it was happening very fast, I now had to find a plastic surgeon that would hold my hand and take this journey with me. I had several to choose from but I opted out from the selection of business cards and received a recommendation from my surgeon. Within 48 hours I was off to see the wonderful Dr.Magge !! From the moment I walked into the office they took hold of my hand and took that walk with me from Front desk staff to the pro-op nurse to the young ladies doing my prior authorizations. They became my family and my friends. Dr.Magge never left any questions unanswered he never rushed this man understood. There were days I was scared and wanted to cry but the compassion I received I will forever be grateful. I can clearly remember each time I was preparing for surgery I wasn't comfortable until I saw MY plastic surgeon. He was actually the first voice I heard after my final surgery.. lol My fiancé and I talk about him all the time, he became my family I saw him on a weekly basis for months. No idea why I waited so long, but if holding out resulted in me meeting Dr. Magge, I'll consider it serendipitous! About a year ago, I researched every abdominoplasty surgeon I could find in the tristate area, went on several consultations and read a novel's worth of cosmetic surgery reviews. Fast forward to present day, I landed on Dr. Magge because I was able to check every box that would make me feel comfortable moving forward with my surgery. I had a liposuction procedure with Dr. Richards, and was very pleased with my results. However, when I was taken back to the surgical/operating room with 2 female medical associates, I was quite surprised at the lack of attention to my care, as they engaged in conversations with each other, about a potential ski trip to the French Alps, with little attention to my care. There was a complete lack of concern regarding my comfort or understanding about my aftercare and my procedure. My sister, who is a nurse, picked me up and brought me home. I could barely walk or stand to get out of the car, and she stated that they clearly discharged me before I was ready. read more

I would give a zero if I could. Tried to schedule a consult today. I had Neck lifting 5 weeks ago in deferent country. My surgeon highly recommended to find a Doctor and do all follow-ups with him if any questions or concerns. I have big concern now: platysma muscles are in tension and it is very painful, I had a video call with my doctor and he suggested to see a Surgeon and have a Botox in platysma. But all doctors in Cosmetic Surgery Associates refused to see me . Can you believe it ? I need Doctor help and doctor refuse to see patient. Unbelievable.... I had never faced it before. They said : they can see me in 3 months only - it is normal first follow up appointment after surgery. Seriously? There tons of reasons why patient need to see a doctor earlier. I visited Cosmetic Surgery Associates 18 months ago. Happy with the service, I made a follow up appointment with Cissy. Due to unforeseen bad weather the night before my appointment, however schools were closed and I was forced to cancel. I called first thing, but was told there would be a $100 charge for the missed appointment of which I should have been informed when I made the appointment. I shared with Cissy that I understood and respected the value of her time, but felt the charge was unfair given the fact that the weather and closed schools were beyond my control. I also informed her that I had not been told about the missed appointment charge. She assured me that there would be no charge. I called back a couple of days later and made an appointment. Shortly thereafter, the receptionist called back and said there would be a $100 charge for the previous missed appointment. I told her this must be a mistake, since Cissy assured me that there would not be a charge. By the way, there was no mention of the $100 missed appointment charge when I called back to make the follow up appointment either. I was surprised at the lack of professionalism and understanding of customer service. I was not informed of the missed appointment charge at any time - when I made my first appointment, the missed appointment nor the follow-up. Perhaps most importantly, Cissy assured me there would be no charge, then deceptively levied one anyway. And yes, things do happen beyond one's control. Levying a significant penalty that a customer has not been informed of due to circumstances beyond their control is not good customer service. Missy could use a refresher course. Hopefully her supervisors will speak with her and avoid losing additional business due to her questionable business practices. I will be spending my money elsewhere. read more

Dr. Magge seems to care for his patients, though my concerns seemed to fall on deaf ears or he is powerless to make process improvements at this practice - which would be troubling in and of itself. After the first procedure (during post operative care) my wife was throwing up, couldn't keep her head up, barely recognized voice commands and could not stand (much less walk) on her own. Yet they discharged her......I had to intervene and they then kept her for another hour and a half - she threw up several times during this even after they gave her medicine (both orally and via a shot) for nausea. After an the hour and a half, I consented to attempt to get her in the vehicle. Once in the vehicle (mind you, an hour and a half after they tried to discharge her....and it took both the nurse and I helping her still....to get in the vehicle) she threw up in the car - luckily we had a bag for her so it didn't get everywhere in the vehicle. Wasn't very happy, never seen a medical practice in such a hurry to get patients out. Nurse was in a hurry as she had a ride coming to pick her up and she was late.....wasn't happy she had to stay. Fast forward about six months..... Wife went in for touch up to the original procedure as she was not happy with initial results......Did they listen to me the first time.....don't think so as they tried to discharge her once again when she couldn't hold her head up, knees buckled twice (yes, twice) when trying to get her in our vehicle and she would have fallen if I hadn't been there..... Went back in and waited a bit over an hour this time. Once again had to have a discussion with the nurse (different nurse this time - much nicer than the first) and the Dr. as to why they try to discharge the patients when they can't hold their heads up, can't walk even assisted, much less climb into a vehicle. Excuses fly but the reality is that it was/is very unsafe for the patients at the very least - perhaps even putting them in unsafe situations on the trip home. Seems like they are waiting for someone to get seriously injured from their policies before making any changes as they have not acted on my concerns. At the very least, they should have been a bit extra careful with my wife considering what happened after the first surgery....but no....seems pretty disrespectful to patients in general but definitely for my wife as they didn't take what happened the first time into consideration (given the actions taken). Highly disappointed in their post operative care and discharge procedures. read more

I originally went to see Dr. Magge about having a rhinoplasty done. He was very friendly, easy to talk to and extremely professional. The staff at the practice are also phenomenal. I ended up deciding to wait on the rhinoplasty because I had gotten approval to have weight loss surgery. Instead I had him perform a chin liposuction on me. I am now about 4 weeks post op and the results are fantastic! The procedure itself was fairly painless and took very little time. My recovery was easy and the healing process is going very well. I am now looking at having breast lift with augmentation and a thigh lift to be done by Dr. Magge when I get down to my goal weight. I cant't wait! I highly recommend him! read more

I went to this business to get the Kybella shot last December. The treatment caused a serious inflammation and the treated area was swollen for 5 months. This all 5 months I went with scrafs to cover the "turkey neck" the treatment created. I contacted at least three times the technician who applied the treatment in the first two months after the treatment and she kept saying to me to massage the neck and sometimes it just takes time, even though for what I read it should have taken a month top! After 4 months of feeling terrible about my swollen neck, I set an appointment with the technician to show her. She looked concerned about the result of the treatment, I obviously had a scar tissue as a result of her treatment, and my neck looked much worst than before I got the treatment. She applied steroid shots to the area which were supposed to take down the swollen area. I talked to the women one more time few days later after I did not see results, and she agreed to give me another kybella shots free of charge. Few days laterI went back super scared to get the free Kybella shots, but after 5 plus !!! months finally my neck starts looking better, still not better than what it looked before I wasted $749. As soon as she saw an improvement in my neck she decided she will charge me if I get the Kybella shots and she will not going to give it to me free even though she agreed to that already. After I have been through HELL!!! for the last 5 plus months she finally agree to compensate me by doing another treatment, then when I am there she refused!!! What kind of unethical business is that? Needless to say I will not go back to this place and I like to get a refund on this treatment since the whole experience was a total nightmare! I chose Dr. Magge from 3-4 other cosmetic surgeons I met with bc of his caring and genuine interest. The end result after reviewing six month pictures could not be more striking. I booked an appt. for botox that I got from living social. I requested when I made the appt. that a doctor do it and not a nurse. After waiting an hour in the waiting room I was finally called back. They kept saying I could go back once a room opend up though many clients were leaving one after the other. A nurse came in ready to botox me and I said, "I had asked for a doctor". She looked completely annoyed .Then, the doctor came in, barely said hi to me, gave me the shots and literally said nothing the whole time.
