She has always been kind and attentive every time I saw her and made the whole process as easy as possible for me. Well, this time I decided to take my two boys there. They both needed new glasses, and they wanted to try contact lenses for the first time. Wow! She was so patient with them and encouraging even when one of them literally spent 2 hours trying to get his contacts in! Take for instance this past Sunday when I went to them for a tightening of the screws in my eyeglass hinges because they were getting too loose. After extensive, brazen lying that there was no way to tighten the screws, and that I was over-reacting, I realized the problem was not going to get fixed and went away. Later, I purchased precision screwdrivers myself and fixed the problem myself. So much for "the screws on your frames can't be tightened!-eh??" What a load of baloney.

I booked an appointment with See and Co. and met with Dr. Emily and her kind and attentive staff. Dr. Emily inspected my eyes and conducted a series of vision tests with me which entailed reading various letters on a screen in various sizes and clarity. In the end, she confirmed that not much had changed if at all. However, she recommended that I choose a slightly lighter prescription in one of my lenses in order to reduce the effects of stigmatism which resulted in less dizziness while wearing glasses. I like the fact that she was very detailed and tried to recommend the best solution that suited me. I was in good hands. In addition to the personalized service, See and Co. offers very high quality name brand frames. I tried some of them on until we found the right one, an aviator-type with metal frame. And due to Covid, there was a system for sampling the frames. After each sampling, the frames were placed in a basket and ready to be sanitized before being touched by the next person. In addition to that, all of the staff was wearing masks. I felt safe knowing their Covid procedures were in effect. Moving on.. my frames were made onsite so I got them sooner rather than later! I'm very happy with the quality of the lens which were made to block both UV and blue light. It's very unique in that it somehow makes everything look a little brighter and a little more pleasant.. even on darker rainy days. I'm not sure what causes that, but it's awesome. My frames also came with a magnetic attachment which enables it to double as sunglasses. You just place the shades on the front of the frames and it stays.. very convenient. Overall, I highly recommend See and Co. and Dr. Emily. Had an awesome experience here.

It has become extremely difficult to schedule appointments with Dr. Hinkle or Dr. Boyle. After waiting weeks, we've arrived for appointments only to be told they were canceled without notice. Additionally, the front office staff is often rude and make simple questions feel like an inconvenience. The newer staff responsible for fitting glasses also do not seem to take the time to properly ensure a correct fit. This has been very disappointing given the level of care we experienced in the past. Unfortunately, today was the tipping point and we will not be back.
