When I say "this is my favorite gas station in Sonoma County," I have to say it means something different than what you may think... Yes, it's super convenient if you're heading up 101 North towards Santa Rosa. Yes, they tend to be a few cents cheaper per gallon than competing gas stations nearby (but not the members only warehouse store that starts with a "C" about 2 miles up Santa Rosa Avenue - that's the cheapest I know of). Yes; the store is well stocked and probably the closest you'll find to an actual "truck stop" type of place here - both for semi's and for cars alike... But, it's what happens there and the people who work there that make it my favorite. The employees have always been super nice, super happy, and just...chill (?) each time I've been in, with the exception of when they have to deal with the drama of the homeless or druggies in the middle of the night (but that could wear on anyone). There's a few women who work there of whom I've had great conversations with late night (they're tattooed, as am I, so it makes it easy to strike up conversation) - they've always been super friendly to talk to. Sure, it's not the cleanest place, but there are far worse 24/hour gas stations in Santa Rosa and considering this is literally on the freeway- who could ask for more? Just watch out for the large rocks at the entrances and exits and don't cut the corners too short otherwise your car may wind up on top of one of them! - I've seen that happen more than once! read more

Visiting Santa Rosa and boondocking in our RV, I needed a place to dump our tanks and was happily surprised to find this RR to fill my fuel tank and dump my gray/black tanks. They even have a propane fill station and lots or room for my 35 foot Class A rig. Found plenty of quick snack supplies inside and a friendly and busy staff keeping the place clean and well maintained. Right off 101 so this goes onto my "must stop" list for our ventures up North and back. RR's are always my station of choice at home so it is nice to see them up here. read more

Todd road location...was there yesterday getting my regular fill up and cigs and soda...as I do everyday around 2:40 pm...one of the employees who appeared to be ready to get off work and wanted to save a pump to fill up drove through the pump area very fast and almost hit me...then screeched out of there and around to another pump almost hitting another car. When I said to him that he was out of line for doing what he did he got confrontational with me stating that he was on the clock so he couldn't respond, in a very snarky and confrontational manner. Rotten Robbie is A-OK in my book. The gas is fairly priced. They tend to be a penny or two under most other stations although now-a-days $5/gallon is easy to come by. You'll get a mixed mash of people who frequent here so just keep your head down and you'll be fine. read more

Two words: CHEAP GAS I currently do a reverse commute. I live in SF but drive up to SR for work. As you can imagine, I burn through gas pretty quickly. So I'm always keeping an eye out for places with good gas prices. Like all Rotten Robbie's, this location has very reasonably priced gas. But the location is key. This branch is conveniently located just off of Hwy 101. Take the Todd Rd. exit and voila! We refilled our propane here and were frustrated to see the restrooms out of service. While hubby had propane filled I dropped by 2 other super close stations also with the restrooms out of service. The best place to get gas... which is why it can get crowded. Doesn't stay crowded for long. The staff is always fast. They are always nice to me. Even when I come in with change. Sometimes I almost run out of gas because I won't stop at any other gas station. read more

I absolutely love this gas station! I love that its located right off the freeway, you seriously can not be any closer to the 101 than this place is. They have a very small shop, but they have enough of the usual treats that you'll be able to find something to snack on. The prices tend to be some of the cheapest around, although I know there are a couple of Arcos that will have cheaper gas, this place just can't be beat for where it happens to be. It feels like you just pull over and fuel up and hit the freeway again. Awesome! Definitely hit this place up if you're headed north on the 101. read more

Everyone from management to the staff is awesome and always give me great service! The only reasons why I'm giving them 4 stars is because of their very convenient location and their prices. They consistently have some of the lowest prices. Their store also has a lot to offer when it comes to snacks, food, and beverages. The facility is not that nice and the clientele is on the rough side. read more

Why have I never used this location before? About the easiest way to get gas. I felt like I was at a pit stop at a NASCAR race...Super easy to get to almost directly on the ramp if you are going Northbound. And a quick turn right back on the freeway. Good prices.
