came here for lunch with co-workers - decently sized menu with something for just about anyone, items seemed pretty typical casual american - burgers, sandwiches, and salads with a few higher ticket items like meats, seafood, and pasta. ordered the cobb salad, which was decently sized but was just a typical salad - chicken was pretty nice but nothing else really had much flavor. service wasn't terrible but wasn't impressive either. decor reminded me of disneyland's haunted mansion complete with the dark woods and red velvet. like that it's walking distance from work with a menu that is not offensive but not a standout in any category, wouldn't come out of my way to check this place out read more

After reading some positive Yelp reviews I went there for the first time to have a drink and some food. I was going to an Escape room neaeby so we decided to kill time before that. The ambience was OK for a bar there was music and a few people dancing on the first floor. The service was good, I ordered fish tacos and they were not edible, I ended up having 2 bites and left the rest on the plate. I will not go there for food again and as far as the atmosphere it was OK but not my cup of tea. I live in the Inland Empire and it's not worth the drive. read more

I grew up in Pomona. Born and raised. Not a lot of food to consider outside of Mexican and fast food (if you haven't already, be sure to visit Los Jarritos for the best Mexican food in town). Anywho, the location was nice and clean. They have your choice of bar seating, table seating and even sofas to be comfortable on while dining. And their service! Omg Elizabeth and Omar were our servers. They were friendly, attentive, and intuitive. I asked for a substitute in my veggie tacos because I didn't want the added carbs and Omar came up with an excellent option. And when I didn't know what kind of beer to choose, Elizabeth gave me a recommendation that was so on point to my desired taste buds that it is now my new favorite IPA. All in all I will definitely be frequenting this place based on the food, THE SERVICE (A1) AND the venue. Service was atrocious, slow and disinterested. Went for lunch and had a burger. Asked for it medium but it was over cooked. Fries weren't half bad. This place needs much more attentive servers and more precise cooking. You can get better burgers at Eureka, Back Abbey, and The Whisper House. This is a not ready for prime time player. Given the price point and quality, going to Claremont is a better value. Pomona continues to suffer with restaurants that suffer from poor execution. Until they solve that riddle, their ability to draw people to the downtown area will be limited. read more

Very cool vibe. Meghan was our bartender and she is funny and sharp, plus definitely wanted to make sure we felt at home. Good food too! It has a great sports bar downstairs and an upstairs dedicated to entertainment including Karaoke and comedy shows. Garbage. Service was terrible. 2 waitresses did absolutely nothing. They need to be retrained on their customer service skills. No napkins, no silver ware BUT I guess that didn't matter because it took over 1 hour to get a burger out! Than it came out and the fries were cold... I'm always very empathetic with waitresses especially at bars because of how people can be but these 2 girls were just awful. I finally got my check and gratuity was added 18% Hahahaha are you kidding me? We had a decent size group but they just sucked. I wasn't trying to fight it tho. When in Pomona this is definitely a great place to grab a bite and a pint. Incredible draft beer selection. The food was excellent as well. I had the fish and chips which I would highly recommended. The batter was crisp and the fish white and tender. My friend had the burger and onion rings. She said the burger was very flavorful and the onion rings had a great flavor and good crunch to them. Had a groupon and finally decided to use it before it expired. Arrived to find that they only had one server and from the looks of it, no bartender. We ordered our drinks, took 17 min to get them because they had to go find someone to make them. (Pulled a server or tender from downstairs) Ordered our food finally after we got our drinks and asked for appetizer to come out before food - we were staving! And it didn't! it came out with our meals about 15 min later. The server was very composed and attentive despite her being the only one serving about 6 tables as well as the bar. Beers, great food, great service, rockin vintage architecture this place will guarantee to satisfy the soul. The quality service here gets more stars than allowed. Many restaurants forget about the customer and focus more on making that money by any means. No problem in that but quality of service seems to get put on the back burner. Not here they are on top of it all starting from the front of the house, to the Servers, the tenders, and ending at the kitchen. My favorite restaurant in POMONA!!! Glad I found this spot. Whenever I don't meal prep, I call in to order lunch. My favorite dish is the Lemon Herb Chicken and let me tell you...you must try it!!
