That was the one at NorthPark Center in the DFW area. And lo and behold, the one there had a pretty dope winter themed Aritzia arcade machine in the store. If I recall correctly, it had a two player mode that was sort of co-op, sorta competitive. Of course, the controls weren't in that great of a shape. So naturally when I was strolling around the shops at La Cantera, I was excited when I spotted an Aritzia. Because, where else can you find an arcade machine in a clothing store? I was super stoked. Walking in, I scoured the entire store for the metallic arcade machine. I saw the snow globe lit Aritzia puffy sphere, but unfortunately this Aritzia does not have the arcade machine. Queue sadness. What they do have, however, appears to be a selection stylish clothing that is not excessively priced. The staff working here are quite helpful and friendly. They also appear to wear articles of clothing available in the store. They can accurately assess your size for each article of clothing, and won't hesitate to gather and carry your selected articles to the dressing room area. The dressing area contains curtains for each dressing stall. Additionally, there are mirrors which assist you in assessing your own appearance. There are also a few chairs and a couch in that area. Would I come back again? Probably only if they have the arcade machine available. Otherwise, it's not really a place I'd normally shop at since it doesn't contain garments that I wear. It's definitely a comfortable store, and I applaud their interior design.

I met her when she was working at Charleston on King St and stopped in to this new location when I was in town. She helped me pick out some amazing shirts and a dress and even helped me order another one to my home when they didn't have my size in stock. I have a lot of Madewell apparel and find it to be high quality and comfortable. It's perfect for work or almost any other casual occasion. The girls who work here were so helpful and let me know what they thought of a few items I had on, giving me honest opinions. It was great because I didn't have a girlfriend to help me out and they definitely made me feel comfortable about my purchases. I highly recommend this store!

We stopped at Madewell while visiting a shopping plaza, and I have to say that the customer service when we first walked in was excellent. Sabrina greeted us and was extremely friendly, attentive, and helpful. The staff were all very welcoming and offered to assist us throughout our shopping experience. Sabrina even helped my other daughter find some things. The customer service was honestly top-notch. My daughter works part-time at one of Madewell's sister stores and is eligible for an employee discount. We understood that associates are expected to help themselves and clean up after themselves when making a purchase, so my daughter and I were putting things back as we tried them on. When we got to the register, my daughter mentioned that she would be using her employee discount. Sabrina immediately looked surprised and asked, **"You're an associate?"** My daughter explained where she worked, and Sabrina said she needed to get the manager. This is where the experience completely changed. **Sabrina's attitude toward us noticeably changed after she learned that my daughter was an associate.** The friendliness and helpfulness we had experienced earlier disappeared, and she appeared visibly upset. The manager came over and explained that next time my daughter needed to let them know she was an associate because associates are expected to help themselves. I completely understand having a policy regarding employee purchases. **That was not the issue. The way the situation was handled was.** What I found frustrating was that the staff had been the ones repeatedly offering to help us throughout our shopping experience. We didn't demand or expect special treatment--we accepted the assistance that was being offered to us as customers. My daughter was shopping as a customer that day, even though she happens to work for one of the sister stores. If associates are expected to identify themselves before receiving assistance, that should be communicated clearly and professionally. What didn't sit well with me was the obvious change in attitude once Sabrina learned my daughter was an associate. And this wasn't a small purchase. Even with the discount, we spent **over $700**. I even asked my daughter afterward if the employees worked on commission because I was trying to understand why there seemed to be such an issue with the staff assisting us. She told me they don't, which made the reaction even harder for me to understand. I want to be fair: **the customer service before the discount was mentioned was excellent.** Unfortunately, the interaction at the register overshadowed that experience. Policies are policies, and if my daughter should have identified herself as an associate before shopping, that's something she can certainly remember for next time. But there is a difference between explaining a policy and making a customer feel as though they have done something wrong. We came in to shop, were welcomed warmly, accepted the assistance that was offered, and spent over $700. We should have been able to leave feeling good about the experience. Instead, we left feeling uncomfortable and disappointed. **Madewell has employees who know how to provide excellent customer service. Also when asked about the delay he said there was a problem with the courier so it couldn't be delivered. And they never even emailed with an update saying it wasn't going to be delivered. They refunded me for the item they said was unavailable however I went online an was able to purchase it myself. So I called back and asked why they weren't able to replace it if I can order it myself and they said they don't have the same inventory as online. Like how does that make sense. I've been shopping at this store for about 6 years. I shop for my personal wardrobe, business clothes, and dishes and textiles for my food photography business. I know most of the regular employees by name, at the very least by face, and they know me as well. On Saturday (May 2nd), I left close to $600 in merchandise at the register because of the employee's dismissive attitude while ringing it up. She not only ignored us (and everyone else) as we passed her on her way in, but also skulked around the store with a scowl that said she didn't want to be there. When we got to the register, she never greeted us, barely looked up at us, and never asked me for my Anthro Perks number. When I asked her if she would like it, she said, "I haven't asked for it yet." I shop there so much that I know the script is to greet the customer and ask, "Are you an Anthro rewards/perks member?" at the beginning of each encounter at the register. I told her she could cancel the sale, and we left. In this economy, those of us who have saved our money or choose to spend it with retailers shouldn't be left feeling like they're a nuisance. Anthropologie is not an inexpensive store. It makes no sense for us to spend money where we're treated like we don't belong. So, whoever was responsible for hiring the scowling blonde who was working at 7:30 PM on Saturday, May 2nd, should probably have her retrained or reevaluated on whether she actually wants to work there before allowing her to keep messing up your sales.
