Great food, great beer, great patio. All summed up in short. When ordering food, make sure to ready entire menu. Go past the beer and keep reading, there may be more food on the menu. There is a lot of distance between tables. The takeout beer counter, i need a sign that shows me what I can buy and details. The signs were all what's on tap, the small fridge to the side only shows names so i don't know what they are. And then I had to repeat it to the guy at the bar to get it from back. I am not a beer drinker. The selection of beers were amazing from a light Pilsner to various IPAs. A personalized flight of beer was delicious, all recommended by the server. The fish tacos were the best I've ever had, grilled fish, assorted vegetables, amazing. The tofu ban mi is a hit. The corn was succulent grilled cheesy spicy and deer say sexy. Decor - loved it. Wood and concrete - perfect mix of modern, rustic and warm. Crowd - very chill and we were beside a group in their 50s, so anything goes and everyone feels welcome. Staff - helpful, friendly and chill. You order at the bar, which keeps the vibe chill. Beer - they had so much selection for a fairly new operation. The Bender was a winner. Took a selection home with me. Great labelling too! Food - Fried chicken was A+. Had that corn flake goodness and was super super tender. Loved this place so much we came back twice in two days! The food was absolutely excellent, the IPAs were top-notch, and the service was great. Highly recommend for a meal or just hanging out on their patio or indoor-outdoor dining area. Everything we tried was amazing but we particularly loved the fried chicken sandwich and Bulls on Parade IPA. The Coconut Vanilla Runner stout and Korean chicken taco were close seconds, and the burger and poutine were excellent as well. So happy we found this place! read more

Such a great new spot. Recently opened in March 2019. I'm so happy I got to check this place out. I love the atmosphere, there's really good beers on tap, the staff are friendly and the food is really good. This is not like a typical restaurant, you have to place food and drink orders at the counter, take a number and then find a table. Some people may not like this style of service. There's water, cutlery and napkins you can grab yourself at stations in the brewery. I would definitely come back again! read more

Certainly the best brewery in Niagara Falls, no matter which side you are talking about. Everything on tap was a complete home run. DELICIOUS BEER! Great ambiance and vibe. Hip, yet unpretentious. I'm not sure Canadians know how to be pretentious actually, and god love them for that. I had fantastic service at the bar. Plenty of room, with a nice outdoor area to boot. Their food is great too, tight little menu with several tasty options. I will make this stop #1 on my next trip to the falls, and if I were local I would be a regular for sure. I was quite excited to check out this micro brewpub. Perhaps my expectations were too high though. We ordered a flight and all the beer tasted good. Nice variety, flavourful without being overpowering or strange (the beers on tap changes every two weeks apparently). The food is fairly inventive. We thought making the sourdough bread with the spent grains was very smart. The mussels were good, but a bit over salted for me. And the Korean fried chicken was crunchy and spicy, but the chilli flavour became too much after the second piece (you need to really like gochujang). I quite liked the pickled vegetables that came with it though. My husband had the fried chicken sandwich and it seemed to be the most popular item on the menu. He really enjoyed it. Finally, the zeppoli was perhaps the one real disappointing item we had. We thought it would be similar to what we had before, which was an airy, fried pastry with a smooth, sweet filling. But this was a heavier fried fritter and while the ricotta was light, there was no apparent sweetness or peaches in it (one of the main reasons we wanted this dish). Overall it was a good experience. More of a 3.5 out of 5. But it deserves a 4 for effort. read more

Brewery is clean and modern with knowledgeable staff to help you find a beer you'll like! There was a good selection of sours, stouts, and pale ales. My husband tried a stout and the Clockwork IPA and I had the flow pale ale- we both really liked our beers! We sat next to another couple that ordered the bone marrow, poutine, and Korean fried chicken who remarked it was the best purine they have had! If we hadn't had dinner reservations we would have definitely ordered food as well! Also plenty of parking! read more

Came to Niagara Falls on a weekend trip and found our way to counterpart brewing. I'm a big beer guy and love to try all different types of beer. The atmosphere of counterpart was amazing. It was very modern open and hip. Food was very good also would recommend the fries. My girlfriend and I got one flight. One beer was called pure which we were both not fond of, flow which was a hazy ipa would recommend for a beer lover, better place (there was 2 different kinds apricot peach and tangerine lemon) the apricot peach was an amazing weisse, imagine was the last one a very good dry hopped sour. Took an hour to get my order from the feature board. My dining companions were finished eating. The burger was the only thing that was complimented. All else was mediocre at best. Fish taco barely had fish in it. Poutine was just okay. The sourdough was very good. I have eaten here before and liked it, but this experience was not good. If you're on the Canadian side of the Niagara Falls, I highly recommend this brewery. It's located a little far from the touristy locations, but it's certainly worth the drive. I understand everyone is struggling right now, but you are in a customer service industry and some of your employees have not provided basic customer service. In fact the last three times I have been there it's more like they are doing me a favour. This is a great little spot for some craft beer on a patio. With covid still hanging around with restrictions it's nice to have a spot to go to with a patio. Patio is big here but definitely needs some more shade. Grabbed a flight of beer to try some beers they make here and all were excellent. If your into craft beer this place is not to be missed. Ordered some food to go with the flights but have to say the beer is better then the food. My friend had the calamari and I sampled it only to find it soggy. Not sure if they didn't cook long enough or was cooked and sitting around. Next was a beer cheese and pretzel which was very good. Definitely give the pretzels a try with your beer. My entry was the falafel salad. While the falafel was perfect hot and crispy on the outside and soft and flavorful on the inside I was disappointed with the salad. The salad was so gritty I could not eat it. The dressing was more vinegar more then anything and was definitely missing the sesame feel it should have had. Waitresses were excellent attentive and always around to offer refills etc. Perhaps this was an off day so can always try again. Went in for only 2 minutes to see if there was seating and the hostess was beyond rude. She was snappy and made us feel stupid with the questions we presented her with. She told us that we needed to be put on a wait list and after 5 seconds of silence I asked "is there a number we call to check"? She then proceeded to say "well maybe if you gave me your phone number I would put you on the list". That is just one part of our encounter with her. This is one craft brewery you need to try. I tried the Better Place (Berliner Weisse/ sour), Rise & Shine (Stout), Amarillo Flow, Dreamshake (Blueberry Mango Milkshake IPA), Better Days (Berliner Weisse w/ Cherry & Apricot) and the Whimsy (Imperial Gose w/ Raspberry Orange Lime Zest). Every beer I had was good and they have such a large selection with something for everyone. The prices are also reasonable, as I paid $14 for two pints and $10 for a sampler of four beers. I also had a singular fish taco for $6 that was also good. The food menu had a good selection overall with reasonable prices. The place itself had such a fun vibe and it was apparent as soon as you walked in. The design of the interior of the of the brewery had a modern cheque design that used dark wood overlaying black detailing and selectional lighting to provide a relaxing and upscale environment. The brewery also had an open design that fused the brewing area with the general seating area that added an enjoyable component. The patio mirrored the sentiment, constructed out of wood and using lighting in appropriate locations to create a great atmosphere. read more
