Went around 5PM on a Sunday. Smells terrible. Music is a jukebox, so they're not playing the sound to the Dodger game even though they are playing it. If the jukebox is not playing music, all you can hear is the clanking of pool balls and the whir of AC. TVs on the side walls are off, probably to save money on electricity. Bartender had her boyfriend keeping her company/safe so she wasn't engaging with customers. They had a TV dedicated to Keno, another to horse racing, and they sell lotto. Typical family owned bar. You will walk in finding the regulars at the bar chatting with the bartender, or the Tia with her friends. Started coming here when Covid allowed them to open. way before the penny bar top!! It's a small place with a pool table and jukebox box to play music of the bartender is not already playing country or that new rap. It's a cool place, but unless you are family/friend, or become a regular, don't be surprised if you don't get the vip treatment the people sitting at the bar stools get. We came here to watch the Super Bowl expecting a fun, inclusive atmosphere, but left feeling disappointed. During the halftime show, when Spanish music was playing, we noticed people in the bar hollering and making comments. Instead of letting the broadcast continue, the bar changed the entire channel and switched to country music. What made this especially frustrating was how it felt like the presence of other cultures in the bar was being ignored or dismissed altogether. It didn't feel like a neutral decision--it felt like an intentional choice to cater to one group while denying others the same space and respect. The vibe instantly shifted from enjoyable to uncomfortable. A bar hosting an event this big should be welcoming to everyone, not selective about which cultures are acceptable. Unfortunately, this experience came across as tone-deaf and, honestly, racist. There are plenty of better places to watch a game where everyone feels welcome. read more

I went to this bar to watch the Super Bowl, and when the halftime show started the owner switched the TVs to the toilet paper racist USA alternative show. When we asked him to switch it back he refused. We were not the only patrons wanting to see the halftime show and we were paying customers but this racist owner did not give two fucks about us. He was extremely rude and clearly racist. I regret coming here and will never come back here. I'm telling all my friends to never come to this establishment as well. This Business is very unprofessional and Bad literally bad customer services. We go there to get one drink and my friend had to use restroom was told you cannot use it cuz is wet . We said k waited to be clean never got clean . We were told no can't be use at all which was not very nice . Then the bartender said u have leave over the fact we wanted to use the restroom and we questioned the fact why we can't . They were using bad language against us and the bartenders too . We meet the manager supposedly we taught maybe they use commonly sense and would apologize nope they didn't they were rude told us get the out with bad language again . Definitely do not suggest going here. Last time I was at this establishment was to sing karaoke with friends after an absolutely crappy day, I got attacked by a woman who was there pretty regularly, was aggressively drunk, and was causing problems for my table all night. Not only did the staff do nothing to stop her from getting in our faces multiple times over a 1-2 hour time span, they also never cut her off. At no point did the managing bartender on duty try to find out if I was okay after drunk chick's attack or get my information (she was too busy trying to kick out my male friend who helped pull drunk chick off of me because of sexist "I don't care what she did, it's never okay to hit a woman" crap, threatened to pull up the footage, then stormed off when he offered to watch said footage with her proving he didn't at any point hit drunk chick), nor to my knowledge did the owner ever try to get in contact with me (I'm friends with the KJ, so the owner KNEW there was an easy route to find me) to bare minimum apologize for the complete lack of observation and care by her staff that would have shown up on the cameras. read more

We're here early with my daughter and sat at the bar had burgers and old fashioned's and beers. It's a cool, groovy place to eat. They have a Lotta great beers on tap. I had a few myself. One of the weirdest bars I've ever been too, came in with family and friends and girls went up to bar and the bartenders said "make sure you ID these bitches" as soon as we walked in. This bar is dirty and not as in the girls but the environment. I did not want to use the restroom. The bartenders don't know how to make basic drinks such as micheladas and there's a sign that says no gang members allowed, which is confusing because how can they tell who is one and who is not, so it just seems discriminatory. My buddy and I were looking for a place to sit back, have a few beers and listen to music. Well, 3rd Base Sports Bar is a place where you can accomplish all of the above, and then some. Although this place was packed, we didn't have any trouble flagging down a bartender and getting a few beers. When I went with a "small" pour of beer, the bartender said, "The bigger ones are only about $2 more." Sold! I was on my way to a table with a "big" pour. Sitting down, I felt like I was back in high school, where I sneaked into a house party uninvited and just sat in the corner, drinking my beer, watching everyone else have a good time. I don't mean that in a bad way at all, the place was packed with a bunch of people just having a darn good time: drinking, eating, joking, dancing and singing. On the night we came, they had karaoke inside, and tacos outside. So if drinking and singing is your thing (and there was plenty of people there who thought it was), this was the place to be. Went here the other day. Place had a great flow to it. Walked right in and was served and also carded, which I thought was great. I had thought they served food and when I found out they didn't, Asked the owner Lynda about bringing food in and she said with absolutely. Definitely my fav bar by far. It's a pretty cool hang out spot for my friends and i to just chill and have a good time. Good music, fast and attentive service and pool tables and convenient. Karaoke nights on Thursdays are my fav! Noone judges you even if you suck at singing like i do. All in all i love this spot. We came here to support Grandpa Henry since he was making some BBQ. This place has a couple of things going for it. It is very clean and the staff was working pretty hard. They allowed the outside catering company to serve food which was very good for the price. It is definitely a big cut above the average dive bar. The strip mall looks a little shady, but everyone in the bar was looking to have a good time. I have no problem with a loud environment, but the music on the jukebox was far too loud. read more
