I had been recommended to try the burger at Standard for years. I finally did, and it exceeded my high expectations. It was a perfect smashburger, and I really enjoyed the laid-back atmosphere and good service. I was so excited that I took a bite before I could get a photo.

I'm not a big smash burger fan but a friend told me to try the Smash burger at Standard. This was one of the best Smash burgers i have had. The consistency of the patties was perfect with the right amount of cheese. I liked it so much that I came back in two days to have it again. Also worth mentioning are their fries that are thinly cut and crispy. I'm a fan!

I had seen this spot thru social media and decided to grab lunch with a friend here on a saturday afternoon. we were able to seat ourselves and easily found a table. We ordered by scanning the QR code and someone brought us cups of water. I ordered the tonkatsu sandwich with a side of truffle fries and my friend ordered the buffalo chicken sandwich with truffle tots. The food was brought out to us within 15-20 mins. I really enjoyed my sandwich I got and it was huge! The truffle fries were my favorite and were so tasty and the fries were thin and crispy. I definitely left with leftovers. The inside had lots of different seating and was pretty big inside. this was a great place to come meet a friend! I would recommend this spot for a casual hangout spot

Such a great lunch experience, the frozen margarita was delicious and perfect for summer. This is a great casual dining spot with good indoor and outdoor seating. Parking can be a bit of a challenge but there's a pay lot across the street. They might have one of the best smash burgers in town, perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The wings were just okay and the truffle fries were good but needed some salt. Get the burger!

I came here for a bite to eat while in town for work and I was pleasantly surprised. First off, I love breweries and the casualness about locations such as the Standard. I sat at the bar and ordered an Aperol Spritz as well as their taco platter. I went for 2 skirt steak tacos and 1 pollo verde. The skirt steak tacos were BY FAR my favorite. The steak was juicy and flavorful. It's a very casual place where you can order using a QR code, if you're not siting at the bar, where the staff will bring your food out to you. Additionally, regardless of where you sit, you will be able to see the brew room and brewing equipment. It's pretty cool stuff!

Spacious and pretty on the inside with some outdoor tables. Ordering uses a QR code but someone still comes around to check on you and answer any questions. Our food came out really quickly and was nice and hot. My boyfriend said if he came back he wouldn't bother with a taco he would just get the tots and smash burger. I enjoy the slow cooked pork taco. It had a nice acidity to it with the green sauce they provided. I would not order the shrimp taco again, very pedestrian. My beer was tasty and you can order half pours which I love!!! The Mocktail was the Jukie and we loved the ginger flavor. I would love to dine and drink here again!

Wings with dry rub, blue cheese and hot dipping sauce

My daughter suggested we try this place for dinner. Menu has lots of beer and drinks and the food selection is limited but typical bar type food. If you like a quiet place to eat this is not the place to go. It was very very nousy but my granddaughter slept through it all. I decided on the wings with a dry rub and blue cheese dipping sauce on the side. The wings tasted great and were a bit spicy. Yo order you scan a QR code at your table and it brings up a place to order and once you pay on your phone the food is delivered to your table. The food came out fairly quickly too.

So good! Great menu with a lot of variety. It is very loud. They have outdoor seating but it was too hot. I love how it is decorated. You use a QR code to order your food and drink which is then brought to the table. I didn't like that you couldn't sub out salad dressing so I got the shrimp tacos which were good. My son got the chicken tacos which were ok. The soft taco shell fell apart easily. My husband got the veggie burger which I thought was greasy. The fries were good. I wanted their truffle fries but not for $14!! My only negative is that it is really hard to flag down someone to help you. I had to get up and get my own napkins.

The food is always 10/10! I always recommend their smashburger, chopped wedge and a frozen cocktail! The use of QR codes to order food for your table is easy and convenient, the service is always fast and check on you often. They have a little backyard patio that has picnic tables and umbrellas

It was a super busy place and the atmosphere was great, tons of people. We found it hard to get a seat around 7:30, but ordering was easy and the food was decent quality. The cocktails were unique but seemed to be very light on the alcohol.

Pretty good restaurant! They have a small free shared parking lot, and if that is full there is street parking or a paid lot across the street. They have tons of beer on draft, as well as wine and cocktails. You seat yourself and order from a QR code and they bring you your drinks/food. I ordered the fried fish sandwich which was super tasty, but I did not care for the chips. I would give this place another try!

This…read morespot has the perfect laid-back vibe for a weekend meal, plus an unbeatable view of downtown Raleigh, seriously, if the weather's nice, try to sit on the patio! We had a 70 degree surprise January day while we were there, so we did just that. We started our brunch with a couple of drinks: a bloody mary and an iced coffee. The bloody mary had a nice kick. Just the right amount of spice without going overboard. The iced coffee was smooth, not bitter at all, and honestly a great pairing if you're not in the mood for booze. To start, we shared the Dill Pickle Pimento Cheese with ripple-cut fries. I'm a sucker for pimento cheese and this one was outstanding. The dill relish gave it a tangy, fresh twist that worked so well with the creamy cheese. Scoop it up with those crispy ripple fries and you're golden. It's a shareable appetizer, but honestly, I'd come back just for that. For my lunch, I had the Chicken Caesar Pita. This isn't your average Caesar wrap. It was tasty, I wasn't expecting the chicken to be pulled, but it was pull juicy, marinated chicken, tons of Tuscan kale for a hearty bite, and generous shavings of parmesan. The charred Caesar dressing brought it all together with that smoky, savory flavor. The pita bread held everything nicely without getting soggy, and the portion was just right: filling, but not overwhelming. Service was super friendly and paced perfectly, not rushed, but never left waiting. Menu options looked creative and inclusive, with plenty for vegetarians and craft beer lovers, too. We had a great experience and I'll definitely be recommending it to friends who are going to Raleigh!

I was actually a little nervous going in because certain Chinese dishes tend to upset my stomach, so I tried to avoid some of the heavier noodle and chicken dishes that normally do that to me. Honestly, I think that was the best decision because I thoroughly enjoyed my meal and felt completely fine afterwards. I started with the crab rangoons, which were perfectly creamy on the inside and crispy on the outside -- absolutely delicious. Then I tried the pork-filled bao buns, which was my first time ever having them, and I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed them too. Everyone else at our table seemed to really enjoy their food as well. I genuinely didn't hear a single complaint. We also ordered some drinks that were delicious, and both our server and the rest of the staff were absolutely fantastic and very welcoming throughout the night. The atmosphere and vibes inside are honestly one of the coolest parts of the experience. It somehow feels like a mix between a brewery, a florist, a bookstore, and a Chinese restaurant all at once. It's such an interesting and unique space that doesn't really feel like anywhere else. Overall, this was a great experience, and I would absolutely come back to try more items on the menu.

I stopped in just a they were opening on a Friday and thank goodness I showed up when I did, this place gets packed quick and you should book a reservation to be on the safe side. I was most excited about the duck egg rolls but ended up being my least favorite not because they were slightly on the dry side. Flavor was good, and the hoisin honey sauce really helped! The seafood dumplings were second best, stuffed full. The soup based was amazing and it also came with some bread for dipping in the leftover sauce. The pork and chive shumai were my favorite! A little bit bigger than bit sized but worth the mouth full! Absolutely would recommend. I'll 100% be back for more food. The bar side looked to be more casual, the dinning room was full of high tea attire so I did feel a little under dressed, thought it would be slightly more casual. They have the cutest library with free books to read but only while you dine in. The flower and book shop are in the middle of the space. Super cute, limited options but great for a last minute bouquet!

As we were walking up my grandson said " this is a fancy place ". The decor is nicer than most bbq places for sure. I was surprised to see so many options that were not bbq and a large selection of sides. He got meatloaf with Mac and cheese and baked beans. He said it was the best meatloaf he ever had and this comes from a picky eater! He loved the Mac and cheese as well. It was a huge serving so I got to try the meatloaf and he was right. He didn't share the Mac and cheese. Neither of us cared for the baked beans. I had the brisket, Brussel sprouts and potato salad. The brisket was tender and flavorful. Awesome. The potato salad was ok but I didn't care for the Brussel sprouts . I would try two different sides next time. A basket of hush puppies and biscuits came as well. We were both so thirsty and I can report they had excellent sweet tea. Our server was knowledgeable and pleasant. The food came out faster than I expected. We will be back!
