Several months ago I had Lambo doors installed on a 2024' Corvette Convertible. The process was…read moreeasy and quick. Tony recommended at the time that they could also install led lighting on the bottom side of the doors for better lighting and added highlight. The after effect was beautiful as you can see from the photos attached. Over the last couple weeks the doors stopped functioning smoothly so I called Shockwave this morning to see about realigning the hinges. Ten minutes later, I received a message back to bring the car back anytime before 6pm closing. I stopped in during lunch break unannounced today. Their service technician stopped his current project and immediately grabbed the correct tools and readjusted both doors. 15 minutes later I was back on the road - No Charge. However, I was in a hurry to get my vehicle fixed and they could not fit it in their facility; with a reference from CarMax, I thought it would be okay. I will never doubt my first impression of a busness ever again! This is the worst repair shop I have ever encountered and I am considering sueing them! They ran out the gas in my vehicle and I truly believed they did not replace the transmission like they said! The car was dirty when it was returned also. I will be reporting them to the states attorney's office for comsumer protection. Again, "Do Not Do Business with B and G Auto Repair in Harvey, IL! I am a disable veteran and I take service seriously! Also, beware of their finance practices and read everything throughly if you do consider having work done there. Edit 2: The owner has not only refused to provide the video but they've also threatened me by telling me they know where I live and that they'll sue me for my review (see attached image). I've never seen this level of unprofessionalism from a business owner. Also, I haven't purchased anything from this business so the only way they would have my information is if they went out of their way too look me up online which is frankly quite disturbing. Brought my Volvo in on Saturday to see if a remote start can be installed in my car. The guy said he had to check to see if my cars compatible so he pulled it into the back of the shop and brought it back like 5 minutes later said sorry he couldn't do it. No problem I said and left but as I'm driving I hear a weird thumping noise coming from the front of my car. i pull over and check and part of my bumper is loose. I pop the hood and all but 1 of the 6 fasteners are gone so front bumper was basically hanging on by a thread. Thankfully I noticed it before I got on the highway where I'm 99% certain my bumper would have fallen off and caused an accident. Also the rubber molding on the driver side was not properly pushed back in but that's not nearly as much of a concern. I do not recommend bringing your vehicle here at all but if you do remember to take pictures of EVERYTHING before they touch your car.
