It is a charming and absolutely cool event space and brewery. There are rockers on the front porch and tables outside and many options inside. You have free parking in the neighborhood, and you can get beer to go and go to the park across the street. They serve 5oz so you can create your own flight. On this visit, I tried 4 different beers and enjoyed each one. You can't go wrong. There was a food truck outside if you wanted to grab a bite to eat, and the brewery had kettle chips. Make time to stop here. You won't regret it.

What a unique brewery experience! Unlike any place I have ever been. Staff was great and very informative! Beer was fantastic!

An interesting vibe in this place. The inside is a cozy house that has been repurposed into a brewery. The beer selection is limited, but I think they rotate over time so you could always wait to try out different ones. I'm not a huge drinker, so I don't particularly enjoy the taste of alcohol. But the cider that I ordered was very smooth and hid most of the alcohol taste. Aside from some tables and wall decoration, there isn't much going on here. I suggest that if you are coming here with friends, you should bring your own deck of cards or a board game to pass the time.

It's about time I upgrade this review to 5 stars. Cotton House has always been my favorite place to grab a beer in Cary, and nothing has changed about that. The vibe is absolutely phenomenal, the beers are all top notch, and the staff who work here are always pleasant. Plus, they often times have food trucks! Just check out their website and you can find out what food truck will be there on any given day. All in all, you won't be disappointed with a visit to Cotton House!

Good old front porch sittin'...in a nice little downtown...at a brewery! This is an awesome use of an old house and one of the coolest breweries I've ever visited to just hang out . I tried a flight and all of the beers were good. The sweet tea style one stood out. I have to call this the must visit brewery in the Cary area.

Stopped by for a beer here--real nice vibe--I should have taken more pics of the place, specifically I missed the back patio which was really nice. Friendly staff. I'll be back to try some of food I saw inside--it looked very tasty--especially the duck quesadilla and parmesan fries.

This house is beautiful. We stopped in to try a flight today, they currently have 4 core beers and 2 ciders on tap. There are more to come once they get more established. We really enjoyed the Houndstooth Stout and Hazy Days NEIPA. There is no free wifi currently but there should be within the next few weeks. This is a great addition to downtown Cary, it was already busy so I'm excited to see how it does. For those that are hungry - Verandah does deliver and they will be scheduling food trucks

Popped into the new Cotton House Craft Brewers in Cary on opening night on a whim! Located in in the Pasmore House next to the Mayton Inn, Cotton House is doing beer a bit differently. While the main production facility is down in Fayetteville, they've got the tap room in a residential area of downtown Cary. And the historic house location is pretty cool, offering up a couple of large sitting rooms along with the main bar area. Tried their Hazy Days New England IPA which was very tasty. Cotton House was pretty busy on their opening day and I'm guessing the crowd will be a bit more mature, in the 30 to 55 range. Overall a nice spot offering up some good brews, they are off to a great start!

Great beer, atmosphere, seating inside and out! Family friendly & a food truck too. Excellent Vienna Lager. It's hard to do a great Vienna lager that has no bitter after taste but these folks do it! Will return.

    Music on outside patio!

Bartender was rude, unnecessary attitude. Also was very unimpressed with the beer list. Cary has a number of better options. Skip this one.

Great brewery. Ambience is chill and laid back. They do a good job with food trucks. Beer is why I go. Best in area.

They don't have an overwhelming draft or canned menu which to me is appreciated. I don't mind choices however when you have a craft beer menu that's deep it can be quite daunting. So to the Heckler crew, thank you for keeping it simple. This visit I had the Fried Pickles which if being honest were good but they're not the best I've had. If I could give a recommendation I would move away from the breading that's being used as I feel it takes away from the actual pickle which for me is about 90% of the taste profile. The breading was a bit overpowering. Sometimes simple is better. But that's just my opinion as a fried pickle enthusiast. Now as for the pizza, I have to give a solid high five. I've been here three times and everytime I've gotten a pizza and none have disappointed. This time around I got the meat lovers and it was fresh, and delicious. Overall, Heckler is a great place to go and one thing I do love about this place is that it's always a chill vibe, with great service.

There were about 10 choices and after a couple of free samples I ordered their stout beer. It went well with the bbq chicken pizza. I was told by the brew master that they use their beer when making the fresh dough for the pizzas they make at the restaurant. It was a good touch.

This place was just what I needed before leaving Fayetville. The bartender was so amazingly sweet & attentive. The place is clean, and has a low key, casual vibe. It was around lunch time when I arrived and took an empty seat at the bar. I was promptly greeted and when I asked for recommendations, the bartender was very knowledgeable and I LOVED her recommendation, the pomegranate cider. I sat and enjoyed my drink taking in the vibe and conversation from locals that joined the bar. Finally, I ordered some food: The Patriot Burger. I opted for chicken for the protein and nixed the cheese, because well, my body hates it. Yes! It was as delicious as it looks in the picture. It was accompanied by a good helping of fries that were served hot, hot, hot! If you're feeling down and need a good drink in a great place before you go on with your day, come here! If you're hankering for a good burger, a beer, great service, and great casual conversation with strangers, come here! Thanks Gastons Gang for raising a Texas Gals spirits! Cheers!

They've got a smaller selection of craft beer, but it's still delicious. I did a flight and tried their two lagers, the lavender ale and their porter. Porter was super light not really heavy at all. Has a small coffee finish. The lavender ale actually really surprised me. It was delicious but my favorite was by far that velvet blackberry lager. Just absolutely amazing. Their liberty lager is super light. I would compare it to the equivalent of maybe a Miller light. We did order food. My husband got the chicken wings. They come in an order of six and he got the lemon pepper rub. He really liked it. He said the rub was a little sparse on some of the wings, but overall it was good. I got the pepperoni, hot honey flatbread and really enjoyed it. The pepperoni is the nice cup of pepperoni that curls and the hot honey gives a nice balance with it. Overall, we enjoyed our experience. We sat at the bar and the bar was kind of a disaster. I'm guessing they must've just come off of the dinner rush because we didn't arrive until around 8 o'clock.

I ordered the burnt ends which were delicious, sticky and a little bit spicy with those jalapenos in the sauce. Sweet potato waffle fries were nice and crispy. They were nice enough to bring me honey mustard dressing for dipping. The kitchen seemed a little overwhelmed. It was quite busy when we walked in, but it was worth the wait. As for the beer list, I liked the number of beers that were low (less than 25) on the IBU scale. I don't like hoppy beers. I enjoyed the Cupid is as Cupid does ale.

Unfortunately, this one didn't quite hit the mark. The space itself is nice--plenty of seating inside and out, a private room in the back, clean bathrooms and even a stage where live music was playing during our visit. But the food situation was confusing. They have a full kitchen and menu listed, yet when we arrived, they were only serving food from a BBQ food truck/side business. Not sure if it was a staffing issue, a special event, or just how they do things on certain days, but it definitely wasn't clear for someone just passing through. Beer-wise, they had a decent range of styles, but nothing really stood out flavor-wise. Everything was just... okay. Not bad, but not memorable. Service was similar--there seemed to be only one guy behind the bar running things while the rest were tied to the BBQ setup. He wasn't rude, just not super engaged. All in all, this place was fine, but nothing WOWed me. With a little more clarity on the food, a stronger beer lineup and more upbeat staff, it could be a much better stop for travelers passing through, or even the regulars.
