The Bridgewater Candle Company helps feed children around the world. This shop also carries the Farm House Fresh (FHF) skincare line. I love their sumptuous lotions! The interior is festively decorated for Christmas and chock full of a variety of unique gifts like jewelry and items for children. It is a little pricey but not over the top. I spoke with Kelly, who was working at the counter. She was so friendly, welcoming, and sweet and we chatted for a bit. She explained that they also have classes for crafts like jewelry making & candle making. It's something I'm interested in exploring further. She let me know that Angie owned the shop and there were challenges when the pandemic hit. I'm so heartbroken that so many small businesses were adversely impacted. I love supporting small businesses. Like I told Kelly small businesses are the backbone of the American economy. They have a prayer request wall. I submitted a request along with the myriad of requests already hanging. So much prayer needed in these times. I thought that is so cool & gracious on the shop owner's part. What a blessing! You can tell that children find the shop magical! They were awestruck by many of the items on display. Hearing their squeals of delight brought joy to my ears & warmth to my heart.
