This review is long overdue. But I haven't forgotten the awesome work Cosmo did on my son's iPad so I must do my review. My three year old dropped his iPad multiple times but this time it dropped face down causing it to crack the screen. There was also an edge on the iPad that got damaged that needed to be repaired. I found a deal on groupon and was about to purchase it. But before purchasing, I called Cosmo cause I had a few questions and they said they would honor the groupon without me having to get it. I thought great! So I went in, they assessed the damage and fixed it up very well. On top of that, they put on a tempered shatter/crack proof glass and recommended a hard case, which I did purchase all at a very good price. Paul is the young man that did the repair. He was so kind and knowledgeable, showing me the inner workings of the iPad. 5/21/17 - My dad went here to get his iPad 3rd generation screen fixed after it broke. At first it seemed alright, since my dad never said anything about it. I later find out that his iPad has been ghosting letters ever since the repair, meaning that random letters will start typing and the keyboard will appear out of nowhere and type. I read online that you could factory reset your iPad and it may help with the ghosting. I have done so and it now doesn't have ghosting but in fact has several dead spots in the middle. I went to the Apple store to diagnose if it's a digitizer problem and they said it's the bad screen repair that is making it like this. Apple can't do anything for me because the screen isn't Apple certified. I don't know how long this warranty lasts since my dad doesn't know where his receipt is, but I wanted to leave this review for others. --------- 5/21/17 Update: The owner said I could come in and get it assessed free of charge so I took him up on it a few hours later. They honored the warranty even though I lost my receipt and replaced my screen free of charge and now it seems like it's working fine. They couldn't find what was wrong with it originally but a replaced screen seemed to do the trick. read more

I called ahead to inquire about pricing regarding a cracked screen on a mini iPad and it seemed reasonable so on my way out I decided to also grab my dated and broken iPad 2 to inquire about pricing on that screen too. Phone wouldn't turn on and vibrated every 3 seconds. I went to many other phone shops and they could not even repair my power button. These guys did a great job and they took care of it in an hour! Such a bad experience! Go to APPLE! This place could not fix my iPhone 7, didn't have my original screen so apple charged me when it could have been for Free! I literally went to this repair shop 6 times and they left me with an after market screen with shitty resolution and my home button had a micro tear in the wire probably when they were trying to fix it over and over. I'm so sad that I didn't know my phone was under warranty! DO NOT GO HERE!!! If I could give them no stars I would. They replaced my screen and five days later the screen went black and wouldn't turn on. I had to go to the Apple Store and buy a whole new phone. I then went back to Cosmo to try to get my money back and they absolutely refused and denied they had any correlation to the break. The associate I talked to as well was rude and snappy. He blamed Apple for the phone breaking even tho it had been working perfectly fine for 8 months and suddenly broke after they "fixed" my phone. The staff at Cosmos offers terrible customer service and have shown that they are inadequate at their job. They don't take responsibility for any mistakes they make and gave back the phone in a more terrible condition than what was given. Brought in my iPad mini after I had cracked the screen. Price was half of what apple would have charged me. They replaced the screen, and when the replacement screen was not up to their standards, they called me to ask me if it was OK if it would take a couple of days instead of being ready the same day. They cave me a discount for that too! Another plus was, if I had done the repair at apple, they would have exchanged my unit with a remanufactured one, and I would have to had to install all the app's and settings anew and deal with having to change out the SIM card. Honestly I have a problem with breaking phones, and Cosmo was my long lost solution to my problem. I had went to a few other places for repairs before going to Cosmo and I always would wonder why it's so expensive to replace a screen. With Cosmo repair they order all OEM parts and the staff is highly trained for any kind of repairs. This review is kind of over due but I have gotten my iPad mini fixed, which took an hour. I have gotten an iphone 4 and 5s repaired from them as well. I have never gone back with a complain to this place and not a single person that I have sent has been disappointed. These guys are my heros!!! My 2011 Android cell phone died and I thought I lost all my data, contacts and pics. ATT wanted me to do a master reset (which would ensure loss of all my stuff on the phone). Best Buy wanted to sell me a new phone.
