I took my 2007 Corvette to get an inspection on 5/18/2026 and the service people rejected my vehicle due to a rear shocks leaking and bad suspension -really at 42,168 mileage. I am a part of a corvette club with two mechanics in my group and he reinspected my vehicle finding no leaky shocks and no bad suspension. My male mechanic friend called the service tech Carlos and the inspector Bradfield Tyler who still said it was leaking but my friend did not find any leakage. My friend also asked for the state trooper's name and number. My male friend then took my car to another service inspection and it was passed with no problems. I want to add that I bought two cars from this dealership from Mr. Brown and I never had any problems until now. I had nothing but my high reviews until now. Save Yourself the Headache - Stay Away from This Dealership I bought a used Cadillac Escalade ESV-V for $123,000 from this dealership, and it has been an absolute nightmare. The vehicle had TWO prior accidents -- something that was never disclosed to me at any point during the sale. I only found out after running my own Carfax report after the purchase. For a six-figure luxury SUV, I expected honesty and transparency -- instead, I got lies and cover-ups. To make matters worse, the salesperson Amad Tariq was shockingly rude. I asked a simple question about the ETA for the delivery driver, and he responded with, "It is what it is, it's traffic time." No explanation, no professionalism -- just unnecessary attitude. It felt like once the sale was done, they couldn't care less. Here's where it really went downhill: when I brought up the accident history and issues with the car, they offered me two terrible options: Keep the car and deal with it, or Trade it in, but only if I bought another vehicle from them. Like I'd trust them again? Not a chance. Who knows what else they're hiding with some "magic touch." I ended up returning the car and lost around $7,000 in ONE WEEK. That's how they handle customer satisfaction. They also tried to brush it off by saying they "only use AutoCheck," as if that's a good excuse. Newsflash: Carfax matters too -- and it clearly showed the issues. On top of that, the car was pulling to the left and had a crooked steering wheel. How did this even pass a Virginia safety inspection? Bottom line: Don't waste your time or money here. Unfortunately I encountered almost the exact same issue as Jason C who reviewed below. I was however able to walk away without a monetary loss two and a half days after my purchase. My story: I was informed by phone upon my inquiry of the vehicle that the Escalade had never been in an accident per the CARFAX report. I purchased the 2023 Escalade after being shown a car report that indicated no accidents or mechanical issues, The next day I noticed a sheen over the windshield that was odd, began inspecting the vehicle in daylight, found a QR code on the drivers side door that took me to an auction site that sells salvaged vehicles that depicted photos of the vehicle I purchased (VIN was exactly the same) with a mangled front end, and the entire passenger side of the vehicle with major damage, It listed the vehicle as primary front end damage, secondary mechanical. For hard earned dollars buying my (ridiculously expensive) dream car Country Chevrolet sold me a severely damaged vehicle that had attempted to be restored to sell as a low mileage, accident free vehicle and at the going rate of every other dealer. I am thankful they were sloppy by leaving the sheen from overspray and that QR code. CARFAX does show the accident per the DMV police division. The Escalade is back on the Country Chevrolet lot for sale. Had I not caught that QR code I would have been about 30,000 dollars upside down as the asking price was not a too good to be true and was similar or higher than others I have viewed. We purchased our 2025 Trax from Country Chevrolet. Need a state inspection, and in Virginia inspections are first come first serve. So we arrive at 7am only to find out they don't start any service until 8am. Think you should be clear about your hours. So that's an hour wait minimum... then we find out they work on appointments first even though we arrived first in line. Walked the lot and see everything listed 5k to 10k more than other dealers in the area. We've been repeat customers but not sure we'd be back. Just don't get a positive vibe anymore. read more

Purchased a used hellcat from them and it was stolen 2 days later. The dealer Eddie was no help regarding paperwork I needed for the insurance company. Fortunately it was recovered but I would not recommend this dealership. Not only were they not helpful but the circumstances around the theft are a little suspicious. bought new truck sales man told me it had snow plow and trailer towing packaged plus integrated trailer breaks even sent picture of integrated break control. However when I got it home hooked up my trailer i found no break controller. Went to another dealership in a town where I lived to see if controller was installed. I was informed there wasn't one. They also said my snowplow and trailer package was not installed. It was found under my trucks back seat. I had to have dealer install integrated break that way it was covered under warranty. To install snowplow and trailer package my local dealer wanted over $1000. I sent Country installation bill for break controller. I emailed them about snowplow and trailer towing package not being installed. They said that was my fault because i didn't tell them. On window sticker it said to be installed by dealer. I called them back Manager would not talk to me so his assistant did and i should have checked it before I left dealership. I told him on Window sticker it says dealer to install. He then got rude so I hung up. They never did offer to install that package. Also the truck inspection was 6 months old. I also told truck was fully loaded by salesman, including lane change. It had warning if driving if you veared into other lane, but not lane change warning if car was in your blind spot. I contacted sales person and complained, he texted me back I cost him his commisssion. I contacted their service department about installing my snowplow option and they said they would have to charge me. I am now looking to buying new 2500 diesel and it definitely will not be from that dealership. I am going to look at a Ford or Ram. read more

I purchased my Z06 here. The salesperson was great. The finance person was great. I think the biggest plus was that they had a very competitive price for the car, and had no additional fees such as LoJack, and other dealer add-on accessories fees. The $900 processing fee is unavoidable, but not too bad compared to other chevy dealers. Also we might have won the jackpot with the salesperson. It was sooo easy to work with him, without any pressure. I took advantage of their Bank of America promo - which they get a piece of the action too, but I saved 0.5% against PenFed with 850 credit. Plus I bank with them, so it just popped up one day and I can just setup bill pay. The only thing I would advise them against is to put the cars inside. I know they're having construction done, but the paint had some watermarks and swirl marks that needed correcting after the purchase. read more

This sales experience was very straight-forward and not stressful at all for me. Some women hesitate from buying a car from a dealership because some car salesmen will treat women differently than they would a man, but not this dealership. I knew what I wanted and did my research before I ever stepped foot in the door. Eddie was very helpful and listened to me when I told him what was an absolute must for me to have in my new Tahoe vs. what would be a nice option to have. They sold us a lemon. We purchased a 2017 Subaru WRX for our son last summer. Before the loan was even funded the clutch went out. A few months later the transmission had to be replaced and now (after owning the car only 9 months) the engine has to be replaced. We bought the car with 58k miles on it. We sent a letter regarding this costly and surprising trifecta of issues in a 9 month timespan and the owner sent back a reply telling us that we should have "googled" all of these possible issues before buying the car. He didn't even take the time to look at the model we purchased before lecturing us as parents about why we should never have bought the car for our son and then refused to do anything about the issues. His response is about the STI model - which we didn't purchase - and he blames our son for the issues. The clutch went ONCE not twice. Another example of failing to pay attention to the details in his rush to blame my son. I'm literally shocked at the condescending, uninformed and belligerent response we received. See photos below. An update on this review. Neil from Country Chevrolet reached out to me, and seemed genuinely concerned by my experience at his dealership. He has arranged for a loaner vehicle, and for his service department to service my Jeep. Right now, I am offering the dealership a three star review, and if our buisness is concluded in a fair manner, I plan to change my rating to four stars, and to tentatively recommend him to my friends. I have no reason to believe that he does not intend to deliver on his promise. have to regretfully give this dealership 1 star for a lack of integrity in their product service. Purchasing a very nice Jeep from them, my salesman Neil trumpeted how they stand by their product, and that during any service period, they would give me a complimentary loaner vehicle. I even purchased a warranty for the vehicle. Less than a month later, I called them when my radio shorted out. Their response "Go to a Jeep dealership." So I said "Sir you you must be mistaken, my salesman Neil assured me you'd take care of me and my Jeep". Their response: "Take it to a Jeep Dealer". So, Country Chevrolet, due to your lack of integrity, I'm giving you a bad review. I was talking with Steve but got pushed to Brandon the finance guy. He seemed pretty slippery, pushy and loose with the facts. I was sitting in his office waiting to pickup a new SUV and he stepped out to grab the paperwork for the vehicle. His assistant came in and asked for my cashiers check. I explained that Brandon went to get my paperwork and that I needed to review everything before handing over a cashiers check - seemed kind of odd at the time. She said it would be ok and reached for the check but I told her that I would rather wait. Of course, Brandon did return a few minutes later and there was a problem with the numbers and he claimed they were unable to honor the price that I was quoted over the phone. Explained that to him that I drove down from Tysons Corner in heavy rain and they could have called me on my cell and that was a really slick sleazeball way to treat people - but he seemed like such a reptile loser and it just rolled off him and had no effect so I stormed out. It also seemed like this wasn't his first time playing this one. Raced back to Tysons for a hot shower. I've talked with a few car dealers and the folks at Country rank high on my all time sleazy car company list - avoid the place. You never win with this type of company. I really question the reviews of Country Chevrolet workers Ray and Nick. Never going back to Country or buying any GMC product again. I posted this same review on google and someone under the username of Owner dismissed it as fake. Unfortunately, too real and this person sounds angry and bitter! Needs to take a class on how not to act on the world wide web. Ben Greer of Country Chevrolet responded right away and was more than happy to place my order. From start to finish he went above and beyond escalating issues, following up, and keeping me updated. He was even helping me on his days off! Ben was a fantastic man to work with throughout the entire 3.5 months. We were looking for a Chevy Trax and this place had the lowest price. My parents and I worked with a guy named Boris. He was super nice and respectful. The process to buy the Trax was simple and painless! The only reason I would them four stars is because someone called about two weeks later saying we need to get an emissions test done and asked when we are going to get the test done. We had never purchased a used car before so we didn't know this was necessary(partly our fault I realize). He proceeded to say we were told when we bought the car that we needed to get the emissions test when neither my parents or I heard any mention of this. It brought the customer service rating down for sure, but it was an easy fix. Overall, our experience was great and Boris was fantastic! Buyer Beware! Must read if you are considering purchasing a used vehicle from Country Chevrolet. Come in with your own financing, do not, I repeat do not waste your time giving them an opportunity to finance. I went through my local PNC to get financing ahead of time and came in to see what the dealership would offer for rates. I told them where my credit was, even showed them my score from the print out earlier in the day from PNC (I showed them after Sam doubted that my credit was where I told him it was, yes I was a little insulted). I told them they had one shot to give me the best rate they could. They were over a full percent higher than my local PNC. It wasn't until I told them they were way off the mark did they want to come down on the rate. At that point they had lost my trust and I didn't want to do business with them. The sales staff was not knowledgeable at all about the vehicles nor the warranties they desperately try to push on you. I asked if a specific item was covered by the warranty and Sam said of course. I asked him for literature on the warranty which he hesitated to give me. I told him I'm not paying for something I cant read the literature on. Of course when i looked in the warranty documents the item I asked about was not covered by the extended warranty, this made it a little awkward considering he had just told me it was. The dealership also "lost" the spare key and owners manual, which after reading other reviews seems like a common practice at Country Chevrolet. Last but not least they assured me the vehicle would pass Maryland inspection because it had passed Virginia state inspection. Needless to say the vehicle did not pass Maryland inspection and I was told too bad. The document I have showing it passed Virginia inspection shows it was done at the Dealership by Christopher Fox, no doubt they've worked out an agreement with someone to pass vehicles that shouldn't really be passed. The selection of trucks at Country Chevrolet is great but the staff there SUCKS! The sales/finance don't know the products they sell and are deceptive in how they go about their business. If you see a vehicle you like make sure you use your own financing and do all your homework on the vehicle before you get there because their staff certainly wont be able to answer your questions. read more
