    Smothered sweet pork burrito.
    David N.

Food was ok, just ok. Not bad but not memorable. I had the sweet pork burrito. A little to sweet, but I know some people like it that way. The service was exceptional, and let restaurant was very nice a quick casual location and it was very busy when I was there. I do hope to visit it again to try something different. Because other than the unremarkable burrito the experience was good.

Nacho cheese was watered down and runny and I found a bone in the first of my three tacos. When I brought this to a manager's attention, she said thank you and that was it. I didn't eat any of the remaining tacos since I lost my appetite. I probably won't return.

This is nothing but dough, that is not a tortilla!!! Ick!!!!

1st and last time ordering from Costa Vida via Grubhub. I ordered a chicken burrito, came with no cheese but lots of dough which was 90% of the burrito. This was not a flour tortillas,'it was a flour pancake with no cheese?!!! I asked for no rice, got it...guess as some kind of filler to the extra thick pancake wrap!!! I threw most away because after I bite I was stuffed!! Uggg

Been coming to Costa Vida for a little bit under a year. I was reading the other reviews about this location and it blew my mind about what people thought, numerous one star reviews involving terrible customer service in a rude environment. Every time I come into the restaurant, it's extremely busy, but everybody that's working is working extremely efficient and doesn't have attitude at all. I get the chicken nachos or a chicken burrito and it has exquisite amount of taste and flavor and I only pay $10 for a massive portion compare to $10 for a tiny portion at chipotle would definitely recommend this place. If you're looking for a good lunch spot the restaurant itself has plenty of seating with plenty of outside light.

Another great meal. We ordered on the app and I'm glad we did so we didn't have to wait in line. I got the nachos with sweet pork and they are always good. Husband got the sweet heat burrito and loved it. Kiddo got the kids chicken taco. He loves the dessert, a tortilla with cinnamon sugar.

The street taco plate was delicious and you can't go wrong with the carnitas. The Burrito smothered in green chile was also fantastic and the pickled onions and queso Fresca elevated some different notes. For two people, ordered a set of 3 tacos (2x barbacoa and carnitas) and then another 3 tacos (asada, carnitas, and pastor), birria egg rolls, and a bean, cheese, and rice burrito. Not a big deal but they put all the tacos in one box and I was able to differentiate which 3 tacos that I ordered. This place is super stingy with salsa. They gave me 2 tiny containers for salsa and then when I asked for a couple more, the lady said she could only give me two more. :( Excited to try the food and started off great with a simple bean, cheese, and rice burrito but outside of that everything else was very meh. Not sure how but all the meats were so dry, I ordered braised/slow cooked meats (barbacoa and carnitas). Asada and pastor were okay as well. Everything lacked seasoning and the salsa didn't add much to the tacos either. Birria tacos were also dry and consommé needed salt to be added. Value was not bad at $37.64. Tacos were about $3-3.20 per

False advertising right off the bat. On top of that, they can't show up on time. Both times I've waited on them, they rolled in hours late. One football Sunday they didn't even arrive until 2:40 PM... when games start around 11 AM. Not exactly a reliable partner for breweries trying to host customers. Now for the food: honestly, it's nothing like the pictures online. It comes out looking sloppy and unappetizing. Against our better judgment, my friends and I ordered anyway -- and all of us got sick. This wasn't a one-off either. Both times I ate from this truck, I got sick. That's a major red flag. The owners themselves are nice people, but the product and execution are unacceptable. At this point, the health department really needs to step in and inspect this truck because something isn't right. They also have a brick & mortar restaurant in Lone Tree, but after two bad experiences, I won't be going anywhere near it. If I see this truck at a brewery again, I'll be eating somewhere else.

Authentic, homemade, flavorful, inventive and delicious food! The owner, who stopped by our table to check on us and chat, is from Mexico City and brought all the flavors of Mexico to Colorado and I'm glad he did. Good food, good music, good service. Not sure what else you need?! On the small downside, yes it is a little more costly than other places. I think part of that is the location, Lone Tree being in a wealthier part of Douglas County. However, don't let that stop you from going, just plan accordingly.

I'm a combo #5 kind of mexican food eater and this is a solid place with a nice array of choices. Decent green chile and solid enchilada sauce. Service was quick and friendly and I appreciated that the pickup time I got for my order was right on the money so I didn't have to wait long, and my food wasn't getting cold. We were left completely alone while all staff members were in the back the entire time we were dining. They even had another customer that came in that was completely ignored. He had to ring the bell twice to get service. A redeeming quality is that it's open late, which is nice if you've been out drinking.

It was a very poor first impression. After being seated, things didn't improve much. The staff working the bar and nearby tables were very short with us from the beginning and gave off the impression that they didn't want to be there. What made it worse was that the restaurant wasn't even busy at all. I ordered a michelada, and honestly it was one of the worst I've had. I've tried micheladas all over the Americas, and this one was terrible. I specifically asked for it to not be too spicy, was told "okay," and it still came out extremely spicy. I couldn't even drink it. For food, I ordered a burrito while my friend ordered fajitas and a quesadilla. The pictures looked great, but the food arrived cold. We had also ordered well before the two tables next to us, yet they received their meals at least 10 minutes before we did. The only positive part of the experience was the woman who brought our food out from the kitchen. She was very kind and welcoming, and honestly the best part of the restaurant. Back staff should probably be taking the orders. After our food arrived, nobody checked on us even once. We were never asked if the food was okay, if we wanted another drink, or if we needed water refills. The server only came back when it was time to pay. Walked by us multiple times and never took the time to stop to ask us how we doing. There was essentially no service throughout the meal. I will say the decor and atmosphere were beautiful. The restaurant did feel like a small piece of Mexico, which I appreciated. However, as a Latino, the hospitality and service did not reflect the warm and welcoming Latino vibe I expected. Overall: great decor, but the service and food were extremely disappointing. There are many other Mexican restaurants nearby offering much better experiences. This place seriously needs to improve its hospitality and customer service.
