We purchased a 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee that has been a nightmare since day one. Despite having a 3-month/3,000-mile service contract, the vehicle has persistent engine issues that independent shops have identified as 'patchwork repairs' needing a full cylinder head replacement. We contacted the warranty company and the warranty company confirmed that there was no claim by Adam's to replace the heads. They only kept the car for 3 weeks to make it look like it was being repaired given the length of time. Beyond the mechanical failures, the business ethics are highly questionable. We left the car with them for repairs, and it was returned to us with 600+ additional miles on the odometer and an empty gas tank. They also failed to fix a mirror that was promised to be repaired at the time of sale. If you choose to ignore this feedback please do your due diligence and bring a mechanic with you. Something I now regret not doing. We have officially issued a demand letter for a full rescission of the sale ($10,134) due to their inability to provide a safe, reliable vehicle. Not that I had any major bodywork or anything but I bought a brand new car…read moreand the dealer wanted $500 for a spoiler and $620 for side body trim (to avoid door dings). Well I bought my items direct from toyotapart.com for $189 plus shipping (side body trim and spoiler) and I came here because they work on Toyota dealership cars. For those of you who don't know, not all toyota dealerships have body shops and places like these get contracted and you get charged more. Well, I brought my stuff here and they charged me $150 to install everything. Great service and friendly staff to assist you. They did a pro-tastic job on the little work they did on my car but it seems like they will do an outstanding job on your car should you choose to wrap it around a pole.

I decided to give the new owner a chance and I REGRET it. The work was very pricey, but the paint job was sloppy and started looking spotty within a few months. Then to top it off when I picked the car up the Bluetooth wasn't working properly. I then came to find that someone at the shop STOLE the ORIGINAL Bluetooth module out of the car and replaced it with a FAULTY one (the owner has a Dodge charger which is the same car I took in for repair and the module is a KNOWN PERVASIVE issue with this vehicle). I KNOW they STOLE it because I PERSONALLY tucked a cord sloppily in an opening in the footwell. However, after the car was at their shop the cord had been folded, zip tied and put in the dash (see photo). They had NO BUSINESS in the dash of the vehicle, since it was there for a BUMPER REPAIR . I texted the owner and NEVER got a response. Also, at the time they only accepted cash or Zelle (BIG RED FLAG!) KARMA is REAL and they'll get EXACTLY what's coming to them, mark my words. Jay ("I just go by Jay" - or "Stephen Ray Gaudreau", real name) who maintains he is the owner, took…read moremy 2016 Smart fortwo car, which was NEW, and explained the car would be tied-up about 4 weeks, a month. I planned for this. He ended up keeping the car for (3) THREE MONTHS "customizing" the car to include new stereo, dip colours, "wing doors", and a variety of other custom work. The cost was $5k. I put $3,800 down (check to Gaudreau) in advance of completing work. With my car tied-up for three months (honestly, I was desperate to have all the customizing done) I had to rent a car during this time at, of course, additional expense. "Jay" and I agreed to a price reduction of just the $3,800. He was also unable to supply the gull-wing doors, and this cost was removed. As I drove the car, things began to go wrong; the stereo wasn't working, the lighting was intermittent, the base component stopped working. When I spoke with Jay, he apologized. He told me he had different aspects of the customization done by far less experienced people he "farmed the work out to." This didn't fix the situation and I threatened to hav e my attorney contact Jay. Jay pleaded with me to not go this route. He told me his girlfriend was desperately ill, that his mother was desperately ill, same of someone else in the family. It was clear to me as much as initially liked Jay, he was largely INCOMPETENT. I took my car to Autosonics in Highland Park, IL. They first repaired the wiring Jay did which was literally hanging from the car bottom, dragging on the ground. A NEW Stereo was required, complete re-wiring, and a host of other reparations to make my car whole and fall in line with Mercedes expectations to not void my warranty. This was ANOTHER $5k. The car was $17k new. Mario, the owner of Autosonics, pout together several videos of what he found of Unique Dips work, so gto justify and advise me why the cost was so high to make it all right. I have a copy of a phone conversation where Ray/Jay admits his offenses in this matter, a text exchange in which Jay/Ray plead for mercy from me, and a handwritten note from Jay/Ray to pay me $500 in "regular" payments until we were settled. Nothing EVER came. Please reconsider doing business with this company, this person, he is capable of destroying your vehicle as he nearly did mine. What did I just give him $4,000 for it? Ended up bringing it to another mechanic and found out he lied to me he put aftermarket converters the mechanic that I took it to the second time told me to parts or under $300 that he installed so you're telling me I just paid $3,700 for labor and I'm still going to fail the emissions. My Jaguar was brought to European Collision after a break-in in which the driver's window was shattered. State Farm recommended European Collision as a certified facility that works with Jaguars, which is why I trusted them with my vehicle. What should have been a straightforward repair has turned into 2 months of delays, four visits, unresolved problems, and significant inconvenience. First visit: My Jaguar was brought in for the broken driver's window, and European Collision had the vehicle for approximately 14-15 days. When I went to pick it up, the battery dead, so the vehicle had to remain at the shop to be charged. After I eventually picked up the vehicle, within approximately 15 minutes, I discovered that the driver's door lock controls were no longer working. I immediately contacted the shop. The driver's door locks and controls had worked properly before the vehicle was brought in for the window repair. Second visit: I returned the vehicle and again reported the lock problem. I was told it would be addressed. There were also issues with the replacement window trim, including a damaged part that caused another delay. Third visit: I had to return the Jaguar because the paint damage from the original break-in had not been properly completed, and the window/trim work was also not properly completed. The window had to be removed again so the paint work could be completed and the correct trim installed. European Collision had my Jaguar for approximately 7-10 days during this visit. The driver's door lock problem still had not been fixed, and I was told another part needed to be ordered. Fourth visit: After the part arrived, I returned the Jaguar to have it installed. The shop kept my vehicle for two days, but even after installing the part, they still could not fix the driver's door locks or determine what was causing the problem. I was ultimately told I would need to take the Jaguar to a dealership for a diagnostic. Now I am being forced to pay for that diagnostic myself because the lock problem was not reported to State Farm as part of the original repair. I may also have to pay most or all of the cost of fixing the problem. This is especially frustrating because the problem appeared within 15 minutes of the first pickup, did not exist before the repair, and was reported immediately. European Collision had four opportunities to address it, including having my vehicle for 14-15 days during the first visit, 7-10 days during the third, and two days during the fourth. There was also a serious lack of attention to detail. The broken glass from the break-in was never properly cleaned. Even after four visits, I continue to find broken glass inside my Jaguar. At every pickup, I also found shop dirt and footprints on the carpet and door trim. The floor mats and work areas were not properly covered or protected. I also paid approximately $1,000 out of pocket for additional paint work. Because the window had to be removed again to complete the paint work and correct the trim installatio I am now being forced to pay out of pocket for a problem that arose immediately after their repair. I also made repeated attempts to resolve this with management. I requested the District Manager's assistance and was given an email address that was undeliverable. I then contacted the Technicraft Group corporate office, was given the General Manager's information, and again the email address provided was undeliverable. I also contacted the company's online customer service and received no response. After trying the shop, the District Manager, corporate management, and online customer service, I still have no resolution. Based on my experience, I would not recommend European Collision / Technicraft , especially if you own a Jaguar or another luxury vehicle.
