strawberries and whipped cream in a plastic cup

Was here on national ice cream day, and had to stop and get a strawberry sundae. I am a huge Costco fan, and honestly you can't beat the food court prices. It was the perfect size for both me and my boyfriend to share, and a great way to celebrate national ice cream day! Highly recommend everyone in the Augusta area eat at this Costco food court if you have not already. 10/10

This place is the absolute best. First, the prices are so low I'm honestly curious if they even make money off the food they sell here. Second, the portion sizes are crazy huge, a buck fifty gets you an all beef foot long hotdog and a drink and if you order a piece of pizza it's about the size of four normal slices. Third, I've never seen an employee move so fast. I'm convinced that all the employees at the Costco Food Court used to be members of a NASCAR pit crew they move so fast. If I lived closer to Costco I would probably eat all my meals here. And you're supposed to be a Costco member to eat there but you can totally get in without being a member. You just tell the guy at the front door that you're going to the customer service line and they won't ask you for your membership card and then you can just walk right past the customer service desk and go to the food court and the people at the food court don't ask for your card so you can get away with it! Happy eating y'all!

Brunch is serious business in Augusta and after one visit to The Brunch House of Augusta I…read morecompletely understand why this place stays packed. While in town for the weekend my husband and I wanted brunch somewhere unique to Augusta instead of another chain restaurant, and after scrolling Yelp and seeing all the glowing reviews we decided to give this Black owned, family operated spot a try. I noticed online that you can make a reservation for a $20 fee that gets deducted from your check. At first I was a little surprised, but after seeing how busy this place is, it makes total sense. We decided to roll the dice without a reservation anyway. When we arrived on a Saturday morning there were already several people waiting outside. There isn't really an indoor waiting area, so the hospitable hostess took my name and phone number and kindly asked us to wait outside. Later I noticed the sign explaining the process. She quoted us a 40-minute wait, but thankfully we were seated in about half that time. Inside, the restaurant is quaint and cozy with a classic diner feel complete with counter seating and booths. The ambiance is casual and welcoming. If you have a larger party, there are a couple of outdoor tables that appear to accommodate around six people, but personally I think this spot is best enjoyed with a smaller group. Our waitress was friendly, attentive, and kept everything moving smoothly despite the busy brunch crowd. My husband ordered the chicken and waffles while I went with the Garden City breakfast bowl loaded with veggies and home fries plus a salmon croquette on the side. Every single thing tasted homemade and full of flavor. This is what Southern comfort food is supposed to taste like. My husband said the chicken was seasoned well and fried perfectly, and the waffle paired with it beautifully. My breakfast bowl reminded me of the kind of breakfast my grandma used to make, comforting, flavorful, and cooked with care. Portion sizes were just right,  enough to leave satisfied without feeling miserable afterward. Prices were also very reasonable for the quality of food and service we received. Stellar customer service, delicious food, and a welcoming atmosphere. If I ever find myself back in Augusta, this will absolutely be one of my repeat stops.

It is a pretty big space with tables and booths, we went around 3pm on a Sunday and they was a consistent busy crowd to come in and out. They have hot food and cold snacks like ice cream, mangonadas; etc. and 2 areas you can order from for each of those. The manager/owner gentleman that was there was super friendly, helped us fix our order when they made a mistake checking us out. I have no complaints about the customer service here. For drinks we got the Medium strawberry agua fresca ($6.50) with boba ($0.96) and a Medium horchata ($5.95). For food we got the steak quesadilla ($11.75), tacos al pastor ($12.22) and a queso ($3.25). I took 1 star off because of two things: - the queso was SO watery, we didn't even finish it lol very underwhelming - for 2 meals, 2 drinks & queso it was ~$40.00, I'm from TX and that just seems like highway robbery I'm glad that I got a chance to try them out, I will probably only come here for a snack every once in a while if those prices aren't as high.

Perusing the store for a long time, I ordered a milkshake but ended up receiving just ice cream due to a miscommunication that I didn't want to push to fix. My pistachio ice cream was okay, but not really worth the trouble I went through to get it. That had some interesting options, and notably are a grill as well as a dessert place and I think you can get tofu tacos. I may well give them another shot and hope for a better experience.
