Cosy Cafe might seem like a silly name. Or just obvious. Or uncreative. But it's PERFECT. Seriously. This is probably the cosiest cafe I have ever been to. I immediately declared it my gang's official fika/coffee spot. The wallpaper is adorable, the cushions are adorable, as are the lights, and all of it. there's updoor balcony seating and widow seating and low tables. It's warm. It's pleasant. The music is nice, the staff is nice, the sandwiches are delish. I don't really want to share it, haha! But, let it be known: Cosy Cafe rocks my socks. Bye, Wayne's, bye, Fabrique. We were hungry and this was a relatively cheap option before heading to our next stop. We shared a bowl of soup with some bread and got a brownie for dessert. The soup was warm and filling, but the service left much to be desired. The two girls working here seemed to be quite bothered that people were coming in and actually needed to be served. In between customers they'd be sitting on the counter, glued to their phones. If you're walking by and hungry, it's a fine place for lunch but don't go out of your way to eat here. read more

I would not even like to give this place 1 star, because they don't deserve it. The staff was incredibly rude and unfriendly. We ordered a large latte, but we still got a small one. When we mentioned that it was the smaller sized cup, they just poured the coffee over to a larger cup and added some more milk. You'd think you'd get an extra shot of espresso in a larger cup. They were also very unfriendly when I spilled water on my papers and tried to dry them, saying that it'd look bad for the other people there. But we were the only ones sitting on the 2nd floor, for the next hour. Very rude. I would not go back here. read more

This seemed like a cute cafe at first. With the hip interior decor and the blankets and candles. But the food was overpriced and old. Do not have baked goods there. They are 2-3 days old, or at least they tasted like that. I had carrot cake and a blue berry smoothie. The smoothie was a small water cup size and it was alright but it was 45 SEK. The carrot cake was small but it was 43 SEK. It was old and the carrot shredding on it was dried and gross! Do not come here for FIKA! You're better off at Espresso House or Coffeehouse George or literally anywhere else. Do NOT come here! I'm very disappointed. When I asked the waitress what kind of smoothies they had she told me to go read it myself! Bad service and bad overpriced old food. read more

Loved this little spot right on a corner in the heart of Gamla Stan. Stopped by later in the evening for a drink and something sweet. Had a delicious raspberry crumb cake - I might have to go back tomorrow for more. Sat in a cosy corner by the windows watching the world walk by. We went here for a cute romantic Swedish "fika", and the place sure is cute outside considering it's lit candles, small tables and chairs. The cafe interior is also cute and hip, but the place is overpriced and do not try the carrot cake - it tasted a couple of days old and the creme cheese topping was hard(!!). The apple pie wasn't that good either, very soggy and not with a nice crust, the vanilla sauce very bland.
