I have learned about Chicken Salad Chick after listening to a TED talk. I found the founder's story inspiring so I always wanted to try out the restaurant. I usually do not like chicken salad so I figured I would just taste one small bite. However, it did turn into a meal. I did enjoy the creative options available, the included cranberries, grapes, pineapple etc in the fruit option. The savory options included some pickle, lemon, basil. They servings are ice cream scoop sized the also included were crackers and iced cookies. It was a very tasty formulation, not soggy at all. I did enjoy the lemon basil option the most. Service was very fast and friendly. Nice lunch option for something different. Would definitely be open to having it again should they ever open a spot in my area. read more

Me and a friend came here to get lunch and catch up. It was my first time at this location of chicken salad chick and I was very pleased. The service was quick and friendly. I got the fancy Nancy on a croissant and pasta salad. The food arrived at our table pretty quick. The portions were a good size and everything tasted amazing. Was craving some chicken salad and CSC makes the best in town. The chicken is finely shredded and there's not too much mayo. The whole wheat crackers go great with the salad. The sandwich makes you more full but I think the bread overpowers the salad. The fruity Fran is always my go to but the buffalo barclay really surprised me, it was absolutely delicious! Today was my first time here. Everyone was so pleasant and very helpful. The variety is great. They had every kind of chicken salad you could think of. I had the one that had chicken, mayo, grapes, fugi apples and pinapple on wheat toast with lettuce and tomato! You get one side so I had loaded potato soup. I also got the grape salad. They have homemade pimento cheese to. You can have it as a sandwich, a scoop on lettuce, on a salad, same for the chicken salad. They also have club sandwiches. I had fairy high expectations based on what I've heard others say but those expectations fell flat for me. The service wasn't friendly and the food was underwhelming. I had the Trio with the bacon, cheddar & ranch (?), the Original and the Southern style. It all tasted pretty much the same to me and mostly like mayo and not much else. The grape salad however was delicious and I could eat just that. The crackers were all broken up for the most part so there was nothing to eat with it. This place checked all my boxes for a simple and comforting lunch. Everyone was friendly, the space is clean and inviting, and most importantly, I like what I ordered. The Sassy Scotty chicken salad wasn't unique but it tasted good, the broccoli salad tasted like coleslaw dressing with broccoli, bacon bits, and shredded cheddar, good if you're into that, and the chicken artichoke soup was light, creamy, and slightly lemony. I love coming here. They have many variations of chicken salad. My favorite is the Fruity Fran. I usually get "the chic" which is a scoop of any chicken salad I choose. I request it on a croissant. It also comes with a side and a cookie. You are able to ask for a sample to taste the different ck salads. The staff is always pleasant and won't even allow you to throw out your own trash. We got the Sassy Scotty, Fancy Nancy, and jalapeño Holly. The chicken salad had the perfect amount of mayo, not too much. For a chicken salad lover, this place is heavenly. This place just opened up and definitely beat out my expectations. I was expecting a small, in and out store but this is a full blown restaurant! I visited today for lunch and boyyyy were they packed. There was no where to park, so we ended up parking in the shopping center right behind the store. The line was backed up to the door almost and for good reason. The chicken salads are very different from the norm, but great. Despite being slammed, the staff was handling it extremely well and the line moved fast. It was like a well oiled machine. They also do call in orders and have an app in which you will be able to create orders on soon. The app contains a rewards program also for frequent shoppers. As far as food goes, I ordered the trio platter consisting of Barbie-q, Kickin' Kay Lynne, and broccoli salad. As the name suggest, Barbie-q is a bbq flavored chicken salad, which was delicious. The Kay Lynne had a mix of buffalo sauce, ranch, bacon, cheese, and jalapenos in it. It wasn't as spicy as I was expecting but the flavor was good. The broccoli salad was awesome. I also ordered a pound of Sassy Scotty for later, which contained ranch, bacon, and shredded cheese. The customer service here was great, and the manager made sure that we were being helped while we were waiting for our to go orders. I believe his name was James. It is rare to see these days, but he was working just as hard as the other employees to complete and get orders out the door. I will be visiting again to try out the other flavors. read more

I'm not a hater of chicken salad and I'm not a huge lover of chicken salad. It's something I can eat but not necessarily crave, if that makes sense!!! I wouldn't choose it at a restaurant that serves other things besides chicken salad. I saw rambling of this business coming to Augusta on Facebook. I never heard of the franchise but was interesting in trying it and its offerings. I checked out its menu several times to get a feel for its items. Then the day arrived that I would try this place. I was pleased with the experience. The restaurant is really cute and has southern charm. It was easy to order and wait for the food to arrive at the table. I had a harder time choosing what I wanted. I ended up getting the Chick trio with Sassy Scotty, Buffalo Barclay and Jazzy Julia. My favorite being Sassy Scotty!!! If you have read any of my other reviews, you know I'm a person who loves flavorful food and this chicken salad was the most flavorful of the three. I think I will order it each time I come back. The cashier suggested the grape salad as a side and I see why!!! It was DELICIOUS!!! I wouldn't normally eat something like that but I really enjoyed it!!! It's something that would be perfect on a sweltering Georgia summer day!!! While I was dining in I was able to speak with the General manager, Gigi, and she was really pleasant and even gave me more of those delicious crackers that came with my meal!!! I don't like wheat anything but I have been convert, at least to wheat crackers!!! The staff was very friendly and courteous and removed discarded debris from the table anytime they would see it there. Surprisingly good! During lunch I went. It was super busy and packed! They have a tiny one way in one way out parking lot which is dumb but whatever. I ordered the Jazzy Julie. The chicken salad was good. flavorful and chunky. I also had a side of the soup of the day which was loaded potato soup...I which that was the main dish! it was very good- exactly like a loaded baked potato but in soup form. The cookie of the day was the white macadamia cookie. It was good- slight lemony taste which I didn't mind. What I didn't like was that you can only order "the day" Item. I wanted the lemon cookie and the waiter told me I couldn't because it wasnt the cookie of the day smh...same thing goes for the soups as well. To get here you'll need to turn into the Kroger intersection off Washington. The parking can get pretty tight around lunch time; there's a dead end if you go too close to the front. There's a lot of chicken salads as advertised. The staff is so friendly and attentive, it's very amazing. They explain the menu and the options you have. It's kind of complicating so let me simplify: You choose a salad on the left column. Make it a scoop with crackers or a sandwich (lots of bread options). Then choose one side salad. After that you get dessert: cookie of the day or pie. That's the basic tier. Go for the second tier to get two sides, third for three. You can get a pound for $12 if you want some for later. I got the Hawaiian salad with croissant as sandwich. Everything I've felt about chicken salads instantly went away when I took a bite. Chicken had flavor and tasted like pulled chicken instead of packaged chicken from places like subway. Croissant was strong but tender enough to hold everything together. My cookie was fresh and soft. Great lunch combo. Get the app and start racking up awards because you'll want to get more salad after. read more

This is a great lunch spot in Evans. They have fabulous chicken salad and pimento cheese choices, and I recommend getting a combo so you can try a couple of things on the menu. If you are dieting, they do have delicious salads, as well. The interior is clean and bright and the staff is really friendly. Okay it's Chicken Salad and a lot of varieties at that, however all of them appear to be the minced/processed to one homogenous mass type. I don't object but a couple of diced or chunky styles would be nice. I am always a little leery of what exactly is in one of those textureless scoops. The taste is good and after several trips to CSC I have never had any digestive issues so no hidden MSG or Sulfates which is really nice. My one and only real complaint is the parking situation. I can't believe the city approved the plan for it. Dicey to get in and out because of traffic. Spaces are tight and there are not nearly enough. If you have a nice car I recommend parking across at Beer World their lot is empty at lunch and I am sure it's okay, I don't know if this is an option in the evening read more

First, if you are offering different chicken salad sandwiches, toasted bread should be an option. There is nothing better than a chicken salad sandwich with lettuce and tomato on toasted white bread. Second, when you order just the chicken salad, you should be offered more of a choice than wheat thin crackers. How about some captain's wafers or just saltines? Pretty cool atmosphere when you come in here. Has quite a southern look and feel to it. I wasn't too sure on what I wanted to get and try for the Chick Trio, so the cashier let me sample the ones I wanted. I asked to try the Sassy Scotty, Olivia's Old South, and the Nutty Nana. They tasted really good! It was peak lunch time and I didn't have to wait in line too long, but I did wait a good bit on my food to come out. The manager did give me a free special on the house for the next time I come here. The employees were very friendly and nice. They kept checking on my order when it took a while to come out. I held off from writing a review during their opening week. Service was horrible and I waited 45 minutes for my order. It was a mess. But I've worked in the service industry for a long time and I am glad I gave them a few more chances to iron out the kinks I came today for lunch right in the middle of rush hour. Yes it was busy. The ordering line was long but moved fast. I placed my to go order and waited. I waited only 5 minutes before getting my food! Seems CSC has gotten their team right and is in their groove. I love the food but the service really sucks! I've been 3 times now and every single time something had either been missing or wrong. My first and second time, my side was missing (checked the receipt and both times it was on the receipt). The third time my side was missing AND my sandwich was wrong. I didn't think to check the sandwich and went all the way home. Had to come back and they don't offer anything to make up for it, just a quick apology and that's it. Generally I like the concept and found the store to be aesthetically pleasing, spacious, and very clean. The line and working staff were incredibly kind and glad to offer suggestions. Though the service was sublime, I was a bit disappointed in the actual meal. I ordered the spiciest of the chicken salad sandwiches and it wasn't spicy or even extra flavorful in the slightest. Sides were lacking in choice and diversity, as well as expensive. I did like the key lime pie slice, but it was the smallest slice of pie I think I have ever seen served at a restaurant. As a whole my experience felt slightly balanced, and middle ground, but I do feel that quality of food should always be first and foremost at any eatery. This was my first time here. They take chicken salad very seriously. I had the classic carol - which is another name for original chicken salad. I made my order and got my drink and sat down. They give you a number you set on your table. When it's ready, someone brings it to you. Nice touch. I also chose the soup which was tortilla soup. When my food arrived, I ate the soup first. To be blunt, I wanted to bathe in it - it was that good. Then I dug into my sandwich. This was absolutely the best chicken salad sandwich I have ever had. It was creamy (in a good way) and delicious. Decided to try Chick Salad Chick on it's opening day ... today. Didn't go until after 2pm, and it was still pretty hoppin' ! First impression (the parking lot, naturally) was a serious disappointment. Entering from Washington Road, you have to circle around the back of the building - a tight squeeze if a car is coming from the other direction. One car was literally backing out of the parking lot, b/c there is no exit from the front side. Pretty poorly designed. Ordered the soup and half sandwhich meal. Had the Classic Carol, which was DELISH ... very creamy and salty. Sourdough bread wasn't fab. Broccoli and cheese soup was good. Wish they would include the bread choices on the menu - and would add whole grain and rye as choices ! Tasted my friend's Nutty Nana, Sassy Scotty and Pimiento Cheese, which were all very yummy. Staff was a little overbearing, but I'm sure that's just opening day excitement. I swear I must've counted 10-15 staff just between the registers (3) and the floor !
