Very satisfied with the service at Cosmo. I dropped my S3 friday night. When I heard it hit the floor and then saw it face down I knew it was going to be bad. The top right side was shattered. Thankfully it was only the glass and not the actual screen. After moping around about my first cracked phone I found Cosmo on yelp. I called late Saturday and got a price on the replacement and was even offered to make an appointment. I brought my phone in on Sunday afternoon. The store is nice, clean, and spacious. Cosmo HOOKED ME UP TODAY & I couldn't be more happy with my experience. I damage my screen to my Galaxy S 2. I searched & asked for rates at other local screen fixing companies like "Ubreak We Fix" & it would of cost me $150 for my screen PLUS a 3-4 wait to get my phone repaired & returned to me which is a HUG inconvenience for me since I am self employed & have clients who call me during any day of the week. I dropped my iPad mini a couple weeks ago and I was SO PISSED. I searched around for places that fix it and everywhere I called said they couldn't (ok, two places and a Guatemalan guy at work). Really disappointed in the service I received today. I got my iPhone 11 Pro Max screen fixed about 2 or 3 weeks ago. The phone screen is not cracked it's in a safe case and there's no damage to the screen what's so ever. Last week my phone started to glitch getting discolored but quick glitches nothing that stayed permanently. I called Friday I explained the issue I had been having and was told that I could bring it in Monday to get a new screen under warranty. Monday came along and my phone screen worked until around 5 pm and the screen completely blacked out. The vibration was still working so I knew it was the screen. I called in Monday explained what happened and brought the phone today. I was told because of the fact my screen protector was chipped at the end was because I dropped the phone so it's no longer Under warranty. I pick at my screen protectors all the time I had no idea that would make it an issue for warranty. AGAIN THE SCREEN ITSELF IS NOT CRACKED AND I CALLED IN ADVANCE TO TELL THEM ABOUT THE GLITCH! The guy there told me that he can take my phone apart and see if there's anything wrong inside. So I let him and he told me a screw is loose inside that connects the LCD component. He said that's because I dropped it so he can't give me a replacement screen. Which makes no sense at all because I've been very careful with my phone since the initial drop that made me get my screen fixed in the first place. How is it my fault that a screw is loose inside when I've never touched anything inside. So he brings the phone back and says the screen is fixed and that he screwed the screws in tightly so there should be no more issues. I leave back to work and I get on my phone and the phone is still glitching even worse than before. He can't help me until Monday now because the manager is not there till then. If my phone blacks out again then what do I do!?!?! How's this my fault!? I don't want to spend more money for something that's not my fault also I want to know exactly what's going on. Hope I'm not the only one with this problem because this is absolutely ridiculous. I need the warranty especially if there's something internally going on because I can't do anything internally to damage the phone. Never had a problem now I'm having non stop issues. I'm a 2 time Cosmo customer and will return. The owner takes a personal interest in insuring customer satisfaction, which is rare these days. Cosmo replaced my broken screen in Aug, and it worked like a champ. After I managed to crack it again in July I took it back for another fix. Quick and easy, and I was out in the time it took to get a coffee at the nearby Starbucks. Unfortunately, my battery had expanded to the point that the new screen cracked in a matter of days. I Shattered my Galaxy S4 several weeks ago, and i just returned from a three week trip abroad so the first thing i did was get my screen replaced. Every single other place i called refused to replace ONLY the glass. They insisted they replace both glass AND lcd screen for about $250. I called COSMO and on the spot they quoted me a price for $89.99 for just the glass. I was ecstatic and headed over there within two hours. Upon inspection, Ben, the manager, warned me about the possibility of damage to the LCD during the replacement of the glass, which would be about $240 to fix. I uneasily agreed but hoped it would all go well. Within three hours, my phone was fixed, and the repair was only $89. Clearly their technicians were very skilled and were able to fix my phone no problem. I was amazed at the speed and quality of service i received. Will return when i need any more phone repairs. Do not buy accessories here unless you are absolutely sure nothing can go wrong with them. I stopped by the other week to ask about my data port, and instead of getting it fixed, which would have taken too long, the guy suggested I get an external charger. I asked whether it would work with my battery, and he said yes. When I got it back home, the charger wouldn't work with my battery, so I went back to return it. They said that all sales were final, even though I explained that the guy said it would work and it didn't (the battery kept falling out). They insisted it "should" work. Granted, they sent me off with a different one of the same model, but then when I looked carefully at the charger (which had no documentation because it was in a box for a different item), the charger's voltage range is outside the range of my battery. I really should have known that something was up when the guy said that it worked with all batteries. Lesson learned, and I will not return. They were very friendly, but in the end I felt that it was just a plot to cheat me into buying a useless device. read more

When the charging port on my Samsung S4 decided to call it quits, I turned to Yelp to help me out. Cosmo is really close to my house so I phoned them on a Sunday and they said I could come in same day and have it replaced. The staff was really friendly and I was in and out of there in less than an hour for around $70. The charger was working perfect when we plugged it in in the store, but when I got home I was bummed to see my phone was again not recognizing a charge when I plugged it it. My phone charger is brand new (ok, one week old...) so I knew it wasn't my charger BUT I tried my sister's and my mom's just to be sure and of course it didn't work with any of them=(. I ended up taking the battery out and putting it back in and it worked perfectly fine except for the occasional "unplugged, plugged back in 1 second later" sound. I also noticed that my phone was charging SUUUUUUUUUPER slow which it had never ever done before. The next day I again had to take the battery out and put it back in for the phone to work so I decided to take it back in ($70 is a lot for a not fully fixed phone!). The staff was still super nice but the associate kept telling me it was my charging cable because it was working there in the store. I kept telling him I used three different cables and the only reason it worked was because I took out the battery. He said he would replace the part again since it has a warranty but he was pretty positive it was my cable (but again, I'm sure it wasnt!). I was again out in under 40 minutes and on my merry way... but theeeen I got home and my mic didn't work! So, the next day, I was back to Cosmo! This time, I was helped by the manager (I'm pretty sure his name was John!) And oh my heavens my phone is fixed! Charges perfect with no interruptions or indications it's being unplugged then replugged, it's back to charging quickly, and my mic is back is working order! I wish I would have had his help from the beginning to avoid going back and forth but I'm glad they honored the work they did and got my phone working again for me! read more
