    Fries, Chicken strips, onion rings.

They are ambitious here. Their menu is huge, making sure there is something for everyone. Everything is made to order and to perfection. The staff is amazing! They are so helpful and just hustling. The restaurant was clean and conveniently located near a body of water, which made eating outside extra special.

This is a great place to stop and have lunch. The gyro was flavorful and packed with meat and toppings. The restaurant is adorable with lots of fun memorabilia. The patio seating is fantastic. Service was quick. Next time, I will definitely grab a beer with my meal.

1/2 lb Burger and Pastrami Burger with Fries

Let's start with the service, it was great. The staff at the counter were super friendly. The location has a great view of the water and the restaurant itself has a cool diner vibe to it. I ordered a 1/2 Burger with fries and a drink. My coworker got the pastrami burger with fries and a drink. Our burgers were ok. Kinda on the drier side with no flavor. The fries were great and both our drinks from the fountain drink machine tasted weird. It was my first time there and I have heard some many great things so I was disappointed with my burger.

Chicken strips (chicken trimmings) that was given as "strips" dry, bland and not chicken strips. Horrible.

Ordered 2 chicken strip meals totaling $30....horrible disappointment...drive thru so cannot go back...the second Angelo's location chicken strips were actual strips that were full of flavor and tender so thought to try this location since it is under the same family restaurant. Absolute horrible difference the fries were better quality but we bought it for the chicken strips and were not strips at all look like the trimmings from the other chicken items trying to re-purpose. No flavor, dry and not chicken strips literal chicken trimmings. Lost $30 and that is allot to lose off 2 meals and still hungry because that was to be my meal for my lunch break. Can't turn around too far from location. Hope they would make this right or at least improve the cook and use actual chicken strips and spices. Maybe ask the cooks from the other location to train these cooks.

Burrito meat was very salty. Salsa helped a bit to decrease the saltiness but not much. I couldn't finished it it was too salty.

Hash browns and a Denver omelette
    Ulises A.

I ordered delivery and when my food arrived my Denver omelette was burnt and it looked like a flat tortilla with all the ingredients mixed together and place on top of the burnt hash browns.

Greek salad, fries, patty melt, breakfast burrito.

Absolutely the best. We come here every time we are in town. Everyone can get what they want. Where else can you possibly get a great Greek salad, Greek food, Mexican, American.

    Huge menu

Sorry Angelo, but back to Hamburger U. At the core of the basic cheesburger is a hard, chewy, cheap beef patty mounted on a huge pile of lettuce with a tasteless tomato slice on an outsized bun. There is a decent sauce and some pickles. The fries are very good--hot and crispy. While I love fries with a burger, I just need a handful but they make you buy a pile big enough for 2-3 people for close to $5.00, which is more than 50% of the cost of the crappy burger. Service was fine and ambiance old style burger joint.

I love Angelo's. Burgers are my passion and they make a pretty frickin good burger. The location closer to Carlsbad is better overall and the burger man statue outside is actually quite rare I believe they were originally from A&W and there's only two in existence.

The pastrami burger was good, but the standouts were the zucchini fries--plentiful, hot, and delicious with ranch dressing. So good!

I absolutely loved how pet-friendly the place was. They also had a super charming grab-and-go section with goodies and gifts. I ended up picking up a couple of cowboy shot glasses and some chocolates to gift. The strawberry matcha latte was delicious and definitely worth trying. The wait wasn't long at all, and there were plenty of seating options to choose from. The bar area was very clean, and there were lots of cozy, sunny spots both indoors and outdoors. The hours are great, the space is clean and inviting, and the matcha was okay. One thing I found a little odd: they bring your food to the table, but not your drink. Not a huge deal, just something I noticed. I came here twice in a row because I couldn't stop thinking about the lemon basil burrata toast. The first time was incredible which loaded with toppings and full of flavor. The second time looked noticeably lighter on the burrata and basil. Maybe it was an off day, because I know how good it can be. Overall, I'd still come back. The matcha was good enough, the toast was good enough to bring me back immediately, and despite the slightly curated "everyone here is working on a startup" vibe, the food was worth the visit.

From the moment we arrived, Sierra greeted us with her kindness and attentiveness. She was warm, welcoming, and genuinely present, checking in at just the right moments without ever feeling intrusive. It was clear she truly cared about creating a positive experience, and that level of attentiveness made a big difference. Bryce was equally impressive in his approach. What shined was his care and attention to detail, especially when it came to accommodating my allergies. He made a point to ask questions before taking action, ensuring that everything was handled safely and thoughtfully. I appreciated how realistic and transparent he was about what could and couldn't be modified, which helped build trust and made me feel more at ease navigating the menu. His professionalism and awareness were evident throughout. Drea also made a strong impression with her calm and reassuring presence. She approached everything with a sense of patience and understanding, and I felt genuinely understood and validated in my requests and concerns. Her demeanor helped create a relaxed environment, which is especially meaningful when dealing with dietary needs. She balanced efficiency with empathy in a way that felt very natural. As for the food and drinks, my friend really enjoyed the Buccaneer smoothie and even went back for a second cup of drip coffee, which they said was smooth and satisfying. I had an avocado, egg, and tortilla burrito, and I especially liked the house brown sugar coffee, which had a rich, slightly sweet flavor that came through as a highlight for me. Their kindness, attentiveness, and willingness to accommodate made a lasting impression, and it's clear that the team truly values customer care. I appreciated the window so we could order outside, sit outside, be right by the ocean and have access to restrooms.

Our servers name was Monse I believe and she was excellent. We had mimosas, an americano, lobster thermidor with cheese grits, and the steak and eggs. The steak was overcooked so it wasn't doing it for me. Overall I'd say the food is pretty good for being a hotel restaurant I would dine again.
