An employee who turns out to be the manager, was extremely rude and unwilling to make our order right. I was also denied a side of salsa which I asked this rude employee/manager. I've heard my husband say that his company picked up burritos from Costa Vida for a safety meeting and that most of the attendees really disliked their meal. Some of my co-workers offered to pick up lunch for me from Costa Vida the other day. When it arrived, it looked awesome. It was a large tortilla filled with shredded beef and ranch beans with lettuce, tomato, and sour cream over the top with a smothering of what appeared to be green chili. I took a few bites expecting wonderfulness. I was sorely disappointed and have vowed not to eat there again. Maybe I have a jaded New Mexican expectation for flavor and spice, but this burrito had neither. The sauce was tasteless, as was the tortilla and beans. It looked so much better than it tasted. I don't understand how Costa Vida has stayed in business while its neighbor, Quizno's, closed its doors. Truly sad. read more

Terrible service and food was below par One of the servers had a bad attitude and I got bad vibes from him the whole time I was there. And the chicken bowl wasn't great. I was expecting somewhat of a Mexican style kick from it but instead the food did not coordinate well. But i will give them a another chance to redeem themselves in the near future so be ready. read more

My daughters and I love Costa Vida!! Our favorite dish is the sweet pork salad! A fresh tortilla with their cilantro rice, choice of black, pinto or refried beans, a generous portion of sweet pork, topped with the red sauce, then comes the lettuce, pick, crunchy tortilla strips, cheese and guacamole!! Finish it off with their ranch dressing!!! It is just sooo good! The staff are super nice and quick! Service with a smile and always glad to help you! I like to order a dozen tortillas to go that I can pick up after I finish my meal! read more

this place is very similar to cafe rio. we enjoyed lunch at 11:30am saturday morning. we ordered a chicken burrito, rasberry chipolte chicken salad and a kids quesadilla meal. they were all very good and so good we finished all our meals. the service was great and lots of tables to dine in. we plan on going back very soon. read more

Costa Vida in Farmington is one of my favorite restaurants because of their fresh food that they prepare right in front of you. Tonight the workers were extremely busy, rushing through orders. I got mine take out. When I got home I missed the tortillas which is my favorite part of the chicken salad that I usually order. I was so disappointed when I found out they didn't put that tortillas in my order bag. But I got over it. Haha read more

We like to stop in to eat here on our drive to Utah, or if we are in the vicinity from Albuquerque. The food is good, however when comparing to it's rival, Café Rio, it comes in second. I like the wheat tortilla option they offer at Costa Vida. Worth going out of our way and through Farmington to eat here. read more

I love their sweet pork anything. I just think it should come with a side of beans and rice and it would be perfect.

My favorite quick lunch stop in Farmington. Not authentic "Mexican" food, but we have plenty of that in NM. I love that the food is fresh and you don't feel weighed down when you walk out the door. I am a huge fan of the chicken salad or the enchiladas. read more

It's a chain so you know what your getting, but what you are getting is good! fresh tortillas, fresh romaine lettuce. I almost always get the salad. IT's filling and healthy. Way better then the salad at Texas road house. read more

We use to love Costa Vida but lately they charge extra for every little thing and some of the servers are just flat out rude(Mannys always sweet) but there are some servers that just treat you like you're ignorant. Overpriced & overrated. read more
