It is on the right side of the main entrance and it says "Eye Exams" above the door. The receptionist was nice and had me fill out the paperwork which took no time, and Dr. Song had me in for my appointment on time, which rarely happens when I see any doctor. He did a thorough evaluation of my eye health and updated my prescription as well. I was not previously aware of the optic nerve cupping that he saw when he did the eye exam and recommended an ophthalmologist to see in order to have a further examination done on the issue. I am glad he was as thorough as he was because I have never been told of this issue in all the years I have had eye exams in the past. Better safe than sorry. I was very impressed by the professionalism by the practice and I will definitely be back to have my eyes checked in the future. I do not have eye insurance and their eye exam for glasses is very reasonable, being only $65. I would rather come here to spend that money and make sure my eyes are healthy than waste it at Ruth's Chris and get a clogged artery.

Our old doctor was massively expensive, even though both my husband and I had very good paying jobs. Once we lost our eye coverage, we felt we we being disrespected at our old optometrists office. Then we found Dr. Song. He is wonderful, his offices has never overbooked him, he treats us with lots of respect and concern. All five of us love going to see Dr. Song. Our son, who lives in California now, still makes his appointments when he is visiting home because he says he had the same problem in California where he felt rushed, Dr. really didn't care about him and he definitely didn't feel respected. Dr. Song is located on the outside of the Costco Chantilly building. He has Costco member rates but he takes non-member clients and his rates are only $69.00/$89.00 which is very reasonable. Dr. Song is a true professional and he really takes his time with all of his clients and for us, well we all feel listened to, which is a rarity now a days.

She has always been kind and attentive every time I saw her and made the whole process as easy as possible for me. Well, this time I decided to take my two boys there. They both needed new glasses, and they wanted to try contact lenses for the first time. Wow! She was so patient with them and encouraging even when one of them literally spent 2 hours trying to get his contacts in! I booked an appointment with See and Co. and met with Dr. Emily and her kind and attentive staff. Dr. Emily inspected my eyes and conducted a series of vision tests with me which entailed reading various letters on a screen in various sizes and clarity. In the end, she confirmed that not much had changed if at all. However, she recommended that I choose a slightly lighter prescription in one of my lenses in order to reduce the effects of stigmatism which resulted in less dizziness while wearing glasses. I like the fact that she was very detailed and tried to recommend the best solution that suited me. I was in good hands. In addition to the personalized service, See and Co. offers very high quality name brand frames. I tried some of them on until we found the right one, an aviator-type with metal frame. And due to Covid, there was a system for sampling the frames. After each sampling, the frames were placed in a basket and ready to be sanitized before being touched by the next person. In addition to that, all of the staff was wearing masks. I felt safe knowing their Covid procedures were in effect. Moving on.. my frames were made onsite so I got them sooner rather than later! I'm very happy with the quality of the lens which were made to block both UV and blue light. It's very unique in that it somehow makes everything look a little brighter and a little more pleasant.. even on darker rainy days. I'm not sure what causes that, but it's awesome. My frames also came with a magnetic attachment which enables it to double as sunglasses. You just place the shades on the front of the frames and it stays.. very convenient. The front-of-house (front desk and the folks that fit your glasses) are often very young, unprofessional, and not well-informed about eyewear or basic customer service. They struggle to answer questions clearly, offer poor or incorrect advice, and overall seem unsure of how to communicate with patients. For anyone getting glasses for the first time or navigating more complex vision needs, this can quickly become a frustrating and stressful experience. You truly need to do your own research ahead of time and know exactly what you're looking for before you walk in--otherwise you may end up in a nightmare scenario. Scheduling appointments is another challenge. Every phone call feels like an inconvenience to them; the tone is unhelpful, rushed, and sometimes even dismissive. There's often audible sighing or irritation when trying to find an appointment time that works. It's clear they don't want to be there, and unfortunately it shows in the service. The only reason I continue to return is because this is the closest location covered by my insurance. If proximity or insurance coverage isn't an issue for you, I would strongly recommend choosing a different provider. The doctors are excellent, but the overall experience is significantly downgraded by the front desk staff.
