There is plenty of parking spots and good to see no non sense going on in the parking lot. We have been to a few skate parks where there were shenanigans going on in the parking lot. We stopped because I used to skate and it cool to watch the different levels of skaters having a great time. I'm 56 now and no more skating, I do have a super cool RC truck that I normally bring to the parks, I didn't have it with me on this trip. It was good to see skateboarders , bike riders and scooter riders all having a good time together. Sometimes the younger scooter riders get a hard time from the older kids. We sat in the shade for about an hour and watched tricks being practiced and tricks being pulled off, it brought back a lot of great memories. It was a surprise to see that not everyone had a helmet on, I know it saved my head more than a few times. Side note, just as we were leaving the police pulled up in the parking lot just to do a walk around. Glass is blown almost every day and it's an engaging activity to watch. Perusing the gallery or watching new items being created is a great way to start to understand what you might like (or imagine broader possibilities than you might have walking in). If you're new to blown glass or merely curious, an entry point is their Orbs - which are amazing upgrades to any Christmas trees. Their amazing range of colors and gorgeous swirled patterns are spellbinding in the way they catch the lights on your tree. And that's only the beginning. If that's not your holiday, they have pumpkins, snowpeople and a range of other entertaining options. Beyond the holiday wares, they have a diversity of glassware ranging from beautiful wine stems and champagne flutes to chunkier highballs, daily tableware and a vast array of other vessels of every shape/size/color/pattern/wow. And then there's the artwork. This is where things get truly impressive. They have an array of vases and bowls in different shape/size/color/pattern/wow and a wider variety of broader glass artwork too diverse to describe here. These make unique, exceptional gifts that to lean into when your recipient deserves something which transcends what you might find in our homogenous world of online shopping. Custom artwork is not inexpensive, but we find the prices very reasonable for the quality of the products offered. They also don't make those that are struggling feel left out. They are great at encouraging you and making sure you are having fun. I spent 4 days of instruction with them on the Rogue River and I started out as a complete beginner, not knowing anything about white water kayaking. My instructors were Ashley, J.R. and Jon and I spent at least one day of instruction with each of them. Each of them have their own style of teaching, but I learned so much from them all. Our group of 20+ had a wide range of experience and aptitude, but the instructors worked with each of us at our own pace and still kept the group together each day allowing us to still have fun together no matter our abilities. I would highly recommend Sundance Kayak School for your river guiding needs. Don't even think about going anywhere else!
