This is one of the better CVSs' I have been to in my life. It's convenient and open 24 hours which is good for if you're a student at the University of Arizona. I made several trips here when I was a student because it was convenient and of course good deals at CVS made it worth going to. The staff were nice and professional as well as friendly and the place was overall decently stocked up. Was the closest to a grocery store I could get unless you take the CatTran to Safeway in order to get groceries. However, this still worked out in the end and was good to get snacks and other decent stuff at if you need food. read more

Don't call yourselves "Minute Clinic"........more like hours clinic. If the provider felt it was so important to spend 1 hour with a patient, either they are incompetent or the patient should be hospitalized. At least the waiting area cleared out! read more

asked kindly for assistance to unlock a 5 dollar personal care item was met with rude and biting dialogue. Then when I clarified the item I wanted which they incorrectly grabbed I was met with "are you serious " and other under the breath comments. Then when I asked if I did anything incorrectly all I was told was go to self check out. I understand that you don't like your job I get that but this was unacceptable. First order of business: Major kudos to the pharmacy team! This group is attentive, efficient, patient and highly helpful. I've never had a problem filling a prescription here, and they usually have it handled much earlier than expected. Sometimes by the hours. Dinging stars for two main reasons. First, parking is a beast. The University of Arizona's paid visitor's parking lot is directly across the street, and there is street parking along University Boulevard, also for pay during regular hours. But why would you pay to park just to go to CVS? Really, this place caters to the University crowd. And maybe folks staying in the nearby hotel and who live just off campus. And, point two: Pricing. Yes, CVS generally rings up a bit higher than, say, Walgreens or Rite-Aid. ...do you have those in Tucson? But the upcharge is notable on everything because, well, students! That goes for lotions and hair products and snacks and cereals and event the liquor section. The selection of cards, I have found, stick primarily to birthdays and holidays. When graduation season rolls around, you can also find a decent number of cards for grads. There also appears (strangely) to be a decent number of cards for unfortunate circumstances, like hospital stays, illnesses and deaths. Anyway... There is also a little pre-made deli section. And you can purchase frozen breakfast sandwiches and burritos and the like. Plus, there is an row almost entirely devoted to UA memorabilia. And you can buy things like laundry baskets and hangers. This must be one of the worst pharmacies I have ever attended. I have been considering switched all my meds over to cvs because it's real close to my house. I also needed my new flu shot and covid. I went on to the website and the sites said walk-in welcome. There's one person ahead of me and there's four people in the pharmacy area. I can tell by his experience mine is going to be bad. He's asking several questions about how long script is going to take and ask a question about the med itself. He intrupted and told don't "waste your breath, you will need to wait until pick up and ask the pharmacist". Who knows what his question was it could have been easily answered such as can I get this a 90 day supply. I will never know since he wasn't allowed to ask. Next, they are all chatting about food and everything else among themselves. Finally, guy ask me what he can do for me I mentioned shots first and couldn't get 2nd portion out he said step down to next window. There I get rude. She didn't even look up from her computer which had nothing to do with me. She said we're not taking walk-in. I ask why it's not busy at all.. She said that doesn't matter all it's her discretion. So, I ask if I went and booked appt would she do it within next 5. She said yes. Her reasoning was she gets discretion on walk-ins and she doesn't except them NO matter busy or not. I refused to book. I left and won't be back. The web said walk-ins welcome they should make every effort to accommodate these patients and should only be turned away if they are to busy or stock not some ego. If i could give this CVS 0 stars I would. I have strep and my medication got sent over. When I called THREE TIMES they said they didn't have it. When my doctor called THREE TIMES they said they had it. First the pharmacist on the phone after I told her I have strep asked if my prescription was for Lexapro.... Im no pharmacist but who take Lexapro for a Bacterial Strep Throat? They do not know what they are doing. read more

The worker, Stanley, was so rude and made me and my friend uncomfortable when we were checking out. He rolled his eyes at us and asked unnecessary questions. The WORST part is that after we left our items without purchasing them because of how awkward he made the exchange, he proceeded to loudly speak badly about us despite not knowing us at all. We know this happened because our friends were still in the store (I assume he didn't know that) and him gossiping made them so uncomfortable they then left. I'm not going to use this CVS anymore because Stanley made me feel judged and uncomfortable when we were not doing anything wrong. read more

I don't understand why some people think giving attitude or screaming at someone will make a difference. I was sampling a make up and the lady goes"MAM THOSE ARENT FOR SAMPLING" from across the store. I work in the hospitality industry and that is never how you talk to a customer. honestly shocked she has a job and it made my visit horrible, i just wanted to get out when i usually would look around and spend a lot of money... read more

I've been getting my scripts filled here for the past five years because this location's pharmacy staff is fast, patient, friendly, and informed. Yes parking is difficult. That's why I go there after 5:00 pm on week days or anytime during the day on weekends when parking is free at the U of A Visitor Lot on the NW corner of Euclid and University. Added bonus, stop at one of several student bars along University Ave. to wash down your meds. read more

Customer service rep was user helpful when the credit card machine was rebooting in the middle of the night and I needed my medicine!

Came in after a quick workout. Staff was friendly and helpful. I use to work at CVS, it's nice to see they still push for friendly and helpful service. Self check out was quick and easy. read more

Great service at the pharmacy. My prescriptions are always ready very quickly. The pharmacists are knowledgeable and helpful.

Finally, a much needed pharmacy in the area. The place is huge..HUGE. Fantastic selection of everything from gum, to makeup, to pain relievers, to spirits. Friendly staff and self-check out for the busier hours. read more

#1 I am so freaking happy a pharmacy opened near the University. The next closest is Safeway which is not at all convenient for students. #2 The customer service is amazing. I'm sure after the daily grind sets in, this will fade a bit, but for now at least they have a lot of employees, everything is well stocked and clean and the employees are incredibly helpful. For example; yesterday I was in and used about 20 of the promotional coupons, one of which was for a bottle of sleep aid. When I got home, I couldn't find the bottle anywhere. I figured it had fallen out of the bag or got left at the store. Since it was on my way, I stopped in to see if they had a box behind the counter of 'shit that people forgot to take' . A manager was on duty and said they had no such box, but that she remembered me and trusted me so she let me take one for free. I really hope this location keeps up the good work! read more

Today 12-2-16 I was in the driveway thru, of CVS in Tucson AZ corner of Wetmore and Oracle rd picking up a prescription. They were very busy, when the person that was helping me put the bag in the pass thru he said that my credit card was in the bag, it wasn't. After checking the bags very carefully there was no card. So I went back and explained to all 3 personnel that I didn't get my card. The man that originally helped me wouldn't even look at me, he ignored me totally.They acted like I was lying to them. They checked the video and said the card was put in the bag. and were very rude about it, they were discussing. I felt helpless they wouldn't even look at me let alone talk to be, totally out of line. I checked my truck again, nothing. I decided to walk thru the drive thru, There was my card right in the middle of the drive thru. cars were driving right over it missing the card because it had ended up in the middle. I think he must have missed the bag and landed in the bottom of pass thru drawn and when I pulled the bag it dragged the card out hitting the pavement. I looked up into the drive thru window showing them that I had found my card, they all just ignored me again. I'll never go to such a horrible group of individuals and a store that would employ such miserable people. read more

Last week, when I was buying skincare, the cashier made mistake after mistake and acted impatiently, as if I were the one making the mistakes! Today, I went in again, and the scanning machine was not working. I looked the manager straight in the eye, twice, and told him it was not working. He did not move an inch from where he was sitting, nor did he respond at all. Finally the cashier helped me out (a different one from the one who had served me last week). When the manager, the same person who would not even acknowledge that I was talking to him, was checking me out, he scanned my gift card and then when he was finished he handed me the receipt only. I said, "The card?" He then picked it out of the bin, where he had tossed it straight after scanning it, just because he felt like it. He handed it to me, and did not even apologise. These are not the only two times I have had problems at the check-out area. I have been frequenting this branch for over a year, and I only do so because I haven't a car and do not think other CVS branches are any better. read more
