I usually do most of my shopping at the Royal Palm Beach location, but since we were in the area and on our way home, we decided to stop here. This was my first visit to this location and, although the parking lot is a bit of a mess, the store itself is impressively clean, well organized, and seems much larger than the Royal Palm location. I especially loved the produce and meat sections. I also noticed they carried several items that I hadn't seen at other Costco locations. Checking out was fast and efficient, which was a huge plus. The biggest downside was the gas station. Getting gas was even more frustrating than parking or leaving the lot. Despite that, I'll probably continue to shop at this location from time to time because I really enjoyed the store itself. However, for the convenience of easier parking, quicker access to gas, and a less stressful exit, I'll likely continue making the drive to the Royal Palm Beach location. read more

I've been a member of Costco for years and primarily shop at this location. Most of the time, I'm able to purchase what's on my list. The staff are great, the warehouse is well organized, and I'm a huge fan of their gas station. It's far more accessible than partner locations. Additionally, the pharmacy has ridiculously friendly prices on some of their OTC items. I've never filled prescriptions so I cannot speak to this. Finally, the tire center is fantastic and they plug tires for a nominal fee should you ever be in a pinch. read more

I use to come here as a kid with my parents and enjoyed getting samples from the food vendors. I finally became a member earlier this month. The selection of products is top tier and the prices are amazing. I've gotten delicious teriyaki pineapple chicken meatballs, Reece's pieces bark that were fantastically addicting, avocado salsa that paired well with just about everything and so many more great things. I've been a member of Costco since the 80s. Waited for years for the new one on Kanner Highway to open. I was so excited that it finally did. However, it's time for them to become a bit more customer-oriented. Put signs up in the aisles so we aren't forced to go up and down each one. I understand their motivation. I don't like it. BJs doesn't do that nor does Walmart and they're doing just fine. An app helping the customer locate items would be useful, as would scan-and-go. A bit of a backwards-looking company. Time to tech up. My subscription lapses in February, and I don't plan to renew. read more

I've had mixed experience with Costco over the last couple years but we are customers for life. Here's why, we are also members at Sam's and the product selection here has more and more things falling off our other list because the items at Costco are more healthy and mindful. Chris in customer service is always lovely and several of the employees here have really gone out of their way to be kind with us. It's amazing how such a big store can feel like shopping in a small market at times. One of my favorite things here is the Ginko biloba for focus, AG1 for adaptogens and greens, the Kirkland balsamic vinegar and olive oil are amazing. I also like the pack of organic young whole chicken and blue eggs. We love the Kirkland bottles of sparkling water. read more

This Costco is always busy, but they run it like a well oiled machine. I never really get frustrated in there, if so it's only because we couldn't find a cart when we arrive or a parking space. Once you get inside, everything's good to go. It's neat and it's organized. They have plenty room to walk as well. Everybody's helpful and it really is an easy breezy shopping experience. They always have great selections, and I'm noticing that they are carrying things for longer periods of time. I can go there and find the same smoked salmon I got two months ago, the same sparkling waters that I like, the same dried apricots, etc. I don't have to worry that it's only gonna be there for a couple of weeks and then disappear. I also appreciate the sales b/c you can go through that health aisle with the vitamins and stuff and find some great deals like an automatic four dollars off or three dollars off just because! I was kinda leery of Costco before I started going two or three years ago and now I'm so glad that we go. :-) Especially when they have food samples out ! I shop at this Costco once every week or two. The service is always top-notch. The staff are consistently courteous, professional, and very helpful! As at every Costco I've visited, I've been a member since I joined in the '90s and it was "Price Club", the selection is terrific, the quality is mostly top-notch and prices are great! Most of the products are well known, but pay attention to the Kirkland Signature products. We really like the organic oat milk and coconut water in particular. The one significant complaint I have is, our freezer is too small to hold the several products we would like to stockpile. We are a family of four adults with four particular perspectives and likes and dislikes. Trying to provide for the four of us and satisfy each of our preferences is just too much for our home freezer! I know I'm not being unique or novel in saying this, but, reinforcing the recommendations of all of the other five star reviews, I can't recommend the store highly enough! If you aren't yet a member, join, when you join, consider the Executive membership (it pays for itself for my family every year). While this review targets the Northlake Boulevard Costco, it really applies to the Southern Boulevard and Lantana stores as well. That says a lot about the corporation as a whole! read more

Costco Review - 20+ Year Member's Perspective I've been a loyal Costco member for over 20 years and this particular location has been my go-to. Like many other Costco locations, parking and crowding can be a challenge, but I've noticed some recent improvements on that front. Customer service is generally friendly and helpful. A special shoutout to Kevin, one of the employees--he's consistently welcoming, personable, and genuinely great to chat with. That said, my biggest frustration lies with the product variety and inventory. Compared to other Costco locations I've visited--out of state--this one falls short in terms of selection, especially when it comes to organic, vegan, and specialty items. Products like falafel, MALK plant-based milk, overnight oats, vegetable stock, pita bread, and epsom salt are staples at other locations but are noticeably missing here. Their frozen and prepared food section also feels limited, and they only offer one vegan meat product at the moment. Another issue is the frequency with which popular items get discontinued--Lavazza coffee, Clase Azul tequila, Primal Kitchen sauces, Siete salsa, vegan chick'n bites, and Lakanto products are just a few that have disappeared from the shelves. Other Costcos even feature specialty sections like sushi, kosher items, international sweets like Dubai chocolate, and a wider variety of ethnic foods and liquor items --none of which are available at this location. In short, while the staff and recent improvements are appreciated, I wish this location's buying team would take cues from more diverse and better-stocked Costco branches. read more

Is it a bad thing if I know majority of the staff at this location by name? Needless to say, we come here often. Not only do they have the coolest staff and best deals but they also have really good gas prices. This location is maintained really well. But as the deals are so good and the gas is so cheap it is usually pretty crowded. Don't worry though, the gas line goes quick as the staff help to direct it through, and the lines inside might seem intimidating but they also move pretty quickly. I don't know who needs to hear this but, Costco now sells mini Coca-Colas! Run to the store while they are here as it's a pretty good deal. I also recommend trying the late July jalapeño lime chips. This is a cut-throat Costco. It's every customer and employee for themself--a full-scale survivalist mentality is needed to shop here. I've seen cashiers dictate checkout lines with the embodiment of Chairman Mao, I've seen soccer moms scratch their Ford Explorers into concrete cart corrals as they desperately try to leave the parking lot. There is no humanity here. There is only the primal urge to buy in bulk as fast as one can. Aside from that, this Costco is well-stocked and has great discounts. Relatively clean. I really enjoy NOTHING about my shopping experience here. The gas station layout is outdated and wait times are long. The parking lot is chaotic with tight rows and tighter parking spots. You cannot stop your cart inside this store without someone being directly on top of you. A plus however is that there is an abundance of food items to sample just around each corner. Check out lines are damn near back to the frozen food department and again ... wait times are long. There is nothing but utter confusion at the food lines with no signage or direction from employee's. There are self-serve kiosks which are convenient if you can actually get to them. There is little to no space (especially with carts in tow) near the unidentifiable pick-up area so most people who order from the kiosk end up standing directly in front of them after ordering. The register to order food and pay by cash is just as crowded and nearly impossible to navigate. Pizza slices here all come out burnt. Napkin and silverware dispensers are not adequately replenished given the food traffic. I'll just stick to the Royal Palm location. read more

The parking lot is the most crowded in Palm Beach County. I have no idea how they fit so many cars into such a small space but I get anxiety every time that I'm forced to go to the store. I hate shopping at Costco because the products are overall gross and only a few are cheaper than Sam's, Publix, Target, Winn Dixie, or even Walmart. Zero help from any of the workers in the store and they will hide from you if you need help. I recently went there to buy giant cases of protein drinks for my elderly mom at a discount. I had not renewed my Costco membership for years and had always borrowed my mom's for when I would help her and spare her the hassle that is a trip to Costco. Today the rude lady checking membership checked the picture, said "you are not the person in the picture. Your mom needs to come herself or you need to pay" and tried to force me to buy a 60 dollar membership. I explained that I was just trying to be a good son, do my elderly mom a solid, and buy 6 cases of the protein drinks, but they could not care less. I abhor Costco and, while a few products are cheaper there, none are worth the hassle and overall awful, greedy corporate structure, and anxiety that I got every time that I went to the store. I am officially done. Never again. I only went there today for my mom but no savings are worth that awful experience in all areas. read more

First experience ordering a major appliance (fridge/freezer) from Costco. Order was placed via their website and follow up calls to confirm, appointment setting etc. was perfect. Delivery arrived exactly as scheduled. Unfortunately, their third-party delivery "team" included one guy that struggled with English and another guy or two that stood around. The chief communicator first advised he had nothing to protect the floor. We found a moving blanket and only then did the one of the "team" discover they actually did have something to protect the floor. Really? Long story short; the spokesman spent the next 15 minutes advising us of all the things they won't do such as attach the existing ice maker waterline, no responsibly for any damage, wasn't sure it would fit, on and on. He did suggest leaving the new fridge in the middle of the kitchen and calling a plumber and additionally someone else to install the fridge. Wasn't long before we had enough and sent them on their way. We called and cancelled with Costco without a problem. Bottom line, purchased the item at the same published price from a local supplier, namely Rosner's Appliances. Their installers were prompt, thorough, friendly and did a complete job along with some verbal guidelines and suggestions. It was clear this wasn't their first rodeo. Stick with Costco for cheap hot dog lunches, rotisserie chickens and a lifetime supply of M&M's. read more

This was my first visit to this location in a while. We went to the one in Kendall (Miami) on a fairly regular basis up until we moved away about 2 years ago. We still go to the one in Rochester MN where we have our summer home. I've never seen anything like this location in PBG. The lines were all the way down the aisles to the opposite end of the store. On a Monday morning! After waiting half an hour in line and getting up towards the front, they opened a couple of more cashier lines. People started coming into those without waiting in any of the existing lines. Some of the people around me started yelling and even though there was a Costco employee right there, he refused to do anything about it. It was so packed, it was hard to navigate around to shop. Worst of all, the main two things I went there for, that I can usually only find at Costco, this location didn't have. There's no sense putting myself through the aggravation of shopping here, if they don't even have what I want (and can easily find at other Costco locations). Starts with the parking lot, all pieces of lanes, just crazy, drivers disregarding stop signs, playing chicken with pedestrians, just nuts. Inside is fine. The self checkout is done well, with helpers there move everyone along; good job. The food counter, disorganized lines and peep waiting everywhere so u don't know where to go to place order. The people there look hardworking and are all over trying to place, make and deliver orders, they look stressed and frustrated. The gas lines, disorganized and some cut off other cars...it's kinda like playing survivor. Don't know where management is...this is the same story every time we come to this one. read more

Shopping at COSTCO may be like a trip to the Orlando theme parks - busy parking lots, long lines inside, & concession stand food, and yet the COSTCO in Palm Beach Gardens always has me coming back for more! The store is clean (including the rest rooms), the prices are good, the flowers and seasonal arrangements are beautiful & well-priced, and the cashiers & cart loaders are always happy & efficient. The floor staff , too, are also efficient, kind, and helpful! Lastly, Shout Out to two AMAZING parking lot attendants - Jahm & Nath (shortened names for privacy) for their cheerful offer AND generous assistance with loading my car; I enjoyed a much larger shopping spree than I had intended & truly appreciate their help!
