Costa Grill is the quintessential place to have lunch during your stay at the Acqualina. It's close enough to Miami without having to deal with the hectic traffic but giving you an amazing experience while visiting or just having a stay-cation. The restaurant has Mediterranean influence within the design and the delectable food selections. The drinks are truly the highlight of the entire experience, selectively handcrafted and truly enjoyable while having gorgeous views on the ocean.

It's a full restaurant and lounge. By the looks of one of the tables, there seems to have a been a sumptuous party earlier. We had a round of espresso - I even ordered it in Russian ("Dva kofe, pozhaluysta") and enjoyed a little bit of Russian and Turkish (?) music. I tried to ask the DJ if he was taking requests (GSPD or Skurt) but was declined. I would definitely want to come back, try out some of the food, cocktails (and practice my language skills)

Still, they did a solid job making the outdoor seating feel inviting with nicely arranged patio furniture and decor that creates a more comfortable atmosphere. Just keep in mind that the patio sits along a pedestrian arcade area, so expect people constantly passing by during your meal. Service was good overall -- attentive enough with no major complaints, but nothing particularly memorable either. Food, however, was a mixed experience. Maybe we didn't choose the restaurant's strongest dishes, but if something is on the menu, it should still meet expectations. The beef filet mignon kebab was cooked to the requested medium rare temperature, which was appreciated, but the meat itself lacked tenderness. The kutabi was decent but didn't leave much of an impression. The soup was probably the weakest part of the meal, tasting more like reheated leftovers from the previous day rather than something freshly prepared.

The cappuccino I ordered was extremely disappointing: watery and tasteless, more like diluted milk. It honestly feels like there is no proper barista who understands how to make a good cappuccino. Things only got worse -- I had to look for a server myself just to get sugar, and after asking, it still took another ~10 minutes. We waited around 25 minutes for the Philadelphia rolls, which is already quite long, but the result was even worse: there was barely any cream cheese. The taste was completely off -- just poorly made rolls with almost no filling. I visited this place about six months ago and the service was noticeably better. Now it feels like both the service and food quality have significantly declined. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this place.

At first, I wasn't too happy -- there were no outdoor seats available and the music at the bar was super loud. We ended up sitting all the way in the back next to a wall by the bathrooms, and the vibe there was just okay. Later, we moved closer to the outside and it completely changed the experience -- I enjoyed it so much more! The drinks are a little pricey but absolutely worth it -- we had the Tikki Kill and it was delicious. The music was amazing and kept the energy up all night. The couches are super comfy, the hookah service is great (they change the charcoal without you even asking), and free parking is a huge plus. The service was friendly and attentive, which made the night even better. The only downsides are that you really need to make a reservation ahead of time for weekends, otherwise you might end up stuck at the bar or in a less atmospheric spot. Also, there are only two gender-neutral restrooms, so there can be a bit of a wait.

Our waiter took forever to come to our table and essentially disappeared after taking our order. We had to beg for attention to get water refills and even our check! And even after asking for the check, still had to wait another five minutes to get it. The food is still good here, I enjoyed my Chilean sea bass, but the zero effort service will prevent me from visiting again. Hope management will read this and take steps to improve service and be more attentive to the very few customers they have.

A bit PRICEY but GREAT FOOD!…read more The restaurant first of all is absolutely GORGEOUS, its hands down one of the prettiest restaurants I've ever dined at, I absolutely fell in love with the decor and atmosphere of this restaurant. With its hanging chandeliers, pink velvet chairs, and pops of pink and green, it's a fun restaurant that feels so elegant and glamorous at the same time. It's so beautiful! The food here was surprisingly very good but the restaurant is definitely a bit more on the pricey side. We ordered the meat empanadas and the tuna tartare to start and both dishes were really good but for $27 I've definitely had better tuna tartare elsewhere for cheaper. It was a good dish but not the best tuna tartare I've had - the dish was missing some acidity to it (maybe some lemon). We also ordered the chicken avocado sandwich and it was massive - such a big portion - and it was really good but again at $25 a bit pricey for a crispy chicken sandwich. The star of our dinner was the mushroom risotto I absolutely fell in love with this dish! At first when I ordered it I was really skeptical about the granola topping on the mushroom risotto but I decided to try it just to see and it was absolutely amazing. One of the BEST mushroom risotto dishes I've ever had and coming from someone who grew up in Switzerland and Italy that is really a compliment. I'll be back to PANI just for the mushroom risotto because it was that good - truly a 5 star dish! We ended our meal with the Nutella crepes and the key lime pie. Both dishes were good but the key lime pie was lacking a bit of acidity in the dish, it was a bit more on the sweet side than tart for a key lime pie. Service was good and even the manager stopped by the table to check on us and see how we were doing. Overall if you're in the area and don't mind paying a little more for the food it's a great restaurant to dine at. They have an interesting menu, good food, and service. Highly recommend!

From there, the Ribeye Tacos were next. Sautéed ribeye , onion and shiitake mushroom tucked into a crispy gyoza shell with aji amarillo and pickled onion. These were chef kiss, Sweet, spicy, and crunchy perfection. The Salmon Pizza was also delicious. whole wheat crust, kalamata olives, house guac, and a hint of truffle. Unexpected combo, somehow worked beautifully. For seconds, the Wagyu Gyoza with purple potato puree and ponzu was good and flavorful, and the Spice Sushi Combo let us sample the truffle rainbow and hamachi serrano roll along with some nigirs... if you're torn on what to order, this is the move and If you're in a BBQ mood like i was, the Baby Back Ribs with parmesan truffle fries was phenomenal. For Dessert we got the mochi ice cream and the banana & Nutella spring roll ...honestly, just get both. The vibe is polished but relaxed, service was attentive, and the beachside setting makes it feel like a mini escape even on a Tuesday night. A must if you want sushi forward fusion with a view.

Anthony was the best bartender ever. He made great drinks. Best espresso martini I've ever had. Strong but so delicious. Our server Sian was also just amazing. She was so attentive, quick with service and made sure we were happy the entire time. The restaurant its self is gorgeous. There is an inside area plus an outside area. It is located inside the Acqualina Hotel and it's absolutely stunning. I will be dreaming about these flavors until the next time I'm here. The sushi is literally melt in your mouth. You can tell they use high quality ingredients and make everything to order. Highly highly recommend. It is pricey but so worth it.
