I am a local businessman owner that comes to Cost Cutter in Rosenberg, Tx with my wife on a regular basis for hair cuts and color. We always come and get taken care of by Ms Veronica. She is an excellent person in her service and makes sure customer satisfaction is always met. Today, as we were getting our hair cuts and colors done there were 5 customers who came in for hair cuts but no one was there to help Ms Veronica to assist those customers. As a business owner (Accountant) this not very positive for business because this means management is not able to help in the profitability of the business do to lack of staff members. Hope someone can help Ms Veronica in providing good service before the loss continues and we have to go somewhere else because of business closing. read more

If I could give this place a negative I would the old lady Lucia it's disgusting and inappropriate talking about all her tattoos and getting a piercing in other places while my little boys are getting hair cuts next to her she is so disrespectful and should be ran out of that place because she is bring the place down with her negative and disgusting talk. Rocio horrible woman she gave my son a hair cut that wasn't true to his culture he is a 10 year old little boy most hair cut places ask the parents if they want there sons hair edge up in the front. All we asked for was 2 and a 0 on the side she proceeded to give him a edge up on only half his head realizing she didn't ask and didn't do it to the other side. The she proceeded to tell me that she could fix it by changing the shape of his hair line. I asked her how when she used the edge buzzer and there's no hair being a Hispanic little boy he has hair in his forehead and can clearly see the line. Then the older lady thinks she had the right to chime in stating that I don't know what I'm talking about because I'm not a hair stylist the edge up is only done in the back yes my son has a line going through his head of course culture difference Caucasian men don't get edge up so she wouldn't know what I'm talking about she even said she doesn't do edge up because she has shaky hands. If you are one of the lucky people who doesn't care what their hair looks like, if you only get it cut or colored to mix it up or get it out of your face or off your back, you have come to the right place! BUT...if you DO care about how you look, if you have a personal preference for what you want to see when you look in the mirror, if you're on a dating site, avoid this place at all costs. My daughter went here to get her hair colored and highlighted. When she came home, I could see right away how blotchy and uneven the coloring was. I was like, ok. These people probably had a hard go of it considering she was going from black to blonde. I get it. My husband and I were out running errands when I mentioned needing a cut. He dropped me off in front of Cost Cutters. Even though I was skeptical, I thought: well it's just a trim. My mistake was mentioning that I had damaged ends. I did tell her I wanted to keep the length (I HAD long hair). She showed me how much I needed cut off, it was like 2 inches. not a huge deal. This lady cut it close to my shoulders (like 5 inches). My hair was dry from washing it that morning, didn't even spray water on it. So I walked out of there with the choppiest haircut of my life. Being a mom, I wasn't overly dramatic about it - I've had poop in there and usually keep it in a mom bun. BUT I felt like being a superhero and saving others from going there. I'll now have to go somewhere else and get a shorter cut to fix it, which I had planned on doing for the summer anyway, but...it's still winter so I'm a little sore about having to do so. I asked my daughter who did her hair, and we had different "stylists" so that tells me she wasn't the only terrible stylist there. Also, be mindful of old lady grinch with the white hair. She is BIT-TER about her life and will def take it out on you. One of the rudest people to ever work in a customer service environment. For instance, she was doing a chit job of cutting the hair of a lady's daughter. The lady asked her to cut it a little shorter, and old lady grinch got an attitude. So the mother asked someone else to cut her daughter's hair. Old lady grinch loudly said the mother had an attitude since she got there. I was there and the mother was perfectly civil. I need to share my experience at this location yesterday. Juanita Hicks was the only haircutter working. I asked for a wash, cut and blow dry not knowing that they charge $27.00 for the blow dry. Once at the wash station Juanita decided to take a very personal call discussing female menstrual problems. She was not paying attention to what she was doing at the wash station that she lost control of the sprayer and sprayed me in the face. Then I was moved to the chair and she took another personal call from the same person discussing the same personal female issues. I told her I wanted 3" off the back of my hair then reshape the layers and frame the face. She showed me the amount of hair in her hands and it looked correct. Then she proceeded to blow dry. She didn't use any tools, ie. brush, just blow dryer and her hand using downward strokes and hitting me in the head with the blow dryer at the bottom of my head with each stroke. After a few hits I finally told her that the blow dryer hitting my head was hurting me. She softly apologized and then started using the brush. Then she lost control of the blow dryer altogether and dropped the entire weight of the blow dryer on my head. Now mind you the length of my hair was very long, to the middle of my back. When I looked at the results in the mirror she had cut off 8-10 inches. Blunt cut straight across, absolutely no shape. Bottom line, she should not be cutting anyones hair and quite honestly fired. System doesn't allow for negative stars, I want to give a negative * review. read more

I would not recommend Kay at this place. She did not do what I asked her to do and when I told her it was not even she said well I ran the clippers over it already. I ended up going home and having to shave my head down to a #1 to fix the hack job she did on my hair. I will never go back to this place. read more
