I called these guys up after my husband said they do a good job at half the price of the bigger chains. That should of been my warning. They came out to replace my windshield all was fine but once they left I noticed that two trim pieces were loose. Not being back in the area I had to wait a week for the repair. I scheduled a appointment for today they said ok we be ther 8-9 no one came and I called he said oh sorry my guy is late we will be there by 10:30. He did not get here until 11:00. As he walked up to the car he peels part of the rubber molding around the window. I showed him the loose trim. He said ok and when I came out I thought that the rubber piece would be fixed. It was not he told me he put glue on the trim and not to move the tape for 3 hrs. I go out to my car 2 hours later and the rubber piece is extremely loose one panel is no longer loose but the other panel is. I flip out since it needs to still be fixed. I call the shop and the guy says you can bring down we can take a look we have all the tools we need here and the mobile guy does not. Here is the kicker they tell me that they are booked for the next 3 hrs and they close at 5. I hall ass to get there and the guy tells me that nothing can be done the car is made of plastic. I said it was not like this before you fixed the windshield. He just kept saying its the plastic the plastic is better on this side and not this side. My husband called and asked for a refund and he said no he had to pay for the glass the guy just kept saying its the plastic everything is fine. No whistling or ratelling it will be ok. My husband said unacceptable give me a refund. He said I will give 20.00 back and slammed the phone back. I had all 5 of my windows tinted a while back and was told there would be a lifetime warranty. I have had some bubbling issues and called to see how we could handle having the issue addressed. The person who answered was very quick to brush me off and say no warranty and that they do not give lifetime warranty's. This is the 3rd time using Costa Mesa Auto Glass and Tint for my Ford work van. He replaced 2 windows from a break-in the night before and I had him put 5% Tint on the back and 20% on the side windows. 3 Days later, we can roll down the windows with ease and there are no bubbles left in the Tint. So November 16, 2018 I start the process, the sunroof on my 2018 MBZ E300 is shattered, have no real idea how it happened. Call State Farm and fortunately it was covered under comprehensive, so only $100 and no dings on my insurance. The use Sunroof Express who called on Costa Mesa Auto Glass for the order and installation. They ordered the new sunroof which would have cost nearly $1500. The parts were ordered and being around the holiday that was a bit of a delay. I get a call on 11/26 at 1:30 saying FedEx had just dropped off the new sunroof, I took it in by 2 PM and picked the car up at 4:30, all done, nice, clean, great install . Ralph was very friendly and professional. He also quoted me on tint, so I'll probably use him for that job as well, since he did such a good job on the sunroof replacement. The guy says NO, you need the request receipt, not the cashier receipt which I had. They only had one top of the line tint and it only lasted 5 years. Go somewhere else. I woke up this morning to find that my car had been broken into. Not only was the driver's side window broken, but they had stomped and shattered the back windshield to access my trunk area. I called numerous places to get quotes, and these guys were the only ones that didn't make me wait for a call back. I was quoted $390 for the back windshield at most places, but these guys told me they had one used right away, without me having to ask, priced at $110. In total, I paid much less for both windows than I would've for one at every other place. They were very empathetic from the get go, and did everything to ensure that I received good service. Good service and cheap. My windows were broken when my car was broken into. They fixed them for a very good price. One of the windows stopped going up automatically after the fix but was told it will take some time until the computer resets and it was true. It took almost a month but eventually it reset. Was an Infiniti EX 35. Price was a bit over $400 for the two windows on the right side of the car. read more
