My husband and I went to Costco to sign up for a membership. Maria Louisa helped us at the membership desk. She was incredibly kind and helpful as she laid out all of the membership options and credit card rewards. We signed up for the executive membership and the credit card, we although the membership costs $120 we will receive a money card for $60 that we can trade in for cash at the membership desk. The warehouse itself is fantastic and everything you would expect from a club. From electronics, to alcohol, baked and prepared foods, household supplies, clothing, outdoors, wellness, optical, pharmacy, to of course a massive grocery department. With Costco's guarantee return policy you don't even need a receipt because they track all member purchases in their computer system. It's a win win! read more

When the test was over he left me and showed it to someone else. I asked him how come I could hear him perfectly with my one working hearing aid. No answer!!!! No doubt the worst Costco Food Court I've ever visited. I stopped in for gas and a pizza while passing through town for the night. I ordered and paid from the kiosk and waited 15 minutes before approaching the pickup counter. After much confusion and three people handling my receipt, they determined my order was never received. I was told it would be another 10 minutes, by this point the store was closed. At 8:37, thirty minutes into my wait I watched an employee without gloves handle his phone and then begin pulling my pizza out. While placing it in the box, his bare hands, which touched his phone, handled my pizza. At this point I walked out without the pizza and mentioned my concerns to a manager who was dismissive by saying, "Well they wash their hands a lot." Are you kidding me? I should also mention that while waiting I observed some very rude interactions with food employees and other customers. I'm just glad this isn't my local Costco. read more

The FIGO pet insurance they represent is THE WORST pet insurance you can get. We got this for our second dog which was a bad investment. You file a claim and they will deny it as they always dr notes, more and more info than the detailed billing statements. The last two claims the denied were finally partially paid after the dr having to write them. We just got denied 2 more claims of over $600. They never answered my emails so called them and got every excuse under the sun. They paid zero. We have PETS BEST with our first dog and they pay, answer your emails and don't need an act of God paperwork from the dr. DO USE FIGO! read more

After having to get a manager to help me sign in using the QR code on a small sign and nobody at the optical department ever looking at me to find out what I needed, which was buying 2 sets of glasses. The manager told me to stay close because they will call out my number. I did not hear my number called out C207 but I did hear C208 called out. I asked staff about my and she apologized because she made a mistake and told me a lady with a green shirt will be over to help. I waited 15 minutes and after having to wait over an hour and a half I decided to leave because I had another appointment in town and live over 70 miles away. I gave my RX to a staff with my phone number. I told her I have another appointment to go to and to call to take care of business over the phone. We visited this Costco today. The parking lot is huge and there is a good reason. I've never seen this many cars at a Costco! Other than being super busy, this Costco looked like others I've been in. It had numerous food stations all along the west side of the store with lots of variety in what they offered. The check-outs all had long lines but to Costco's credit, they moved along quickly. One disappointment- while we were picking out wine we were told that this Costco doesn't give 10% off like the Ohio Costco's that we are used to give. We didn't buy a case. THE WORST COSTCO! Why all caps you ask? BECAUSE THIS IS THE WORST COSTCO PERHAPS ON THE PLANET! I've been to Costco all over the US from coast to coast and in two other countries. We are a Costco family and have been my whole life. I follow Costco Reddit, IG, and I'm in a Costco FB group. If I say this Costco is bad, please believe me and save yourself the headache. I've given them the benefit of the doubt so many times for so many years but I'm never coming back here. The employees are awful. From the greeters to the food court (especially the food court!) to the cashiers. I try to use Self-Checkout to avoid dealing with them but inevitably, because the machines always malfunction you end up standing there with everyone else waiting for one of the red vests to come help. It's a nightmare! Food court - pre-Covid and now, doesn't matter, it takes ages to get your food. The machines are broken. Every time I've been here the soda machines have been dispensing water instead of flavor it's supposed to. If you happen to get the attention of one of the angry food court employees they will shrug and say there's nothing they can do. Something is off with their pizza...I've had many slices of Costco pizza and theirs just isn't right. Maybe my taste buds are just rejecting it because it came from this Costco but I digress... I've had a membership since I was 18 and I lost a significant amount of weight since my first Costco membership ID photo. After being harassed and questioned if I was the actual membership holder enough times (because apparently I don't look fat enough to be the same person), I got tired of it and got a new picture taken. I'm still bitter about this... Cosco on Grant has the worst tire customer service. They sell and that is it! Purchased tires and had a flat due to a road hazard. I called and they took infor over phone and said my tire would be fixed within two hours. Drove 30 miles to sit in their store 4 hours to be told that they only take scheduled clients. Andrew is the initial contact and he was pleasant, however, apparently told us wrong infor. Contrary Matt told us after 3 hours that our tire would be fixed within 30 to 45 minutes. Again, after that time Matt rudely told us that our car would be done today and they close at 6:00. I said are you telling me we have to wait until 6:00? I said we can't wait 7 hours for a tire repair. He then responded, do you wants your keys? He said walkins are always moved and continually moved down below any scheduled clients. No one told us that infor. Then he proceeded to say he leaves at 6:00 no matter what and he is going to see his kids after he leaves work??? read more

Costco on a Friday night,yes. I love waking around looking at all the items. I don't care that they're big and a little more expensive because the quality is outstanding. Number one pick on what I love? The cheese. Yes, I love their Tillamook and Cabot specialty cheeses. Second pick, the meat. My home Costco is Cypress, California. My second choice is Fullerton. But hands-down, I've got the best people working in Cypress. It's a newer store, has three gasoline pumps per line which moves fast, and is 4.5 miles from my house. I always say, money spent at Costco as money well spent! The Hearing Center staff are ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL. Now Costco doesn't allow you to place a pizza order unless you're ordering five boxes of pizza or more !!! I used to call ahead because there was always a 30 to 45 minute wait and I was told that I had to go into the store till place my order. I arrived at the store and I grabbed the basket because I had things to purchase, but I wanted to place my pizza order prior to so I wasn't standing around waiting. I asked the lady if I can go towards the left so I can place my order first and go grab my items and she said that it was only an exit and that customers weren't allowed in that way. so I go through the main entrance, I parked my cart between the first two rows that are usually blocked off. One of the workers saw what I was doing and said that I had to go through the path to get to the cafeteria. I asked her where the path was, and she pointed it out to me, which requires you to walk through a line of people and carts that are waiting to check out. When I got to the cafeteria, I wanted to know what the wait time was because if it was long, I wasn't going to place an order. I had to wait in line to ask one of the workers. What the wait time was and she informed me that the wait would not belong. I went over to the kiosk to pay for my pizza and usually I get my pizza cut in extra slices, but the kiosk does not allow you to make that request. Pizza was paid for and went to the window to ask the gentleman if they can cut my pizza in extra slices. He turned around and grab two boxes of pizza, now I see it's supposed to be like Little Caesars hot and ready pizzas. He opened the box to showed me how it was cut and asked if it was OK. I had no choice, but to take the pizza that was already made unless I wanted to wait. I ended up having a walk around the store with a box of pizza while trying to grab my items. This is the most inconvenient process for the customers and baffled out how this is even the new process. I don't know if the whole objective of this process is to have less people purchasing pizzas without you having to raise your prices, but the customers definitely aren't thought of. read more

Bought a Samsung washer and dryer online, and during the sixth time we used the washer it started making a horribly loud ratcheting sound when the drum agitates. Called and reported the problem immediately and asked if they could replace just the washer with a new one since something is seriously wrong with it, but the dryer works fine. I was told the appliance division would call within a day or two to schedule swapping out the washer. A week later and several phone calls and Costco is kicking the can of responsibility down the road. The people on the phone are pleasant, but can't give us any information about this being resolved in a timely manner. The have to talk to the warehouse people who have to work with the vendor who have to get back to someone else in corporate- yada yada yada. Last call they asked if we wanted to schedule them to pick up the broken washer -- why oh why would we want to stay home an extra day just so they can take it away if they can't bring a replacement? Beware of buying their appliances. read more

The food court always offers some great snacks and even full 18" pizzas for $9.95. Just be prepared to wait a bit for the pizza to be cooked (15-20 minutes) we usually order when we first walk in and pick up on the way out. This review is strictly for the Auto & Tire Center. I scheduled an appointment to rotate the tires. I was surprised to be charged $25.99, when just the week before I had taken my other car to a different tire store and they charged me $0.00. My appointment with Costco was at 18:30, and I arrived a few minutes early. We walked around for :30 and I decided to check on the progress. I checked the bay and the car had not even been lifted up. After another :15, I checked the bay again and the car was just now being raised to complete the work. I received the call :15 later that the car was ready. I question the rebalance portion of the work as there was just not enough time to balance and rotate the tires in :15. I am a Costco loyalist and I will certainly continue to shop there, but the Auto & Tire Center has lost my business. I will not support such service. read more

I really really try to avoid Costco for anything to be honest, but my work takes me here from time to time. My main complaint in this place is that 75% of the employees always act like you are doing them major inconvenience when you talk to them (if you can find them). I at times need to ask where something is because they move things around so much, or don't follow the logical place to put something. You would think K cups are with the resg of the coffee right? Hell no they put those with the actual coffee machines, on the other side of the store. Stuff like that. Like I said I avoid it at all costs, but at times get stuck going. read more

So who isn't a fan of Costco? It's only the most amazing place on earth. They have ANYTHING you need. You need a million pounds of apples? Got it. You need a six month supply of men's deodorant? On the other hand, you can inquire of almost any other customer for help. If you're looking for quality items at the best price this is one of the best places to shop. It's typical that a bath mat, for instance, at Walmart might cost you $20 and at Costco it may be $17-24. The difference you're going to see is in the quality and longevity of similar items compared side by side. Rustler jeans = junk. Costco now has online food delivery. You can get all the awesome products without dealing with all those confused shoppers... awesome, right? Well, not really. To start, Costco offers 3 types of delivery through their website. First for non-food items (appliances, vitamins, clothing), 3-5 day shipping, most of the time it's free. 2-day delivery grocery program for packaged food (snacks, toilet papers, spices), free shipping if you order more than $75. 2-hour Instacart delivery that includes all perishable food (meat, bread, fresh fruits) and the fee depends on how far you live from Costco. I'm about a mile away and the fee is $5.99. I compared the prices from my store receipts to the website and there is a significant mark up. The markup for the 2-day delivery range from 10%-25%, and Instacart is a consistent 25% markup for all items. YIKES! Seems like the non-food item prices are the same in store and online, but my data is limited since I compared 2 items. It's disappointing to have such a big markup, but I understand why Costco is doing it since the profit margins are so slim. It has to charge the labor and shipping somewhere else. I'd rather Costco grows responsibility than giving out free stuff to impact its bottom line. 10%-25% is pretty steep, but if I really don't want to deal with the crowds it's somewhat worth it.
