Costco gas is always my go to gas station. This location is great because they have three pumps on each row. The lines will seem long but they actually move fairly fast. I do recommend coming first thing in the morning or in the evening to avoid the long lines. read more

Costco always has the best priced gas in town, that's a fact. What's also a fact is that it has the worst customer service and the lines to wait for a pump are always so chaotic! Why in the world would I review a gas station...well it's Costco and they do gas right? Did that come out right, because it totally sounded wrong.. Apparently this place is such a secret, my GPS and Yelp could not even find it for a check in! Anywho, expect to pay 15-20 cents cheaper than all other gas stations around, I even go out of my way as it still is cheaper than anything on my way to work. Yes, there are long lines, but it is for a reason. They claim that their gas will get you better gas mileage, and sure enough I jumped from 36.5 to 37 MPG in a few weeks with less HWY traveling, so maybe their voodoo works? I usually hit it around 4ish which is not too bad, but I am going to try for the 6 AM slot in a few days to really see if it makes a difference. Also, I have confirmed with one of their employees that their wireless card readers does not function (Boo! No Samsung Pay for me). How can I even end this? Gas on Yelpers?? read more

Cheapest gas in town! Costco has always been the best and cheapest gas you can find, yes you need a membership but well worth it for what you will be saving in the year. This specific location alone in not my favorite at high peak times cause it can be a challenge getting in and leaving the area. Wishing they can add more pumps but what they have makes due. Getting gas at Costco gas on Santa Rosa Avenue, when I witnessed an outstanding employee named Sebastian . He was helping an elderly couple get the gas pump to reach all the way over onto the other side of their trailer. He didn't hesitate to help them with whatever they needed, and he looked happy while doing it. I then witnessed him asking many other customers if they wanted his help pumping their gas for them. This Costco is extremely lucky to have such an outstanding employee. I've never seen such a hardworking employee!!! read more

The really gross thing is if your pumping gas close to the pumps off the entrance of Santa Rosa Blvd, you can smell the urine in the bushes where the homeless are relieving themselves. The costco gas station in Santa Rosa has by far the cheapest gas around. Gas prices keep going up and this is a great place to fill up and save a lot of money. It's definitely a lot cheaper than surrounding gas stations. This gas station has an odd layout so be aware when making your way to the line. I personally felt that the line went fast. I went mid day on a Sunday. There is an attendant that will let you know when a pump ahead opens up. I am glad when I think about the savings in filling up my gas tank whenever I fill up here. read more

Is it worth waiting in a super long line to save .20 - .40 cents per gallon? When you have a 36 gallon tank like me, then I think so! The lines sucks but just come early to avoid the mess. Do you have to be a Costco member to get gas? The answer is Yes. Kirkland rules the world and so do their cheap gas prices. You can pull up to either pump because it doesnt matter what side your gas tank is on. The super long hoses can reach to either side. Most people don't know that. Easy in and out at this Costco gas station. I like that it's out in front by the street and away from the store's entrance. There's a traffic light when you pull in and out of the lot. If you have time to kill waiting in line, then you can get some cheap gas. A few of the pumps are temperamental and click off repeatively, even when you stand there holding it. I've witnessed tons of accidents because people think they can maneuver their huge SUVs around cars to get the next pump, but end up failing. Word of advice... enter at your own risk lol read more

While the gas was 10 - 20 cents less than other stations, sometimes I wondered whether the wait made sense. Awesome place and selection of goods. Cheaper prices when you buy in bulk but nothing new about that. Expect the lines but the cashier busy through them fairly fast. Does help to have your card at hand ready to get in and out as fast as possible. Employees there smile which is a good indication of happy employees which then translates to great service. Be patient and just get through it, helps to hit up the free sample so that your tummy is full before heading home. read more
