They use Boar's head deli meats and that pleased me very much. Squaw was my choice of bread with all the condiments and paid extra for cheese. The sandwich was quickly made and professionally done. The sandwich was enjoyed but I prefer hot sandwiches. I did like the packaging of the sandwich, complete with the Boars Head seal on the paper. Overall I would say that it was better than subway and would chose it over the likes of subway any day. The store's location is good but the decor is a bit dive-ish. The staff is five star but all I asked for was a sandwich. They sell a variety of liquors here but since I don't drink I can not say what is its quality.

I have heard of this place for years and finally tried it out. The service is great and was impressed with the overall cleanliness. The breakfast burrito was average sized at a decent price. During the wait time, I perused the wine selection, and, while I don't know much about wine, it seemed like a great selection at a glance. I guess they also operate as a wine bar in the evening hours, because there was seating and in the place. Anyways, onto the burrito itself. It came with thick bacon, which I like, eggs, cheese, and tater tots. A simple, but tried and true method. I thought it was alright. It was acceptable for a breakfast burrito, and i thought the portion was reasonable. It didn't wow me, so it doesn't go higher on the rating. However, let's talk the salsa. I actually really enjoyed the salsa from here. Both the green and red were delicious, and it made the whole meal. The green was a creamy avocado (not spicy) that was rich and vegetal, and the red was a pretty spicy fresh-tasting one. I was meh on the burrito, but saved by the salsa for sure. From here, there are no favorites placed in order, other than my comments. DAVE is always interesting to talk with, if you can catch him. I think he's related to the gazelle, or they are related to him, but he is very funny, has a great sense of humor and is very affable. Geoff is 10 years my senior, but so wise, I think God calls on him for advice. Other David is also very affable, with the people who get time to know him. He's genuine, just like the rest. Matt has a very difficult time not running to the cooler to get me my favorite beer, Tiger's Milk, and have it ready to pay for by the time I yap at everybody else. He's a gracious gentleman, works way harder than I do, and sadly has been bequeathed with so much good hair, that it would be the only reason I don't go to Bevmo anymore. Nothing to do with him, it's my own professional jealousy. I see Tim constantly working hard and is a very fine soul... I do miss Angie and Dale... I used to want to apply for a job there at Bevmo Laguna Niguel, but maybe that's the secret. Maybe the reason they're so special is because they don't have to tolerate me being there every day...

My husband casually mentioned he was trying to find some for his sick wife, me. Without hesitation, the man said, "Wait a minute," ran to the back office, and gave my husband several tea bags and, "These are from my personal stash, please take them." It may seem like a small gesture, but in that moment it meant everything. That kind of kindness, generosity, and genuine care for another human being is rare these days, and it truly touched my heart. Because of this extraordinary act, we will never shop anywhere else. Gateway isn't just a liquor store, a place run by people who truly care. I felt compelled to share this with the community Gateway is a family-owned business, and moments like this are exactly why our local community should get behind small businesses like theirs. With rising costs of goods, rent, and operating expenses, family-run stores aren't popping up everywhere anymore and when you find one run by people with this level of compassion and integrity, they deserve our support. The isles, they are clean and roomy. There was a gentleman employee who saw me searching for an item, asked me if I need assistance. I told them that I was looking for the Laura Scutters green onion potato chip mix, and he accompanied me to the actual product location. And also two other items I've been searching for. I can't remember his name, I did tell the front manager, how helpful was. Another nice person working there was Anthony in the meat department. This store is very close to leisure world, Laguna Woods, and this was the best Stater Brothers I personally have ever been to. And I'm talking about EVER. The prices are better than most grocery stores, and at this location there's a large selection of bakery items, you name it everything you'd want to find in a grocery store. I think for now on I'm going to drive over here to this location even though it's not the closest one to me!
