For anyone considering this repair shop - THINK TWICE! I have been a YELP lurker for 10 years and wrote this because of my horrible experience last week! Company now has poor customer experience. 1) No receipt/terms were issued to me, 2) company broke my phone and did not admit fault, and 3) did not try to remedy the situation when I spoke to a manager. Service tech did not issue a receipt or contract when I dropped off my Samsung Galaxy S6 phone to switch out a battery ($50) on a weekday in normal business hours. Nothing else was wrong with the phone besides an out of charge battery (which could be tested by plugging into a charger). I provided a top-of-line battery bought on Amazon. Tech did not conduct a diagnostic on the device and agreed to a simple battery switch. I returned in 20 minutes to pickup like the tech suggested and the phone was still not ready. When I returned a second time to pick up the phone, tech now said the LCD was broken as well and the company could fix for me at LCD parts cost ($125) minus cost of battery switch ($50) (suspicious if the company claims they did not do anything wrong?). I confirmed verbally with the tech that she did not conduct a diagnostic on the out of charge phone when I dropped off. She LATER claimed the phone was DOA - in the electronics industry this means Defective on Arrival, which she DID NOT TEST FOR on drop off. DOA is distinctly different from an out of charge device. After several hours and then days, the manager, Jessica has not tried to take care of my request to pay for the damage that Cosmo Repair did to my phone. I provided my phone # twice and had to call back several times to follow-up. I challenge you to read reviews by date, and notice recent reviews are very negative. Jessica and Ariel (tech) have been polite, but have failed in terms of technical skill and customer experience. read more

While I was on my way to catch a movie I noticed a sign outside saying "we fix everything" as I walked in I was immediately greeted by Jessica. She was wonderful and knowledgeable. She told me not to worry that she could fix my screen for my iPhone 7 Plus. She explained that it would only take 30 minutes and it would only cost me $160 when I got the phone back it was looking brand-new!!! She even told me how to take care of it to prevent future accidents. I will be referring my friends and family to them so they can have a lovely experience like I did!!! read more

I would give it 6 stars if I could. First of all, they were the only people with any non-sketchy phone presence that I called. I called around to about 5 different places all over LA getting price quotes, and every time, the phone either rang and rang or some aggressive dude would answer the phone and throw out numbers like $250 for phone screen repair. Cosmo not only set an appointment with me but gave me a reasonable window within which I could expect results, and quoted me a wonderfully fair price. When I got to Cosmo on the day of my appt, a gentleman named Ben helped me. Not only did he fix my screen in under 3 hours, but also, he fixed another problem with my phone free of charge, a goodwill gesture. I searched for PS3 repair shops near my area and COSMO was the first to come up, and thankfully it was nearby. My ps3 would sporadically not read my game discs where I would insert the game and all I would hear was an ejecting sound except it did not eject and it did not load--AT ALL. The only time I could get it to work was by shaking the entire console until the disc would appear in the menu. It was always a hit or miss. Therefore, I brought it in one day, received a warm welcome by the staff, and a good soul, George took care of the problem. He opened up my ps3, found out that it was the blu-ray lens within the optical drive and had it shipped in and replaced in a jiffy--all for $119 including tax and 5% discount each from checking in on yelp and liking cosmo repair on Facebook. Came in to get my iPhone 6 Plus screen replaced since it had a series of spider web cracks across the bottom of the phone. Charged me a reasonable price and had it fixed in half an hour. Fully checked the phone for any other defects or damages and explained everything they were doing and how it voided apple's warranty well. Had to come back the next day since there was a smudge or blur with the front facing camera and had it perfect and ready to go in a couple minutes no problem. Brought in a phone which was having some power cycling issues. We talked about what could be wrong with it, and figured it was likely the power button. Cosmo quoted $49 if all it needed was a resoldering, and $69 if a new button was needed. Said it would take around an hour or so. Sadly, when we came back, the phone was still having the same issue. He didn't charge us for anything, and said our best bet was to try and do a factory reset on the phone. Ok... So, this would be my first review ever on help, and it's fitting that it would be for Cosmo, given the amount of occasions i've had to interact with them over the last 2 years... I'm writing this because I want all you yelpers to know about this business... These guys are legit! They are kind, understanding, patient and generous. I personally crack a lot of iPhone screens... Like 8 last year, and iPads, same story... Every employee that has helped me, has independently gone out of their way to help me out, either with a discount, a free glass protector, if I'm the last customer in the store, they've held it open to finish my phone so I had my phone that day... They have a great sense of customer service, they're so reasonable, and so on point with their skills. Just come! Came in for a cracked screen repair. They fixed the screen and put a temper glass, but the temper glass had air bubbles around the edges. They said that's how it normally comes, but they were willing to replace it anyways. 5 star for good service read more

My wife and I went in yesterday for a S6 phone case that doubles as a wallet. My wifes case is hanging on by a string.
