My parents are visiting from out of state and we were looking for somewhere to get brunch on Easter when I remembered driving past this place recently. It's super cute from the outside, and the inside was just as nice! Our food was so good and our waitress was so nice that we went back the next day! You can get breakfast or lunch and they sell their homemade jam in jars to take home, so yummy! We went around 9:30am and waited for about 40 minutes to be seated. It was busyyyy. An employee makes sure your group is on their list and you wait your turn to be seated. The staff knows it may be a bit so they provide you with coffee while you wait which I thought was a nice gesture. I didn't mind the wait, I knew based on reviews that the food was going to be worth it but I did feel bad for staff about other customers who were waiting with us and were pushy and impatient. I'd suggest if you don't like to wait, come here before 8:30am. Service once we got seated was super fast. I got a coffee, Eggs Benedict, and a side of sourdough toast with their famous jam. You MUST try their jam - it's famous for a reason!!! The best strawberry jam I've ever had. My Eggs Benedict was really good, though I'm so accustomed to a thick slab of ham that I was a little bummed to find thin deli sandwich ham instead. But overall this was an good meal. This place has the most disrespectful hostess. She said there would be "a minute" for us to be seated. Came back after an hour, still wouldn't give us a time, said, "people are still talking". Meanwhile, we watched people who got there after us eat their whole meal and walk back at out. My son is in a wheelchair. This is one of those places that always comes up in conversations about "Where should we meet for breakfast?" The food always comes out hot, the service is always friendly and as fast as they can manage, and it just has an overall gregarious neighborhood vibe that makes you happy to be there. It can be a wait, especially if you have a larger group, but it is worth it 100% of the time. This has never been convenient to my house and it hasn't stopped me. My personal favorite thing here is the breakfast sausage links. They're just stupid good and sort of ruined links for me elsewhere. I'm also a big fan of their breakfast potatoes and strawberry jam!
