When you park and set everything up, the next person's septic hookup is literally right by your picnic table and grill, like a couple feet away. You can smell it, especially when it gets hot, and it's pretty nasty. The pool is overloaded with chlorine and most of the lights don't even work. I'd say around 70% of the lights are out, including the ones inside the pool, so it just feels poorly maintained. The bathrooms look like they haven't been updated in decades. Everything is worn down and cheap. Even something basic like a toilet paper holder isn't there, the roll just sits on a rail leaning against the wall. The dump area smells terrible, like rotting waste, and overall a lot of the park smells like cigarettes and septic. For $112 a night, it's honestly not worth it at all. This place feels like a 1 star at best and I definitely won't be coming back. Only positive thing I can say is the security guy was really nice.

The staff was so helpful from my original call to make a reservation, to check in, package delivery, community center and even a late check out. It has everything one could want at an RV resort. What we really enjoy is that while you are close to Fountain Hills when you are Eagle View RV Resort you feel mikes away from the city and the park has a peaceful and tranquil feel. In addition one more important thing to mention is the staff has been incredibly friendly, helpful and polite. And yes the park is dog friendly but people still need to use common sense and keep your dog on a lease and pick up after them. Covered Wagon RV Park is very well kept establishment. The owner (Angie) is and was awesome person to interact with. She always went above and beyond. Inclusive, someone hit my truck and we were able to pinpoint who did it because there are cameras everywhere. The place is well kept and I recommend this place to anyone. At night it is quiet and we slept well in our camper. I will for sure be coming back to stay here and there are shaded spots which was a huge plus. Being that the (south)western part of…read morethe Valley is relatively unknown to me, I decided to check out Estrella Mountain RP by myself during hiking season. Depending on the time of year with regard to NASCAR races, you may only have access to one entrance or multiple in/out of the park. The main entrance is off Vineyard and Bullard. This park has a nature center (just past the entrance) where you can buy an annual Parks Pass, check out some nature things inside or talk with an employee. As of 2024, passes are $7 unless you have a Parks Pass. Most of the trails I found in this park are loops of varying degree and all somewhat connected to another. You'll see hikers and bikers alike. They also have a couple of playgrounds, pagodas and ball fields which can be rented. The trailhead I parked at had a bathroom building which was appreciated!

I could now rest easy that not only was I getting the all essential AC blasting but my overheated cat was enjoying the cold air too. We were in Buckeye and needed to dump the holding tanks of our RV We went to the Love's where…read moreGoogle said they had a dump station but they replaced the station about a year ago and the City stopped them from putting it back in. We called Leaf Verde RV and they said we could dump at one of their vacant RV spots. When we got there the dump fee was $40. I was tempted to go to City Hall and empty there but paid the fee. We were headed west and noted there was a dump station at the Love's east of Phoenix but that was a long way thru traffic so we bit the bullet and paid their exorbitant fee.
