First off, the dudes here are amazing! They are very personable and made my wife and I feel at home. They were very gracious and answered the questions we had about the menu. This place is AMAZING. I literally made a yelp account to tell you how good it is. The two guys who worked there were so nice and helpful as we tried to decide what to order. They also cleared our plates for us and checked on us often, even though it's a counter service restaurant. I got the Cosmo burger and my husband got the Spicy Jam burger. They came out so quick and were the best burgers we have had so far on our trip. They are a little big (double patty) so if you're not super hungry, sharing is a good idea. It is a long, narrow location, and seating both makes no sense and is insufficient for the crowd. Send more hipster than dining oriented. Get to the counter, order Spicy Jam burger, kids chicken strips which came with fries, fries must be ordered separate for full size burgers, some drink cups, and a $10 pint that wasn't even full. $10-20 per person is highly unrealistic; it is more like $20-30. Spicy jam was good, but far too sweet. Meat was cooked nicely. Kids didn't like the breading on strips, they peeled it off. Fries were good but average. The first bite of the spicy jam burger was mind blowing and insane. I was surprised at how good it was. However, the burger was soaked with the jam and I got tired of it really quickly. The jam was really sweet and had a strong flavor so it was too overpowering. Plus the prices were pretty high. I tried the honey truffle chicken sandwich that was recommended by @eatingoceanside . The two chicken tenders are thick and well cooked. The chicken is the star of the show with the brioche bun and condiments playing a solid but unspectacular supporting role. A lot of oil ended up in the bottom of my container but it didn't seem to get the bun soggy or make the sandwich too sloppy. Overall I'd describe this place as average. I do think it's more expensive but that the portions do justify it. I got the bbq chicken sandwich and I don't think I'd get it again or recommend it. I love bbq sauce and coleslaw but this wasn't it. The bbq sauce is clearly packaged and thick so it gets very overwhelming, I don't think I tasted the coleslaw at all or the sauce on it as well for that matter. The coleslaw itself was very wet as well and the bun particularly the bottom one is nearly disintegrating as you eat it. While the sandwich is a large portion and you think you get a lot of chicken, it is mainly breading and mine fell off as I ate it. It is very heavy as a whole. Tried a bite of the cosmo burger which was decent, again fair portions and some of my friends described it as similar to White Castle because of all the onions. I did notice this burger as well is very greasy and heavy, so much so it's wet and dripping. I like a good burger from in and out or other places, but when I say this was so greasy it was wet so I don't know how it would be if you didn't eat it right away. Fries are average, onion rings are also average. The lemonade they said they make in house and that was good. The atmosphere here is nice as well. Service was fine too. But something that I noticed was the guy at the register, not sure if he's the owner or manager was very hyper. He continually ran outside and even down the street to some extent and then when a customer came in he would again be rushing in and try to be rushing past the customers. It was just like he couldn't sit still and was constantly frantic. I thought he was waiting for a delivery or something but none came while I was there and he was still at it the entire time. I left here with a stomach ache so not sure that I could recommend it overall. But if you want a greasy burger and don't want to wait at say in and out I guess this could be your place, but again stick to the burgers in my opinion. read more

My basic burger was overloaded with ketchup and mustard and needed some veggies to offset all the meat and cheese. It was supposed to come with onion and pickles but I didn't see any. My son had the truffle burger and said it was really bad which is saying something because he pretty much loves all food.
