Get your cokes, candy, chips and gas here before heading to the races. Drinks and food you buy here can save you money at Brainerd Optimist Club race track.

So we checked our receipt or online receipt to make sure the name was right it was we gave them the order number they finally found our pizza and she was like oh it'll be a few more minutes ended up being 20 more minutes after we got there and they had 30 minutes before that to get the pizza ready and done so it took them almost an hour to get our pizza and finally when they motion for us to come in to get the pizza it was cold and hardly had any cheese on it it was a margarita pizza. The first time two weeks ago when we got pizza from there it was good but the staff was still not very knowledgeable and had problems finding our food so all in all the staff is the problem it seems like they're lazy , past two times we've gone in they're just standing around not doing a thing and nobody wanted to come greet us. While no designated pet area, there is a nice open space to the left of the store that is lit and makes for a great space for pups. Even has a trash can nearby just in case... Inside of the store is your standard RaceTrac with all the offerings you are accustomed to from the beer cooler, hotdogs, pizzas, coffee, drinks, snacks, etc... Service was meh honestly. The two associates were not very friendly and oddly kept to themselves, even when ringing out customers. Cleanliness could use some focus as well, as the restrooms were a bit rough. Overall, I'm a fan of RaceTrac's and wouldn't mind stopping back by this location again.

The restroom location is tucked in the back, outside the view of the counter. The door was locked, so I patiently waited outside the restroom. After five or more minutes, one customer behind me in line chose to leave instead of waiting any longer. I knocked on the door (again) louder than before. A customer familiar with the store walked up as I knocked and when there was no response, he commented that the restroom is not normally locked. The exchange between the other customer and the male employee behind the counter suggested he was not surprised it was locked. When we returned to the restroom area, three women were waiting, so I unlocked the women's restroom for them. Inside the men's, there are two urinales and a toilet stall. I was surprised it would be locked, since it was setup for use by multiple customers at the same time. On my way out, I noticed the handle on the entry door did not have a manual locking mechanism. The installed handles can only be turned when a key is inserted, similar to a handle used for closets with restricted access. I propped the door open before exiting the restrooms and let the male employee know I was returning the keys and he told me to put them on the counter. I suggested he post a sign to let customers know to grab the key if the restrooms are locked. He said he normally tells customers when he sees them waiting, and I explained I was back there waiting for a while. I then heard an aggressive female voice call out, "How are we supposed to know?! Huh?!?! How are we supposed to know!?, adding a "sir" after making eye contact with me but maintaining the disrespectful tone. Honestly, I was caught off guard by her tone, because everything was cordial until that moment. The female employee was walking toward me, so I suggested to her that she would not have to "know" a customer is waiting if they post a sign. The customer would notify them. Her response suggests this is not the first time a customer has been in this situation with the female employee, because she began explaining that customers are the one locking the doors. As I attempted to suggest installing handles appropriate for a public restroom, she interrupted me times, blaming customers for removing the piece of wood used to prop open the doors. I then started to comment that a woman may not want a door propped open if someone could see even a small part of the inside of the restroom from outside the door, and the woman interrupt me again, arguing that customers are the problem, proving to me that she has no desire to improve the situation. I then stated I am only making suggestions from the perspective of a customer, and she can do whatever she wants and began walking out. She then responded that she "CAN do whatever" she wants, and I told her I hope she has a great day and stopped wasting my time. I hope she is not the owner and someone with a desire to improve the store reads this review, choosing one or both easy solutions: install a sign and/or replace the door handle.

This is a small gas station with just a few gas pumps, and the convenience store is small but has a lot of things packed into it. Physically, this store, very close to the GA/TN state line, looked like it needed some TLC. We were the only customers inside at about noon on a weekday.

Hard not to love a gas station that features American and Foreign craft beers (?!!) and has their own fresh beer taps...(?!!!). I had two off the wall new German sour Hefeweizen beers and was blown away with how good they were. I spied a full collection of American craft beers in the glass showcase and elsewhere. This is the beginning of something awesome...and I was told that the owner (who magically appeared as we were talking) could actually special order beers (not bulk, just 1-off, I assume). Simply AMAZING. I didn't know this kind of thing existed. I will give them another try soon.

Small old building that is well stocked with the latest snacks and all grades of ethanol free gas…read more I prefer this location because the gas pumping machine has separate pumps for all the grades so you know what you are getting. I don't know of any other place that offers 93 HIGH octane fuel that is also ethanol free gas. The pumps have a Very small clearance (width wize,) so be careful with bigger automobiles especially if you have a trailer. The parking spaces are small and only a small area is for parking.The pump area also has trash cans.The staff are quite and helpful. I have bought gas, GOOD GAS, here for many years. Convenient location near freeway. They are also next to many food locations. They offer many types of lottery games and a wide selection of cold beer.
