Poor management. Out of everything we wanted. I've been to two other RibCribs and they were well run. Not here. Don't go.

A Thanksgiving Review: After another restaurant completely let us down with a turkey that was far too small, we turned to Rib Crib in a moment of panic. We ordered four pounds of turkey through Grubhub, but when we arrived, we learned they were out. Since we ordered through Grubhub, they were not able to call us to let us know. But the manager, Austin, immediately stepped in with compassion and urgency. Austin told us to give him a little time and that he would personally call us when a new batch was ready. Less than an hour later, he kept his word and called to say it was done. When we picked it up, the turkey was absolutely perfect. It was tender, flavorful, beautifully prepared, and truly enough to feed 10 to 12 people. After the stressful situation we had just dealt with, it felt like a lifesaver. Austin and his staff were warm, attentive and went above and beyond in every way. Their exceptional customer service, combined with the amazing quality of the food, turned our stressful holiday week into a wonderful one. Because of their kindness, effort, and the delicious meal they provided, we will be lifelong Rib Crib customers. They genuinely earned our gratitude and our loyalty. read more

We love our local Rib Crib. Today mom had the 3 rib with 2 side lunch and I had the chicken sandwich. Everything was delish! We were seated quickly, and our waitress was prompt. The restaurant is nice and clean. The worker seems very efficient. read more

When we first arrived at RibCrib, we had to wait awhile for our drinks and menus. The young lady that was working that day was ALONE and with no help. What is up with that? She held a smile and was working diligently to keep the customers happy. Our food was delicious! read more

We are there last night and although the restaurant was nice and clean the service and food temp left a bit to be desired. Our waitress was not the best and took a long time to bring drinks for the table. Then when our food came some of it wasn't hot leading me to think it's wait her pre-prepped or sat waiting for her for a while. The queso was pretty good but a lot our chips were smashed. Ribs and pork were good just like I said some of my food was cold including my fried okra... oh I did however LOVE the coleslaw, probably one of the tops I've had! read more

First time at RibCrib and made a to go order, $65 worth. The service was excellent and very helpful as I had questions about the menu /family meals etc. The location was clean and nice. The food however wasn't that great at all , the brisket and pulled pork were Very Dry and unimpressive, onion rings tasteless and the Mac and cheese almost appeared to be kraft shells and cheese. Bad experience at a chain that used to be so good! The green beans were cold, the homemade potato chips were bland and chewy, and the brisket tasted old. Even the tea was not fresh. I told my husband I will not go back and he agreed. We were both very disappointed. read more

As you know I love BBQ, and I know my BBQ as a 100% bred, born, and raised Texan. The ribs were delicious and fell off the bone. The sauce was very good, as were the smokey beans. The potato salad was good but would've been great if it was mustard based so minus one star. I added sauce to it to make it better. Came with a group of friends. Service was quick and helpful, but food across the board was nothing special. Dry, bland meat. Bread was either limp, smushed, or both. Mac and Cheese was watery. Nachos were over-spiced. Only plus was the side salads were huge, with fresh veggies. Wouldn't come back or recommend. read more

The service was good, but I would not say this place serves BBQ. It tasted as if it were oven baked.

The ribs are awesome, right up there with country tavern ribs in Kilgore (who by far have the best ribs in all of Texas). Rib cribs ribs are great. The meat just falls off the bone and are just wonderful. We ordered carry out twice now and can't say enough about these ribs. We also like the pulled pork and baked beans. The brisket was super super dry and a waste of money. The turkey was extremely salty and ended up in the trash. This place is called rib crib for a reason, they make great ribs. Stick to ribs and you won't be disappointed. read more

Wasn't busy when entering the restaurant. Got the super spud with chopped brisket.. The brisket is dry and hard bits, unimpressed/unediable brisket for the price of $13.00 for a super spud... about 1 scoop of pre made brisket. The brisket was warm/Cold ish on top of the baked potato which was hot. Never got a single drink refill, had to ask for a drink Togo to get anything. The original and firehouse bbq sauce is pretty good, the only reason this review is 3 stars. Brisket is a 2 of 10. Note, the strawberry lemonade is good. read more

Went to the Rib Crib for ribs. We arrived around lunchtime noon on Saturday. Service was prompt and friendly, maybe because not too busy. We ordered ribs, and the server says " let me check if we have some ". We think "what " it is the rib shack, right? Today we went to rib crib for lunch. We don't go here to often due to price. Typically we are pretty happy with their food. However today we were not.. I ordered the potato skins, not bad but.. The skin was so hard it was very difficult to cut with a knife and it is hard to pick up because everything would have fallen off. My husband ordered the four meat, double ribs and sliced brisket. His food came out and we noticed how thick the brisket was cut, like 3/4" which normally it's what 1/4" thick. Well he found out why pretty quickly. It was very very dry. He told the waiter which said we'll get ya some chopped brisket cause that's usually more moist. They brought that out and it looked as though the chopped brisket was put on flat top with a bunch of oil and heated it. We did tell the waiter we were not happy with the food and all he said was I'm sorry and quickly walked away. Now.. normally I would not complain so much but... this lunch was over $60. Sliced beef was like shoe leather, (cold, dry, and tough). The smoked sausage was not grilled or even baked, but had obviously been barely warmed up in a microwave. And the portions were tiny, I guess because it was on Veteran's Day and that was the free meal they give to "honor" veterans. We felt insulted, not honored. I always have low expectations of restaurants in small towns but I was pleasantly surprised here! Greenville's food options can be hit or miss and since it's a small town, you feel like you don't have options besides the chain restaurants. I have came here 2x for weekday lunch and weekend dinner. Lunch is busy but there is no wait which is good. As for weekend, expect a bit of wait. I have tried their loaded baked potato which is ok but their salads are better. There's a chicken salad which comes with quesadilla pieces and it's pretty good. The bbq chicken salad is tasty as well but their PIGMAN is AMAZING. I say AMAZING because it was a juicy, fatty sandwich of brisket, sausage, and pickles. I was so satisfied with every bite i took and the oily juices running down my fingers. Definitely not a lady food but if you're going to eat a meaty sandwich, I'm not sure if there's a lady like way. It was so good that I think about the sandwich and can't wait to get another one! Excellent stop in our road trip A little " chainy" for us , but we wanted a good drink and what we saw in line looked promising Ribs were awesome- We over ordered and got a full rack so we could take them back with us We also got the two meat plate with brisket and sausage - The sausage was smoky and rich but the brisket ( normally my fav) was dry looks like it was over trimmed maybe and not enough of the fat was left on to drip down and keep it moist Sam was our server and bartender- She was excellent and makes a mean margarita Cheers ! read more

I live in Greenville, but never have bothered to stop by rib crib, until yesterday which was my first time, and let me just say it's definitely not going to be my last time. The food was amazing, I definitely recommend the cheese fries, as well as "the club" sandwich. So much flavor. I honestly feel you're getting more food for the price you're paying. Easy location: Right off Hwy I-30. Parking: Spacious My gf and I stopped here for lunch today. I've been trying to try this spot since it opened. TODAY WAS THAT DAY....YAY!!! We ordered the two meal(build a meal platter) Chicken breast (sliced)and Chopped Brisket w/baked beans and fries. Ribs and Sliced Brisket w/Mac n cheese and fried orka. The sliced chicken breast was tasty and juicy. With a nice smokey rub on it. Brisket..Ummm a little on the dry side which was a bummer. However the BBQ sauce helped to tame that dryness. The fries have a little seasoning in them w/a nice crisp. Baked bean were AMAZING!!! Plenty of shredded brisket in them for a hearty bite. Mac n cheese..nothing special about it. Noodle were over cooked and bland. Orka...YUMMY:) Our over all experience was pleasant. It's a nice place to stop if you're traveling through Greenville and want a nice quality meal. Ordered take out. It did not include sides or extra ranch(which was On the online order). Called and spoke to mama gate-Mike. Did Did not want to send a gift certificate or gift card. He wanted me to come in and say there was a problem and tell the manager in duty that there was a problem. Why do I have to tell them twice? We live 30 miles from there. He said he didn't know how to do a gift card. Do they want us to come back? Apparently not. The quesadilla had maybe a teaspoon to tablespoon of meat in each section. Poor service is what did it for me. With a little training Aidan could be an excellent server. He was courtous and not rude, but I had issues with this server and the manager did not help to say the least 1) Our food took about an hour to get to us. I asked Aiden when is our food going to get there and he said that he is going to check the back. When he came back from the kitchen, he did not approach is to give an update 2) I asked him to fill up all of our waters and do just filled up mine and left the rest empty. 3) I had to get the manager (Brandy) to see where our food was. She then went to the kitchen and grabbed our food. 4) The brisket was terrible, but the chicken was awesome (it is always like this) 5) The manager did nothing to ensure that we were happy. I am not the type of peropn who demands a free meal or a discount so I paid the full bill, but Brandy should of offered something. 6) All of this resulted in no tip for the server. I ate here because it's close to our hotel. The empty parking lot should have been my first clue this wouldn't be good .The second hint was when I asked the waitress what was good she responded she didn't like the food. The service was slow and a I don't care attitude (she said it was her first day on the job ). If someone told me they liked RibCrib I wouldn't take restaurant recommendations from them !! We've have been here several times since they opened and have rarely been disappointed. Sometimes the flavors are a little off and sometime your reorder of auce ribs are a little fatty...but hey you can order more . Would recommend it. read more
