What can I say about Costco that hasn't already been said. This place has lots of stuff, some that you can't live with out some that is just to cool to live without. And if you want an industrial size vat of mayo they probably have it. The one thing that drives me BSC about them is they are always moving things around, you just get to know where the things you want are and they rearrange things. Yes I know why they do it, so you have to look around and you will probably find something you can't live without, but it still drives me crazy. And don't even think about getting out of there for under 100.00. But still I do like this place and will continue to shop here. read more

I've been there with my elderly mom and you never have toilet paper ... so you now have elderly Tuesday and Thursday hours so we went today you had young people going in while we are in the parking lot .. them moved to 10th street rapped around the park for a couple hours the the worker I asked they do you have hours for elderly and disabled way out by the street he said you should leave the time you get in there won't be anything left so I called talked to the manager I said so many people in the first line look younger than me I'm 54 so he told me it's against the law to show they age ‍ come on know you can tell and if you are disabled like me and my mom we have papers to show in are wallet we have metal plates and in pain how hard is it to check ID only ones that will get mad is if they lying !!!! I have a love hate relationship with Costco Gas Stations. LOVE: They are the cheapest place around, usually by 10 cents a gallon. HATE: That the people that go to costco gas except for my self and Paul ARE SUPER RUDE. Calm the "F" down. None of us want to wait in line to get gas. If you are in such a hurry go up to the Chevron that charges 20 cents more a gallon...you can get right in and right out ,because no one is waiting in line. read more

My latest experience with my local Costco showed that the clerk who checked me out at her register, Patty S., has great courage and frankly, chutzpah. She had the temerity to tell another member to not cut in line and demand her way, letting another woman in front of me and myself go first - because we were specifically invited to her register stand. Patty held her ground, standing the woman down who cut in line, and life went on as usual. Very, very gutsy. . . and I found out later, standard operating procedure for Costco employees. This is how they are in fact trained. . . to refuse the pushy line cutters with their carts and stick with the members they have invited to come to their line to come, serving them *first*. If more stores would do this, we'd have a different, less pushy, less impatient, more caring and a more physically safe world in which to live in. Enjoy costco for the prices and the bulk, one thing that isn't so enjoyable is the line system they have, most of the time it is very crowded, and i think they can do a better job at rearranging the area so that there is more room etc. For the customers waiting to check out(also for the customers that are leaving), but i will say only a few times it took a little long to get checked out, most of the time it looks like it will take awhile but ends up being a pretty quick process read more

The day before Christmas Eve, I accompanied my two cousins to Costco in Lancaster, CA to pick up a few last minute items two hours before closing for the day. When my family and I reached the cashier, this heavy-set white lady supervisor began harassing the young black cashier about removing his Costco Label beanie cap. The cashier asked for someone to replace him while he take this matter up with management. I was personally offended by the way this lady approached him in front of the customers and was impressed on how the cashier responded to this racial accusation regarding his attire. The weather was very cold this day and the beanie seems perfectly acceptable for the location. I really don't think the supervisor would approach this cashier with her request if he was wearing a cowboy hat. Costco needs to send their supervisors to diversity training to prevent low employee morale within its organization. That was very offensive to me as a black man and to my culture regarding certain attire. She has a lot of nerve making remarks about his attire when her attire wasn't something to write home about. This situation could have been handled in a more professional way in private, not in front of customers. First of all, I was a faithful Costco customer for over 20 plus years until last year. I began to notice the price began to rise for various items such as butter, cheese, meat, and soda. But the straw that broke the camel back for me was when Costco raised the executive membership. That's when I threw in the towel and switched over to Sam's Club. There are some things I do miss regarding Costco such as their Kirkland toilet paper, crystal light packets, Kirkland trashbags, eggs, milk, gas, car wash, propane gas, hot pizza, salted roasted peanuts, and Ziplock freezer bags. This Costco lives up to any other standard 4 star Costco does, because they are all the same. I give the Costcos that put the ready made food court (Pizza, Hot Dogs, Churros etc.) inside of their stores only 3 stars because I don't think it's cool that some do and some don't. That being said, I do wonder if this one has the food inside due to the extreme weather and high winds in these parts. The gas at Costco is sometimes a better deal. Love my costco. Place is always clean and i always end up getting a lot of stuff. I come here to get one thing and come out with a cart full of stuff. Because they make me feel i need it lol This is where i get roasted chicken its so yummy and a good size for 5.00. And of course lets not forget after were done with our grocery to go to their fastfood area. Pizzas are huge and the berry yogurt is good. Only complain is the very long line at the customer service because their staff like to talk a lot. And of course the customers will engaged in the conversation so we end up waiting for a long time. So maybe they can add an express lane for us who just want to do things fast and efficient. But overall its great. read more

As someone who enjoys a good deal, I have to say Costco really warmed my frugal heart. From the moment you walk in, you feel like you've wandered into a club of savings, having to show your member card at the door and being welcomed by friendly greeters. Don't say I didn't warn you though, you have to be really ready to throw down quite a bit of cash, or exercise a huge amount of restraint in your purchases. All their food items are sold in bulk, so don't go in thinking "Oh, I just think I'll just get a bit of mustard and some mayonnaise". You'll wind up with 2 jumbo sized squeeze bottles of mustard and a rather frightening tub of mayo that you aren't sure exactly what you're going to do with. However if you are one of those people who enjoy a good slather of mayo on everything, then go for it :) They have a large array of frozen foods (their frozen cheese pizza - Kirkland brand are really good and perfect for a quick meal or snack at home), and their prices are very reasonable for the size of the packages. Wonderful selection of fruits and veggies, and their cheese selection is very good. Their ready made meals and baked goods is where most people say Costco shines, and while they are very nice, they aren't the best I've ever had. In fact I was a little disappointed with their famous pumpkin pie. It just wasn't as good as I had come to expect. Also, I'm not thrilled that they don't put nutritional information on any of their ready to eat items, hence the 4 star rating. They don't take credit cards, just debit and cash, and there are no plastic bags in this place. It's either bring your own, or use one of the boxes they provide, better for the environment :) All in all, great value for money, and I shop here regularly. read more

It is hard not to give Costco less than 5 just from the way they test everything that comes into the store. They treat their employees with respect and pay them what they are worth. So much as a woman who was going to CSUB with me to become a teacher decided to drop out of college to stay with Costco because she didn't need 4 years of college for a good paying with benefits job. Good for her. The employees are always helpful and I love their free samples. So yummy. The only negative thing I would say is I have no more room for all the bulk items in my house. It would be nice if someone came up with an app that paired people together to split the items and costs. Hey that sounds like a great idea. it's mine first if it isn't an app yet. Lol read more

THIS IS A REVIEW OF THE PHARMACY ONLY. I'm a nanny that cares for an 8yo boy (and his dad) and both get there meds at this Costco. I get mine at QUARTZ HILL PHARMACY. Every time I go to pick up the wait time is longer than need be for all the employees that are working there. I turn the corner and see that there is only one person in line and foolishly think "this is gonna be quick. It never is. And whether it's communication issues or other reasons I have to come back. After doing a little math: it takes me 2.333 trips for every one pick up. AND for every one person in line expect to stand 20 minutes per person. I recommend everyone go to my pharmacy. I love QHP! I've given two stars only because some of the girls that work the counter are nice to look at and are nice to me. I went in to the Meat area and requested for FRESH flap meat. A guy by the name of Louie insisted that the flap meat that was already packaged and outside was from today however, the date was from yesterday. I asked him to kindly cut me fresh flap meat but instead he made me wait 30 minutes until his supervisor came back from lunch to start cutting mine. I questioned him why wait when they can cut themselves. I was waiting patiently until I noticed there were 3 men cutting inside the meat department and when I approached them they said they were never informed about my request. Horrible service. Did some walking around the warehouse. Finally stopped for some food by the end of my trip. Ordered a chicken bake, drink and a slice of pizza. Got the drink and pizza but not the bake. People after me ordered and THEY GOT THEIR CHICKEN BAKES BEFORE ME!!! WTF got my money back. Guess I have to take my business to another Costco location. HATE their COVID policies. They have no way to confirm that people 60 years or old actually shop during the senior hours. And they're always moving the store around making me walk around the entire store to find the stuff I need. I don't think they enforce limitations on popular items that all the selfish hoarders like to buy out during this pandemic. You know those a**holes are reselling TP and Disinfectant Wipes on FB Marketplace for 2x's the price they paid for it at Costco. Just ridiculous. I was at Costco with my son we bought a couple items and had pizza. As I was leaving the store the girl at the exit asked me for my receipt I handed it to her. She looks at me and then she starts checking every item on the receipt. That's never happened before I felt like she singled out for some odd reason. Costco had a special on danishes so I bought two. The lady who rang me up accidentally charge me for the muffins instead of the danishes. So the girl at the exit door told me I needed to step out of the line and to the side and wait for a manager most embarrassing experience of my life. She made me feel like I stole something and embarrass me in front of all these people because they made a mistake. The lady shows up may be the manager I wasn't sure she took me to the counter and she said that they were going to take care of it and acted like she was doing me a favor. I told her why was I singled out she didn't say nothing and gave me a receipt to give to the girl at the exit. I called Costco after I left the store and speak to the store manager the way I was treated there like if I was some kind of criminal most embarrassing especially to have this happen in front of my son. read more

I love this Costco. I do all my baby shopping here such as formula, diapers and wipes. You just have to watch the prices because sometimes Kirkland is cheaper and sometimes huggies is cheaper. I also love their return policy there is no hassle when returning anything. The employees are always helpful and help you find what ever you need. read more

I used to love Costco, but they have fallen so far behind in technology and customer service that my weekly trips there are now every other month. The first hour used to be for businesses, now it is open to anybody who pays for executive membership, it's impossible to make a quick trip in. The check out lines are long and difficult to maneuver because the aisles of product are too close to the registers. They have no other option to check out but to stand in line - no scan & go, no self checkout, and no store pick up. Their app doesn't give you the aisle and location of a product, you have to find an employee or walk up and down the aisles hoping Costco still carries it. Customer Service/return counter isn't always the friendliest, some are even rude and surly. 10am opening is inconvenient, their competitor opens at 7am and has all of the checkout conveniences that Costco doesn't offer. Unfortunate that Costco has become complacent. Sam's is 3 miles down the road and makes shopping convenient and enjoyable. read more

Shopping at Costco saw a recliner for sale. They were out was told to get the Item number call once a week more will come in. Call a week later they say no more coming in but you can come buy the floor model. Get a truck go back to Costco now there are more coming in they are not selling the floor mobile. I understand this is a warehouse with a limited stock but why make me run back-and-forth and not even care. read more

He provided excessive customer service to me and was a pleasure to encounter. He did an excellent job of running the store and making sure things were in line in this craze.
