When I returned to the clinic to address the issue, Dr. Fartash informed me that I needed to see an endodontist, which was concerning. Extended Pain and Infection: Following the referral, I endured two months of excruciating pain. This was a stark contrast to my initial visit, during which I had no pain. To make matters worse, I had to take antibiotics because the tooth became infected. It was disheartening to see my oral health deteriorate instead of improving after a dental procedure. Second Opinion: Eventually, I decided to seek a second opinion from a different endodontist, not the one Dr. Fartash had referred me to. To my dismay, this second endodontist confirmed that the infection in my tooth was a direct result of the poorly executed filling job performed at Red Hill Dental.
