I admit it, I love Costco. There are so many things to love, even for a shopping hater like me. Books, electronics, batteries, wonderful AJ's-like cookies, wine, cold water lobster tails....I can go on and on. Many people seem to forget their manners while shopping here, but I've learned to give as good as I get. The checkout lines are always full, but then, so are the lines at Albertson's. This company is just stellar. Just returned a mattress and box springs that was 6 months + old for a full refund - no questions or hassle. We tried everything including putting sheets of wood under it to make it comfortable for us but it never happened. After waking up with a back ache for months we finally decided to buy something else after Costco promised us a full refund. And they did it exactly as promised. Couldn't be happier! read more

There's a reason why its called the $200 Club. It's tough to get outta there spending less than a hundred or so....no matter how "small" the trip! On the bright side, they've got an amazing array of samples, friendly employees, and the Kirkland brand is MUCH higher quality than other "generic" brands....actually, its higher quality than a lot of other "name" brands, too! They literally sell everything, too. From food to flooring. From medicine to furniture. Appliances, pet products - everything! I only give 4 stars instead of 5 because it can be a bit overwhelming, overcrowded, and just generally intense! But I'd take Costco craze over Walmart-shopping any day of the week! read more

Although it tends to encourage over consumption, if I can control myself Costco offers high quality at bargain prices. Added to all of this is the fact that Costco's CEO supported Barack Obama for President. I love Costco, but I hate this Costco simply due to the horrendous parking they have at this location. There is literally one light, which doesn't fit many cars, that turns onto Grant. Then for some reason this Costco gets crazy packed, way more than the one in Marana does. If you can, pass on this one, and try the other locations that they have in Tucson. read more

Let me start by saying I love Costco and i've always have had great customer service here, but today I had received remarkable service from a employee named Marcus whom worked in the cellular devices area of Costco. Marcus clearly had only but the best intentions towards his customers. Marcus had helped me and my mother out today tremendously by addressing all of our concerns regarding our cellphones, and made sure both me and my mom left with a smile on our faces. For this I will always and only go back to Marcus regarding anything to do with my cellular device and suggest everyone else to do so as well! read more

I canceled my membership because I only bought from the west side Costco and did not think it was worth it. This east side Costco seems to be expanding all the time, and they have increased parking spaces too. They have a little space in between parking spaces, so that is cool. It is the newest location, but they are building a south side Costco! While I am in the store, I compare prices online and things in bulk and of the electronic nature are usually at least 10-15 dollars cheaper. Some of the packaged meat and fish seem expensive, but I love their rotisserie chicken. They have a seafood section that has a wonderful selection - lobster, scallops, and super fresh jumbo shrimp (20 ct/1 lb/$10). Mmm. This location seems to have more of a selection of random stuff like makeup and random electronics. Some cool deals I saw today were a $3.99 Arizona Highways 2011 photo calendar and a $16.99 10" poinsettia (selling for $40+ at florists). This Costco is busy and it reminds me of China with no personal space around you, but even though I don't really eat the samples, it's still worth it to go to Costco. Plus half of Tucson buys the bottled water and 1-ply toilet paper :). Oh yes, the food stand is on the inside of this store so you technically need to have a membership card to buy a $1.50 hot dog/soda or $2 piece of pizza... read more

I needed a pallet of bread and a 55-gallon drum of butter, so I went to Costco. Service was friendly and checkout was quick. I'm not sure why people are complaining about the parking or other customers - it's not fair to the management or associates of this location to rate them based on d-bag customers. It is amazing that this Costco can get the best help of all the stores I go to.Thank you one and all for your consideration and for the superb upkeep of the electric carts, for without them disabled people could not shop and in addition the great help unloading at the car.This Costco has always had the best managers who go out of their way to assist and listen. I like the way I am treated by the majority in fact I cannot think of anyone who does not practice courtesy. There is no on better person than Kent who has for years earned our respect at the front end, and Alex in electronics.I dropped my Sams club card just because of the big difference in the two places. I like Costco no matter where it is... Costco is what Costco is... I was only in the area for this one so I will most likely be using the Southern most Costco more often. One of the few negatives are the employees checking the receipts on the way out were really slow and that was annoying. read more

I was just there between 4:30pm-5:00pm shopping for water and other essential needs. When I got to the cashier she was being very unprofessional and rude. I kept telling her that is not my wine, but she kept insisting it was my purchase. The person behind me said it was her bottle, but she ignored her and myself. She kept insisting it was my bottle. I was very violated when she cursed under her breath. She also acted very ignorant and childish. When I walked away without purchasing my goods she was saying in a loud and obnoxiously singing voice, "Byeee BYE! Bye bye! Bye bye!" I feel this is very unprofessional and dissatisfying. This does not help the Costco motto of being in a safe environment. There was kids and other elder folks there. A cashier should not be saying profanity at all, be uneducated, be unkempt, and bad odor. They should look professional because they're representing Costco as a whole. Just got home from Costco after filling up my car with high test. I filled up my other vehicle earlier this week at $2.59 a gallon. Today it has been reduced to $2.29. The staff standing at the entrance is not following Costco's policy! My husband and I have been members of Costco for years. We bought Costco Cash Card for our son to shop by himself as he is not a member. When we bought the Cash Card, we were told by the manager at a different location that non-members can use the Cash Card for going into the store, only to make sure the Cash Card balance is enough to pay for the merchandise. Now, our son tried to get into this store with the Costco Cash Card, the staff denied his entry and told him that he MUST have a membership card to get in, and also told him the Cash Card is only for paying merchandise, not entry. Then I called the customer service, the lady said non-members can use Costco Cash Card to get in and pay...PLEASE pass this message to all of the staffs standing at the entrance, don't want to be insulted again! read more

Order a pizza on the phone and when I went to pick it up I had forgotten my Costco card. They made me wait 30 minutes to get my Costco card number. Then I had to wait I. Line for 20 min to pay for the pizza. This is ridiculous, I pay money to shop here and there has to be better more efficient way to handle things. read more

I was filling up twice a week at this gas station but will never do it again. Yesterday 4/24/2018) around 5:45 pm another customer came over to my car and began banging on the windows and yelling at me as I finished pumping gas. He backed me up into the pump so that I was trapped between my truck and the gas pump and started yelling at me to go back where I came from and "we don't need your kind around here". I have out of state plates. I'm giving Costco one star because There was a gas station attendant there and he did NOTHING. I had to drive to a friend's house and call the police to report it. read more

My flooring experience was not good. Had I been new construction, things might have been fine. I wanted tile that looked like wood, but once the carpet was ripped up, my floor was uneven and it couldn't be done without considerable additional expense. At that point, I was left on my own to figure out a solution which was not good. It took a couple of months to get things going again, and I ended up back with carpet that was probably more expensive than had I just gone to a big box store. There was a $250 rebate just for using Costco so that will help. read more

I have had a handful of good experiences at this location but it appears that they have made some recent changes for the worst. The propane center is no longer served by the tire center and when ringing the buzzer for assistance no one came up to help. After ten minutes of waiting I asked the tire center if someone could help out at propane. They responding with "we no longer help with propane thats a different department". That they didn't even reach out to the correct department to help me out or direct me to them. After another ten minutes of waiting and a long line at propane one of the tire associates ended up helping. If the tire center no longer helps with propane then they need to fix the fact that the buzzer for assistance buzzes the tire center. That said, in the same costco trip Im waiting for assistance at the jewelry department and have been waiting 30minutes for help. I have spoken with three different associates who said "i will be right with you" but have not returned. With this extra time I'm wasting waiting here, I'm taking the liberty of writing this wonderful review. Id strongly recommend to avoid this Costco location for its poor service. read more

So disappointed in the customer appreciation they supposedly have! I did not realize my membership had expired as I go with family often. Today I went shopping, as I was checking out the cashier informed me that my membership was expired. He told me I obviously hadn't used it in a while, I told him why, after that he began to unload my cart with my child still in the cart and pushed it off to the side like my child didn't even matter. I was so embarrassed and felt as though I did something wrong!! I took my child and thought about renewing my membership but I don't think I will now. I'm disappointed in you Costco!! I'm not sure why I love wasting time at Costco so much. But I swear I can spend so much time in Costco when I don't even need anything. I love the samples. I love the good deals. I think everyone loves Costco to some extent. My only complaints are... 1. If you actually need to go in just to grab something quickly it's frustrating because there are constantly people stopping randomly everywhere with no awareness of who they are blocking (I suppose this isn't Costco's fault...) and 2. Sometimes they have products for a long time and then it just disappears! Never to be for sale at Costco again. read more

While I am a member, its has to cost affective to join. Some things are just no practical, like 25 rolls of TP if you leave in an apartment. Most of the folks shopping here seem to be brain dead, they will run into your cart, then look at you as though you rammed them! Other times they will stop in the middle of the isle and stare off blankly, you have to navigate around them while they are in their stupor. If you like loads of mindless people shopping for items they don't need then go here. read more
