Worst place I've ever been. The service is slow and the place is always dirty. They have lots of people in the building but all they do is talk in their little spot and hardly check up on you. When I finally got sat down by the host I got no silverware and it looks like they don't even wrap them in napkins for you like most dine in restaurants do. They also give such expensive prices for such bland food. My waiter I think her name was Brynn did not seem like she wanted to be here. Great little place.  Food was fresh.   Ordered the Cobb Salad.  It was freshly prepared served with fluffy yeast rolls.  Our server, was professional, competent yet friendly.  The cat fish was crispy served over french fries.Great place for down-home cooking.  I go here for lunch on occasion, especially when I need the oil changed in my vehicle. The menu has lots of options, and the portions are pretty large . Lunch hour can get crazy - be prepared to wait for a seat - I'd recommend getting there by 11:30-45 to beat the crowd. read more

My food taste good but when we got home realized my boyfriend didn't get his two sides just got chicken fried steak by itself.

I will start by lavishing praise on my server. The gentleman was so very attentive, responsive and pleasant, I am sure his positive vibe is partially if not majority responsible for the three stars I am giving this place. My family and I wandered in here during a break in our holiday road trip. Admittedly, I was expecting an all day breakfast type of establishment based on the name. Nevertheless, the noon day menu offerings enticed me enough to stay. I was famished so, we tried quite a bit of items. The complimentary bread basket was awesome. The Texas sized onion rings were pretty good. The fried green tomatoes weren't terrible albeit sliced too thick for my taste and a bit on the greasy side. As for sides, the mac and cheese was mediocre but the green string beans were tasty. I liked how they had the sliced onions in them. The fried fish and shrimp could have been better seasoned but the fries and hush puppies were satisfying. We order a couple of desserts a la mode that were nothing to write home about but the accompanying ice cream was delicious. read more

My wife and I ate here for lunch today. Our server was attentive and took our order quickly. Our drinks were served to us fast. We both decided to have the fish and chips. I received a salad with my meal that came out while we were waiting for the rest of the meal. The salad was crisp and tasty with bleu cheese dressing that was really great. Then, we received our meal and things changed rapidly. The fish that came with the meal looked like large corn dogs, huge amounts of breading covering a small amount of dish. It had been deep fried, of course, but it was greasy. There was so much breading on the fish that I peeled off most of it and it filled up the bowl that my salad came in, heaped up. I can not even imagine trying to eat that much greasy breading. The fish itself was fairly tasteless so I guess the main attraction was supposed to be consuming piles of greasy breading. If this is how the cooks are taught to prepare fish for fish and chips, then someone needs to teach them a better method. My meal costs 12 dollars and I figure I ate half of that amount including my salad and broccoli that came with it. The chips (french fries) that came with the meal were soggy and few in number. My wife also peeled off the breading from her corn dog fish sticks but she could only eat 1 of her 3 that came with her order. She actually brought the other two home but I doubt if they will be eaten. We had not been to a Cotton Patch Cafe in years. I guess I know the reason now. read more

Warning when paying for your meal on the machine they hand you look at the total!!! Our waitress auto checked 20% tip and if we weren't paying attention we would have never known! Very dishonest! Don't get me wrong I tip very well more than the suggested amounts but to have it auto checked for me that's wrong! The service was the worst, waitress was terrible basically throwing our appetizer on the table with not one word. Manager was there just walking around not stopping at any table. Went here for New Year's Day meal. Had just come back from vacation. Had cabbage & black eyed peas with other things. Our waitress was Sherry, she was great. Dumpster Fire 7pm Friday night and the staff looks like they are closing. No silverware. Our waitress, who was new, had to roll her own. Quest steak was the toughest steak I've ever had. Told the waitress and they offered to recook the steak and said they would take it off. They brought a different steak which was quite good, but they didn't take it off the ticket. One guest ordered a peach cobbler and they brought black berry. One ordered a Dr. Pepper cake and it was literally burnt to a crisp on the bottom. Aside from our server Rhianna--who was great considering the kitchen foibles--this was one of the worst dining experiences I've ever had to suffer through. STAY AWAY! The restaurant had more employees inside than customers on a Saturday. The wait staff sat in the kitchen and talked while empty cups and missing items went unnoticed. We had to get the hostess to find our waiter. Food seems subpar and staff is definitely lacking. We were seated and waited over 10 minutes to get a drink order taken. The waiter didn't introduce themselves and wrote our order down on receipt paper from the machine. After waiting for 15 minutes, the salad before the meal arrived finally (after we checked with our waiter and had to request it.) silverware was dirty and new set was requested. Food arrived and was eaten only because we were hungry. It was lacking seasoning overall. The best part was the steamed broccoli. Employees were obviously gossiping about the customers who were sat in their sections and showed displeasure at having to wait on certain people. This was seen at the host stand and at the order computer. The environment does NOT seem friendly or welcoming for staff or patrons. The restaurant was quiet and only the echo of plates radiated from the kitchen. Manager is named Alicia in case you don't heed my warning and venture into this establishment. read more

The food is consistently delicious but the service is definitely hit or miss! Servers seem to be overwhelmed and unorganized. Maybe the conversation among servers is more important than service that results in payoff for them. Not sure but it starts from the top so I'm going to blame this issue on management. This place has really gone downhill. If I could leave a 0 I would. We went in on Saturday April 29 at 5 pm and most all the tables were stacked up with dirty dishes. 1st time here. Hostess very nice but our waiter not nice. Didn't introduce himself. He said what you drinking? My husband and I looked at each other. We will have sweet tea and half and half tea. He then leaves comes back with foam cups. He said they were out of cups. Ok no problem. First, let me say that Ebony our waitress was awesome and honestly the best thing about the experience. I thought the portions of the apps we ordered were quite small given the price. I'm not sure how my guests dinner was but, I got the burger and fries. The burger was over cooked and tasteless, and the fries were cold and tasted like they'd been sitting there for a while. I should have sent it back but, this was a semi work dinner and didn't want the focus to be on the bad food. Would I go again, I kind of doubt it. I've been avoiding this restaurant for my own personal reasons. However my girlfriend finally wore me down enough to give it a try. Oblivious to the time we casually strolled into CPC greeted by the hostess (Claire) with a smile big as the GRAND CANYON:-) She was very upbeat and happy. After being seated, menu's in hand we placed our orders for Chicken fried chicken, garlic mashed potatoes with orka and a Chicken Fried salad (sub fried chicken for grilled). We slowly realized that everyone was cleaning preparing to leave. So, we asked what time they closed? Claire, replied we closed thirty minutes ago. Shocked to say the least we apologized repeated for coming in after closing. Then suggested we'd cancel our order, Claire insisted we stay dine and enjoy our food. TALK ABOUT OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE... WOW!!! Once our food arrived we ate quickly, so everyone could go home. The Grilled chicken salad was delicious. The avocado was somewhat brown in certain areas, but still edible. My ranch dressing was creamy with a rich buttermilk flavor. The chicken fried wasn't as big as it had been rumored to be. It was very bland of any seasoning, you couldn't taste the garlic in the mashed potatoes. However overall we'd definitely dine at CPC again. The experience was very warming and delightful. read more

RUN! Don't walk! Tonight is the fourth attempt To Get food here since March. I have paid for it ONE time; food has been comped the last three because they simply cannot get it correct, and the employees could not care less. If you order to-go, you can select "curbside". By curbside, they mean you can go inside and get your food, which will be ready either earlier or later than they advise, but never on-time. Listen, 3 times in a row, I'm telling you, YOU WILL NOT BE BROUGHT YOUR FOOD! This is not unique to me; each time there is a group of cars parked for curbside pickup, and they eventually go in and get their food. THAT IS THE ONLY WAY YOU ARE GETTING IT. And you had better check it, because it is going to be wrong. I just got home from the hospital, and we decided to just get delivery, since that's a new feature they offer. As with going to get it yourself, the food is going to be wrong. No sides. Just a plop of entree. No veggies, no rolls, no concern with doing the job right. I have a couple of Free Meal tickets on my refrigerator, from before the pandemic; in this case, they didn't care much before, and they care even less now. It must be a corporate-owned store. I cannot imagine that a franchisee would allow this level of incompetence and lack of care without firing EVERYONE to start again. Oh and the "phone number" will dump you to a call center somewhere else-unless you can get the secret number for the store, you can't even call them. I'm telling you: skip it. Drive across the highway, eat somewhere else. You will be incredibly frustrated if you do not. read more

Came to Cottonpatch with my two teenage daughters for a casual dinner. Parking lot was crowded but we got in with no wait. Sat down quickly and our waitress came up with her trainee and took our drink order. We decided to order cheese sticks as an appetizer. It's a large order eight cheese sticks with both marinara and homemade ranch, very tasty. Entrées were the meatloaf with mushrooms and macaroni and cheese as a side and a triple cheese bacon cheeseburger with sweet potato fries and the fish and chips basket with a side of chicken tortilla soup. My daughter said that the tortilla soup was a little too spicy for her to enjoy but she enjoyed her entrée. My other daughter had no complaints about her hamburger with fries. My meatloaf was good I little too saucy for my taste and the sides were both really good. read more

Food is great. But 3 out of 4 times visiting, we have had major problems with our orders being wrong or not even put in to the kitchen. This evening, we visited with a complimentary card for 2 free entrees and drinks because of the last time they screwed up...only for our order not be put in to the kitchen correctly and we waited for a very long time to receive our food. Because of this, we were also given free desserts (we didn't complain, the waitress came to us and owned up to us that she didn't submit the order correctly, kudos to her for stepping up) Free is great, but how can your business be successful when you are giving away free food constantly to cover your mistakes???
