They were totally fine with me ordering my own tires, did a great job on the oil change, and despite not doing inspections directly: sent my car off to be inspected at another shop. The attitudes of the staff were amazing (contrary to my experience with Complete Automotive in Easthampton). They went out of their way, were affordable, and really seemed to care about my experience. We'll be going to them from now on.

When I received the invoice, they charged an additional $105 ($29.95/tire) for mounting and balancing, and $79.00 for the alignment. I called an asked them about this, and they condescendingly told me that I must have misunderstood the yes or no answer to my wholly unambiguous question. If they said that they misspoke, or took any small amount of responsibility at all, I would've been okay with it, but they bent over backwards to put all of the blame on me. This occurred after I decided to give them another chance, even though a few years earlier, they gave me an estimate for my exhaust and asserted that my muffler's flange was bad, but when I went to another shop, they showed me on the lift that this flange was completely intact. They do decent work but you cannot take them at their word when they quote you a price.

Ernie's Towing - Hard to tell but the wheel and tire are bent at an angle.

I was then told this was going to be well over $200. I told the driver my quote and he said that it would not be that low. He agreed to make it just under $200. Little things tell a lot about the company. I feel completely misled and price gouged. The first time using your service. Also the woman picked up the phone was not pleasant and like she was doing a favor speaking with me. I will not be using your service again.

We were driving from New Hampshire to Philadelphia to see our son at Villanova. Our car was…read moredriving poorly, shaking and wobbling, so I pulled off Interstate 91 in Holyoke, MA. As soon as I did, the tire felt like it went flat but it actually snapped. We thought the axle or joints were busted but without being able to see underneath it's hard to tell. We had *just* had it inspected and the alignment corrected in NH the week prior to this because we registered the vehicle there as new residents, so we were surprised something this bad would happen so soon afterward. Our roadside assistance had dispatched another company that no-showed on us after 2 hours of waiting. Eventually a cop came behind us and asked about our issue and then said he would get us a tow in 10 minutes. Ernie's Towing was our knight in shining armor. He showed up in 10-15 minutes and took us to Firestone, where they learned it was just a couple of sheered-off studs. The driver was friendly and we appreciate his help! On to better car days!

Last year, they failed my car because of old windshield wipers. I gave them another chance this year because they are close to my home, but they failed me again because of a loose front plate. I had it screwed back in and returned, but they still said it was not drilled properly. I then went to another inspection shop with the car in the exact same condition, and it passed without any issue. This place wasted my time and money. It feels like they are focused on finding small reasons to fail inspections and push minor repair fees. I will not be going back, and I'll be telling my family and friends to avoid this shop.

I took time off from work both times I had Pro-lube "fix" it. I brought in the bill from the dealership and they said they would not reimburse me for my cost, nor did they offer me a discount on the oil change I brought my car in for today. I felt there was a verbal agreement they would fix my car both times I brought it in. They could have at least told me the second time it was beyond their level of expertise. I know they probably tried to make the repair, but feel conflicted about their decision. I had been a customer of theirs for years, but think it's time to look elsewhere.
